“What a great new addition to Brea! We were impressed by the quality and variety of their offerings. You order at the counter, grab a seat, and the team brings everything out fresh. We ordered the Beef Empanadas to start and we got these mains - Salmon Bowl, Peri Peri Chicken Plate, California Burger, Gaucho Steak Sandwich to share.

The Beef Empanada was so good, with the flakey crust. Our entire party really enjoyed all the dishes, the portions were generous and tasted delicious. We also got the Triple Chocolate Cookie which was the perfect finish.

Overall, this is a great option for lunch and dinner. They also have a nice patio that’s dog friendly. Their staff was ultra friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back!“

“Always good food . Typically good service. Atmosphere is VERY dependent on the booth where one is seated. Unfortunately, if you're near the bus station, it is very loud as the workers divide up plates, silverware, glasses et cetera. We go here for brunch.Most sundays after church. moving forward, we will always ask for the lounge.... far from the bus station in the center of the Cafe dining room. It would be much better if the separating of dishes were done in the kitchen, away from diners ears and out of the atmospheric influences. I still strongly recommend this restaurant.Just choose your seat wisely.“

“They easily accommodated our mobility issues with a walker and table to sit side by side. The hostess was kind and patient. Server was very well versed on the menu and able to modify items according to our needs. The food came perfectly as ordered and was exceptionally good. We cannot recommend this restaurant more heartily! Service, menu items and variability, ability to modify to dietary needs all were excellent. Next time we are in West Covina, we will definitely return to the Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar. By the way, the wine list was very good as well. “I've been getting bean and cheese burritos for a while now but Wednesday I ordered two bean and cheese burritos as usual with cilantro and onions and pico de gallo plus I decided I would try there breakfast burrito (sausage eggs and cheese). Bean and cheese burritos no cilantro no no onions and the sausage egg and cheese breakfast burrito was no egg no sausage but plenty of potatoes rolled up as a breakfast burrito but charged as a breakfast burrito. that had to be deliberately done. I don't know what I did to piss off cook but I got the message.“

“This is my go to spot. I never have a disappointing meal at this location. The place is clean and the service is fast. Our server Freddie was especially on top of his game. I didn't need to ask for a refill on my lemonade or unlimited shrimp.“

“Michelin-Level Experience at Outback Prices The Wild Artichoke in Yorba Linda is a hidden gem. I was expecting something entirely different — and was pleasantly surprised in the best possible way. We started with the smashed potatoes and endive salad, which made for perfect appetizers: light enough not to spoil our appetite, yet full of flavor to whet it. The portions were ideal for sharing with my wife. For our main courses, we ordered from the lunch menu. I had the Wagyu burger, and my wife went with the tempura fish and chips. I’m not sure how they did it, but every bite was incredibly well-balanced. The fish had a crispy exterior, just the right touch of Maldon salt, and a beautifully firm, flaky interior. The tartar sauce was exceptional — rich, creamy, and unlike any I’ve had before. The burger was a standout. Each ingredient was distinct and purposeful — no unnecessary fillers. Every component worked in harmony to deliver deep, layered flavors in every bite. We ended the meal with the Basque cheesecake, which was beautifully presented. It wasn’t overly sweet, and the perfectly burnt top paired wonderfully with the sweet berry compote. A special treat was getting to meet the head chef. What a pleasant surprise. He shared the story behind one of his dishes and mentioned that every item on the menu has its own story and purpose. That passion really comes through in the food. I’ve dined at many fine restaurants, and I can confidently say the quality here rivals places charging $150–$200 per plate. The value is extraordinary for the caliber of cuisine offered. This is a truly special hidden gem — perfect for a relaxed lunch with friends or an intimate dinner date. I can’t wait to try the rest of their menu!“

“I just love this place. Since like forever. I love how it can be 100 degrees outside but you step inside and it’s a cozy winter cabin. I really only come here for the salad and bread but I will say I’ve had the small steak the last couple visits and it’s amazing.“
