“I stopped by Lazy Dog on the second day of my LA business trip while I was in between checking out of my hotel and waiting for our Airbnb to be ready. It ended up being a really nice place to relax and enjoy a good meal.

I tried the Bacon Candy, which was probably the most memorable item. The bacon was sweet, slightly spicy, and nicely caramelized from the brown sugar. I had never really had bacon served this way before, so I thought it was very creative and surprisingly addictive.

I also ordered the Chuckwagon Flat Iron Steak, and it was excellent. The steak was flavorful and nicely grilled, and the smoked chili butter and crispy onion straws made it even better.

There’s also a Lazy Dog near where I live, so this wasn’t my first time dining with them. What impressed me was how consistent the quality was. Even while traveling, the food and overall experience were just as good as what I’m used to back home.

Lazy Dog has always been very consistent for me, and this visit was another good example of that. Comfortable atmosphere, good service, and really solid food. I would definitely come back again.“

“Cozy Japanese place perfect to grab lunch at! We got a rice ball, takoyaki, and the pork katsu sandwich. All the food came out very promptly and was yummy.

The interior is very cute! There are cute painted signs with food items. We also got some cute free stickers! Seating is limited to ~10 people due to the small size of the place so if it's busy, doing take-out would definitely be best. Unfortunately, there wasn't strong AC so it was hot inside.

Parking is limited and small but you could find street parking/parking in the neighborhood and walk.“

“Oh yes. My wife and I have passed this place many times when visiting the adjacent Flower market in DTLA - and it was always busy. After we had all our flowery-needs yesterday I asked my wife to Yelp "best breakfast in DTLA" and it popped up - the Poppy & Rose - and we were standing in front of it. I must say two things: I did not find the ambiance too appealing and they you could hear through the open door it was extremely loud. Still, we gave it a try - and I can tell you: it was delicious. Our server - one you would describe as the typical California surfer boy - was extremely charming - so despite the so-so ambiance (the vibe of this place was great though) and the noise we will definitely go again. Would we make a 30+ min detour just to eat here (mandatory in my rating scheme to achieve five out five): again, oh yes!“

“Finally we came to this Korean restaurant tonight and knew that we had made the right decision. We tried their Bossum and Seafood pancake and it turned out they were really delicious. “The food never fails. The Pho is done right and we always order the 2 rib bone soup which is simmered for 4 hours. But with this visit, we tried the oxtail soup which was simmered for 10 hours. We always get the garlic fries. We also ordered crispy chicken in medium heat and chicken wings in the garlic parmesan flavor. All good and it didn’t disappoint at all. This place is open til 1:30am, this is our go to late night eats which doesn’t happen too often. This place is cute with a potted tree in the middle and decorated well. The evening we were there, we weren’t only ones eating, the mosquitos were eating us, the reason I gave the atmosphere a 4 star. Aside from that, this place is a go-to. There’s always a line.“

You can't go wrong with anything they offer on the menu, even to complimentary side dishes. Seafood pancake is something I always order to go when I treat guests at home.

It's not fancy looking from outside (which is why I gave 4 stars for the atmosphere), but the owner, who's very friendly on the phone, makes you feel completely at home while dining in there.
