“We were looking for the “bench” restaurant to get pizza, but ended up sitting in this restaurant (turns out Pebble beach has many restaurants close by and they are all named differently). This restaurant turned out to be great! We were not much hungry and just wanted to enjoy ambience and have some snacks. The views were gorgeous! Appetizers were yum. Drink was good as well. They also validated our “17 miles drive entry fee” - 12.5$ (they subtracted it from the check). And also they gave us a postcard!”

“This is a great place to taste wine from all over the world. The sommelier’s are really knowledgeable without being elitist and make you feel right at home in the cozy space.”

“The steak flatbread is amazing. The bartender with the red hair is very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The hot drinks were amazing.i highly recommend getting one. No dress code required. Free parking lot outside and its open late. Great vibe. We sat at the bar right away.”

“Fabulous food and terrific service and hospitality from a friendly and professional staff. My wife and I both took the wine pairing and the selection and quality of the wines were flawless. Unlike another high-end restaurant where we had dinner a few months ago, there was nothing stingy about the pours at Chez Noir. It's a pricey meal to be sure, but we both thought it was worth it and will definitely re-visit.”

“Our visit to Stoke's Adobe last weekend produced the best meal I've had on The Peninsula in a decade! Restauranteur, Sarah Orr, has hit one out of the park. The dishes prepared by Executive Chef, Bryce Hansen, were flawless, my favorties being the seared scallops and truffle chicken. Loved the nod to former occupant and socialite, Hattie Gragg, with the inclusion of the Hattie's Old Fashioned on the cocktail menu :) Looking forward to our next visit and an opportunity to sample other items on their ever evolving menu.”

“The pizza is the best in Monterey county. As locals we eat at Pizza Heaven several times a month. The service staff is very friendly and accommodating. Take out is very easy too. Their special pizzas are always fresh ingredients and great. The thin crust doesn't overpower the toppings.”

“I first visited this amazing local deli in 1989-1990. I remembered the half loaves of bread stacked high with a pile of my choice of meats and cheeses. Although I was only 18-19, Compagno’s established my standard for an amazing sandwich. 32 years later I brought my sons here for lunch. Same delicious goodness a generation later.”

“Great dinner -- Good cocktails - Blood orange gin & tonic & San Vitor . Also a selection of spritzes. Duck pate' nice size portion to split for appetizer. Cappellacci di Granchio - little soft pillows of crab and ricotta in lemon butter sauce and Spaghetti alla carbonara were both delicious. No room for the homemade gelato. Great service and nice wine list. Suggest reservations.”

“Elevated comfort food with a few minor twists (branzino gets the au poivre treatment; lamb lightened up with lots of watercress) but all familiar enough for our teen daughters to love. Big buzzy room and standout friendliness from our server. Just a delight.”

“Being an old-ish Army Vet, I had to try the SOS, as it was the go to breakfast in the 80's Army. I was not disappointed with the flavor or the memories! Great, efficient servers, service and food. 12 stars outta 10 stars! (When the VA appointments send me this way again, I'll definitely be getting my breakfast here!)”

“Great staff, it’s always clean, and they make amazing sandwiches. This place tends to get real busy at lunch time; I recommend calling ahead. You you also have a choice of delicious breads, and you can customize your sandwich if you wish! The staff is always courteous, and quick. Their egg salad sandwich is really delicious, you just have to try it!”
