They have the choice between traditional pork slices or slices of the most tender chicken breast. You place orders on a ticket so each person orders exactly as they want. This is for the peeps who have yet to try…do it. Tastes amazing and you won’t regret it. Still not sure how to cut down the large pieces of chicken in the broth with chopsticks, but that’ll be for my second visit.“

“Tucked into a quiet plaza near a karaoke bar, this ramen spot is easy to miss but a lifesaver on cold nights. The tonkotsu broth was thick and creamy, with a deep pork flavor that lingered perfectly. I got the spicy level 2—it was hot but not overwhelming. Gyoza were crisp on the outside, juicy inside. The vibe is calm and welcoming, perfect for solo diners“

“Me and my son went for dinner!! It was our 1st time, we absolutely loved it!!! My husband and I always walk by, but had never been. The next time, I'm taking him inside to eat, he would love it!!
I had the Spicy Miso Soup and my son had the vegetable Miso soup and we had the Kanage chicken, Japanese style fried chicken and the pot stickers. Everything was very good!! Can't wait to go back! Our server, He was great and very friendly.“

“Excellent service and food! Our family are regulars there and we joined them for lunch and had a delicious meal. Shout out to Abel and the entire lunch crew. You all were wonderful especially with our large group (including babies). The ramen, various sushi rolls, tempera, asparagus appetizer, miso soups and rice were all excellent and full of flavor! Highly recommend! Excited to go back. Oh and would love to see a vegetarian broth option for the ramen if ever possible! That would be an awesome addition. Thanks again!“

“It couldve been because I was early, dining in and the broth didn't develop a bitter after taste from over cooking, but it's been awhile since I've had good ramen. The champion ramen had a good mixture of wet and dry flavors. Chashu + seaweed had a subtle fish dry taste vibe which is new. Noodles were chewy and not clumpy mouth feel. Broth and ground pork were rich but not overly. Overall taste + texture was superb and especially warming during the winter. Also the waiter Rick is such a homeboy and service is amazing.

Last time I liked having ramen was when I was running around in an orange jumper. Hope the guys and gals stay in business.“

“Hands down one of the best sushi experiences I’ve had locally. The fish was incredibly fresh and clearly high quality, and the pricing felt like excellent value for what you’re getting.

We had the toro, A5 wagyu, shima aji, the Oyishi roll, and the BG salmon roll—every single bite was outstanding. You can really tell the care and skill that goes into the food.

On top of that, the chef was personable, welcoming, and genuinely nice, which made the whole experience even better. This is officially my new favorite sushi spot and has earned a permanent place in my go-to rotation. Highly recommend.“

“This place is fairly close to the airport which was great! We got to enjoy a wonderful dish of ramen before flying out. The employees were kind and very helpful. We were greeted with a smile and was gave a concise summary of the menu. We both order the spicy chicken ramen and a sample of all the gyozas. We would recommend ordering both dishes!“

“Recently this place has become my hidden gem. I am absolutely obsessed with this little restaurant nestled in downtown La Verne. The food is absolutely fantastic, and the owners are criminally under charging for their generous portions and delicious food. However, I think im most impressed about how much the owners care for their customers. My sister and I went to get coffee from nambah, and we came back to wait for our food. The owner saw that we had our drinks and without even asking, included coffee biscuits/cookies in our bag to enjoy with our beverages. My sister and I were absolutely baffled at the generosity because this is the type of treatment you’d see in places abroad. But we felt totally welcomed, cared after, and most importantly viewed as people rather than customers. I have been going here once or twice a week for the past 2 months and they haven’t failed me once.“

“Smaller than expected but I enjoyed the food! I got the: Chicken Karaaga Bowl. The chicken was jucy on the inside and extra crispy on the outside. I liked how they added ginger to it and really complements the dish. They also have Soy Sauce and Gyoza Sauce on the tables to add if needed. Really enjoyed the meal and I had the large size. Is also very wallet friendly.“

“First time at this Yoshiharu, we use to go to Whittier but we recently moved to this city closer to our home. The food is amazing!! Super flavorful. The employees are great but there is one guy in particular who really made our food experience amazing. He greets the guest. His name is Chef Raymond (Chef Riot). Love how he runs the kitchen smoothly and how he cooks with passion. He actually asked us if we are enjoying the food & that made us feel super welcomed. Love it!! Thank You Yoshiharu. “Came here for Father & Daughter Valentine’s Day Lunch. First thing that stood out was how beautiful the interior was, my daughter and I loved being able to sit in the booths. The food was great, a little pricey but that’s expected with Sushi. I recommend getting the mushrooms as an appetizer! I also want to give a shoutout to Megan who was our server that day. She was really sweet and attentive, really enjoyed her positive spirit while we were there. I managed to get a Polaroid with her that they were doing for Valentines Day. Overall great lunch. “Very surprised that we got to eat good sushi for such good price! You can tell that they’re good because they give you a huge piece of sashimi on a tiny ball of rice. Honestly all sashimi were good, but the fried calamari!!! SO GOOD!! The atmosphere is also very clean and modern, very comfortable. I think near the end, they got too busy because some of our food didn’t arrive and our time was up while we waited, but the girl that helped us was very friendly and helped us get our order! There was another girl that was kinda rude to us when we first asked her for another menu because we had 8 people and one menu wasn’t enough for all of us to look at. She was very sweet to other customers but was very impatient with us when we asked some questions about the menu… However, food was good so I’ll definitely go back!!“

“I often come here with my girlfriend when it's cold. The food has good portions and is always nice and hot. I'm not quite sure why many of the reviews are hating on the cashier lady. Never had a bad experience with her, she doesn't talk much but is friendly if spoken to. Overall I enjoyed the food. Been coming here many years and will continue to do so.“
