“If you’re looking for amazing Chinese food, Mayflower is the place to go. The quality of the food is consistently outstanding, and the portions are generous—definitely great value for the price.

The highlight for me is the Peking duck. It’s perfectly prepared, with crispy skin, tender meat, and all the traditional accompaniments. Easily one of the best I’ve had anywhere.

Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and served hot. The service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere made the dining experience even better. The bus boy named Christian went out of his way to keep us our table clean and refilling our drinks.

Highly recommend Mayflower for anyone craving delicious, authentic Chinese dishes!“

“The gym is great. Pretty much everything you could ask for. Giant tennis area, 2 basketball courts, lots of cardiov machines, yoga studios with lots of classes, I usually don't have to wait for anything in the weight room. The big drawback is the cost. Very expensive membership. I wouldn't be going here if I had to pay for cost of membership.“

“I had a takeout pizza from this restaurant last night first of all the customer service was absolutely excellent. The person that answered the phone had a really pleasant customer focused manner , nothing was too much trouble and he was so polite. “I only gave it a 4 because depending on the time you order, the shrimp is either perfectly cooked and fresh or black. But the flovor of the sauce is delicious. Same with the eggs if you order when they just open there good, but later in the day, they look overcooked.“

Unfortunately (for me) last night I deviated from my norm and ordered the London broil. It was over cooked (I requested medium) and I struggled through it. “Mai Thai is our go-to for Thai food. We chose it over Naung Mai in Oak Harbor initially because of the price difference, but the portions are bigger and there's more of your chosen meat/protein in the soups and entrees. That said- be aware you have to LIKE SPICE. Recently it has been difficult to get "spice 1", which should just be a hint. If you say "no spice", it's OK, but not Thai, right? But if there's a difference between 1 and 4, I can't tell. Our Pho soup tonight (spice 1) was burning our throats. The pad thai was OK at spice 1, but still quite a bit spicier than I would assume 1 would be. This is a new development for this restaurant, so it is probably a new chef. Just BE AWARE. Anyway, most people complain the food in the PNW is too bland, so you won't have that problem, at least! And as far as ordering, we use the online app. Add five mins to the time it says your pick up is ready. It is never ready. Door Dashers use this place constantly, and they clog the order process. There is indoor dining, but we have never used it, thanks to Covid protocols. Also- a final word on parking. The parking lot has been sectioned off from looping through the driver's ed school next door. Therefore the lot is super tough to turn and get out. You are better off parking along the strip by the salon to the left of the restaurant and walking up. Please be careful in this area of town at night.“

“We went to a baby shower last Saturday. We sat outside which was lovely. The service and food is ALWAYS so good! They do not skimp on their portions! We have been coming here since 1985. Thanks Tony, you know how to do it right!“

“Finally went to this place. The food was fantastic. Service was great when we first arrived, but after ordering our food is when it began. I did not receive the correct empanadas. The ones I did receive were also great, so I said nothing. The paloma was slow to arrive. My husband's meal did not arrive until we were halfway done with ours. There was no checking in with us, and no offers of more water for our empty glasses. My husband finally got up to get someone for our check. They were apologetic and brought out some churros on the house. My shrimp tacos were amazing, and my son's tzunun salad looked amazing, too. Not sure how often we will be back. The service was not great and eating out is very expensive these days. For the prices paid, some beans or rice with tacos should not be an upcharge. Some chips and salsa should be included as well.“

I've been here for their lunch special a half-dozen times over the past year, and it's been consistently excellent. Great price for the amount of food, and every entree I have ordered has been great, especially the spicy eggplant with tofu. The portions are very generous too - my wife and I always end up bringing home leftovers.

My family and I often order takeout for dinner here as well, and again, have never been disappointed. Everything is exceptionally fresh - the veggie and seafood options are my favorites.“

“I haven't been to a buffet buffet in years, even before Covid. It was nice seeing hot food out in the open again like the good old days. This buffet had a huge variety of different cuisines from sushi, chinese food, crab legs, build your own mala bowl, dim sum, and even cooked to order steaks! Not going to lie, but I was a little hesitant at the thought of eating at a buffet again, but everything was very fresh and the food area was clean. The staff rotated the dishes out frequently and each item was kept nice and hot.

Food was hot and fresh but I had to drive home. 30 mins later I heated up the food a in the air fryer and my god was it great. I always make sure to get it when I'm here, as I try it at other places and nothing compares. Other favorites are honey walnut shrimp, chow main (combo but really any choice is good choice), and beef with black pepper sauce. My Grandpa would always get sweet sour fish fillet, which was tasty but not my first choice. Try this place next time you head out in search of a great Chinese Restaurant. I wish I could make it out there more often, so if you're nearby, you're in luck!“

“Really Nice guys; I want them to succeed because it's nice having a taqueria down the street. They have a great taco Tuesday special, although the sign is tiny and you might miss it. As I write this, it's $10 for 3 street tacos and an agua fresca or soda. And then they give you chips & there is a salsa bar, so that is a major plus. I have also had the nachos, which were very large, and the Chilaquiles, which were nice & spicy.“
