Starbucks in Dana Point

“Very warm and friendly service, engaged in a chat based on my coffee thermo that I got from my travel while getting my seasonal drink fix.This location is difficult to get into if you're north-bound on PCH (-1 star), but when you need your coffee, your will to get into this Starbuck can be strong.There is a drive through, but I parked to take a break from driving. There are less than 10 spots with 2 ♿️ spaces,I think (can see one from my photo).Will return, especially if I'm going south-bound on PCH. Enjoy!“

“I just left this location & I swear, the staff just made my entire day! Marcus was taking orders in the drive thru & his energy was so positive, so cheerful, so contagious!! ! He was AMAZING!!! I didn’t catch the lady’s name who gave us our order but she was just as great! She was so cheerful, so positive & so sweet! It was free red cup day, YAY! To top it all off.. my drink was PERFECTION! Which.. if you love your coffee like I do .. nothings worse than craving it & it not hitting like you want it to. Not a problem at this location. “This was one of my best Starbucks experiences. I frequent this location inside the Albertsons when we visit the in laws. The barista working this week is one of the best I have experienced. She gets to know her customers and remembered me the rest of the week. She even changed back to brewing the Thanksgiving blend in the mornings as I asked if they would offer that blend during this week. I hope they can retain her as I have been going to this location for many years now. By far the best Starbucks experience.“

“I regularly (almost every morning) come here because everyone is so kind, warm, and welcoming. Yes, they remember me because I stop by on my way to work regularly, but I want to stop by. I see the same other guests on the daily too - who chat with the baristas, so I know I’m not the only one who feels appreciated by the staff here. I feel comfortable and I often, also, grade papers in the wee hours of the morning to which I’m asked how my school year is going. Cailyn, Sam, and Patricia(and I’m sorry that I’m not including everyone’s names) always work their tails off and I’m appreciative of their work ethics and that they genuinely care to provide the best experience they can for those who stop in. In reading some other reviews, I can appreciate that people get frustrated when orders go wrong from time to time, but I’ve also seen the staff maintain their calm under pressure, even in the face of a lack of compassion for human error. So they have my respect and appreciation. This store will continue to be my “go-to” location. ☺️“
