“Very nice people working here! Three of us came in, had the bbq mix, Korean short ribs and battered shrimp. The beef was a lot of gristle and couldn’t eat it and one piece of chicken was pretty tough. The rice was good, macaroni salad good although unique. The Korean ribs were good. Staff was nice and helpful! $1 to refill your soda on fountain or you can buy can or bottle soda. Interesting concept.“

“Today I was in search for Hawaiian barbecue. I usually go to the loft but today I wanted to try something new and I found this place on yelp. Oh my God, this place was amazing. I got the Hawaiian style poke and seriously so bomb and so fresh. I also got the big beef plate with a short rib for my wife. She fell in love with his place and said we have to go every week now. This place is so good. Customer service was awesome. The ambience had surfboards old pictures seem like I was in Maui. We will definitely be back.“

“Aloha Catering has an amazingly epic ambiance with cool decor and festive for holidays. The patio is very spacious and hands down best Hawaiian local joints in LA. Most Hawaiian restaurants are in Soith Bay OC San Diego and Bay Area. Fortunately we are blessed on Los Angeles to have a venue such as this.“

“I tried this place for the first time today, and I am very happy I did.
It is a hole in the wall type place with Hawaiian style poke & other Hawaiian dishes.
I had the sweet & spicy ahi and salmon combination with rice, and it was excellent, in my opinion. Also, the service was quick and really friendly.
I plan on coming back soon!“

“Always a pleasure to write a 5 star review, this is definitely worth taking my time because the customer service was above and beyond, food was great and during a hot day it was definitely refreshing to walk in for my lunch.

To comment on portuon its a scoop just like everywhere else, i did see reviews in portion, but they are good, dont let that stray you away from trying this place. I've had poke from all over and definet3worth the drive and worth the try.

“It was good. I really enjoyed my poke bowl, and so did my asian mother who actualy doesn’t enjoy very much of anything not Chinese. My mother was kicking and screaming when I suggested the hanger. She was originally going to go somewhere else but I was very surprised when she brought a poke bowl back to our table. And she liked it. I ate a large, ate a half of a bowl, and brought the rest home. Put it in the fridge and took it out and just ate it and it was good! Some places the rice and other stuff isn’t good quality anymore, but nope this was just dandy. I got the brown rice, the salmon, albacore, spicy tuna, and octopus. I got most of everything. Got the asian sauce and the spicy mayo. I am accustomed to having poke bowls not as often but sometimes. But for my mother who I didn’t think would like it, to like it thats pretty good. It was her first time eating a poke bowl too.“

“This spot is inside a business park so they close at about 1:30pm, but, this is the best poke I have ever had. The poke here set the bar for my other poke restaurant visits.
I like the way you pay for it first then they call your number and you can pack your bowl with extra toppings. It is well worth the price and wait in line!

“I’ve been to other Ohana’s it’s always been a good meal, this place isn’t any different.I just had 4 spam musubi’s and 2 chicken musubi’s. All were delicious and filling for the lunch hour. I weil suggest “easy rice” for less rice and the chicken/spam were cooked/sauced perfectly.I’d definitely come back and try their other menu items.“

“We found this place because we were in the area and gave it a chance. It's a traditional Poke spot. You write down what you want on their little menue sheet hand it to them, when it's ready you go up pay and pick it up. The food was pretty good. Tasted fresh. The dinning area was decent and clean, we chose to eat outside because thier a/c was a bit to cold for us. The service staff needs some improvements. They answer questions as if the customer is annoying them, it was hard understanding what they said because they all talk under thier breath 🤷🏼‍♀️ when asked to please repeat, they get annoyed and repeat it in a tone. Aside from that this spot is a good place for lunch.“

“Brings back memories. I lived in Hawaii and eaten at L&L Hawaiian BBQ many times. So my expectations were a bit high and displaced did not disappoint. I ordered the mixed grill and it was delicious. The meat and macaroni were excellent. The white rice was white rice. Definitely taste at the food I had in Hawaii. If I had one negative view, it would be the price, $17 for the plate, but I guess it’s a sign of inflation in this economy.“

“I was there on Sunday, I have been here numerous times but today my family decided they wanted to try it out. At arrival we were greeted by 2 guys, then Jose greeted us and seeing that we were really indecisive he offer us various options, but he also recommended their new grill fish aloha. So we ordered some and he was not wrong when he said it was pretty good, thanks to all the kitchen staff and thank you very much Jose for your help and patience. “Ordered the Hawaiian BBQ mix for delivery. Giant portion (see picture), one large chicken piece, one large piece of the short ribs and a decent size portion of the BBQ Beef. This was my first time eating Hawaiian bbq outside of Hawaii and the chicken was spot on, the ribs were delicious as well, both super tender, juicy and packed with flavor.Never had the beef before and it's just not my taste. Too greasy for me.The meal comes with 2 scoops of regular white rice and a serving of pasta salad.Pasta salad was not as sweet as most places and just a light amount of mayo. Overall decent.The fresh mix side salad comes with a light ginger dressing (yellowish color), that reminds me of the dressings that often are served at sushi spots.For utensils they gave me a spoon and a fork, no knife, which made it inconvenient to eat the large pieces of meat. Also, my fountain drink was missing, but that could've been the Uber drivers fault, so no deduction for that.“

“I had lunch here with a friend the other day. My friend considers this to be one of her favorite restaurants. She likes the food, and the atmosphere. I agree with her; it was good. I had the Chinese salad. It's a bed of lettuce with shredded chicken and fried wanton wrappers as croutons with a teriyaki sauce. If you are a fan of Hawaiian cuisine, this is the place for you.“

“This place is very delicious. I received the Lemon Pepper Tilapia. Prices are very reasonable. Customer Service was great! The only thing I disliked was the Sriracha provided.
