I've only visited for brunch, so I can't comment on the dinner menu, but the food is pretty good. Prices are high, but that's the usual in 2025.

The only thing bad I have to say was their roast pork belly was very dry - it might have been an off day.“

“I had an amazing meal at this cozy spot! I ordered the Oh Baby box, a scallop roll, and a vegan roll, and let me tell you, everything was simply delicious. Each bite was bursting with flavor, and the freshness of the ingredients was truly impressive. Even the miso soup and salad were delightful; I didn't expect to enjoy those so much!

The service was fantastic! Our server was friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. The vibes in the restaurant were great, creating a perfect atmosphere for a relaxing meal. “I usually place takeout orders by calling them. This time, I dined in, and once again, the food was incredible. I also ordered a tea pot and the kunefe dessert. They came by a couple of times to ask if I wanted more tea or if I needed anything else, like extra sauce or bread. That was super thoughtful of them. I love Mediterranean food, but this place gives me a homemade food feeling, which makes me love it even more. They have some cute pictures on the walls featuring Turkey and Turkish food, which makes the place feel very authentic.“

“Being Burmese, I can attest this is an AUTHENTIC Burmese restaurant which surprisingly is rare in the bay. We had the ginger salad, pork curry, and the saucy spicy chicken with jasmine rice. The saucy spicy chicken is a standout dish that is a traditional Burmese-Chinese style dish that I haven’t seen in any other Burmese restaurant here. It’s actually not spicy and has the perfect balance of sweetness and tartness and brought me back to Chinese restaurants in Rangoon. Their pork curry, which is a quintessential Burmese dish also passed my taste test. The lady that cooks here is Burmese and very nice and she told me proudly she makes everything from scratch. I’ll definitely be coming back here!“

Food: Most of the foods are grilled or fried. All of them are tasty and fresh. Many fish choices, sauces, and sites to choose from. My favorite sauces are garlic butter and Cajun. The fish and chips are very good with tartar sauce. The grilled sea bass fish are very flavorful and would recommend having sauce on the side.

Price: very reasonable price for portions of food.“

“Love the food here! Best Chinese food you will ever get and for cheap too! Atmosphere could use a bit more work, decorated kinda plain and there's no music, just a TV we can't even hear. My biggest complaint is that they close at random times and often for long periods of time and I have no way of knowing unless I call in beforehand to know what time they close that day. If they don't pick up, they're closed.“

“I'm fortunate to live in a region of the Bay Area where there are a lot of Filipino restaurants and each of them do so much to sustain the cultural significance of the Philippine population of the area.

For years in having this restaurant as part of my rotation of Filipino cuisine, one of their superpowers is their consistency for delivering good tasting food. Time and time again, I find their offerings to be as good or better than their competitors.

Their service is great and you can count on being warmly greeted by the staff. I also feel that their portions are more generous than their counterparts. So if it's good food you're after, I highly recommend them.

And as is typical of a lot of Filipino joints, decor, atmosphere and aesthetics aren't their thing. As you'll see in the accompanying pictures, this place is about as basic, utilitarian and modest as a place can be, as stripped down as an apartment of newlyweds. But then again, you don't come here for the furniture and art on the walls did you? If you did, you'd be richly disappointed.“

This is a must try, especially if you plan on eating before shopping. I have many memories of reluctantly spending time at Korean grocery stores growing up. “This is the only place that offers fish or shrimp burrito. They also have the normal meats burritos which is very good however my favorite is the fish burrito. I know? Fish burrito. They have the fish burrito or shrimp which is very unusual. They not only have the fish burrito, they give you a lot. It’s enough to cover the entire burrito and not over cooked at all. In terms of meat, my husband’s favorite is the carne asada(beef) burrito or pork Al pastor( bbq pork). He also tried the chicken and he said it was a little bit too dry for him the meat.“

My BFs dad spoke with the owner who is usually working, &sometimes they don't get any business on slow days:( &the food was VERY good! “My family loves going to Manila Oriental. Whenever I don't want to go in with them, I like going in here. The store is clean and always has freshly made pastries and goodies.
It has the standard staples like bbq pork buns, egg tarts, and sesame balls, to name a few. I like that it is a no frills bakery and it is reasonably priced. People who work here are nice and tell me about any other fresh seasonal items they have. You can't really ask for more, just be warned if you come later in the afternoon, most of the items might be sold out“
