“Great place. Wide variety of Craft Beer from local highly rated breweries such as Green Cheek (one of my favorites). Service from all staff on point, always willing to assist with beer related questions, if not too familiar with the craft life, Stephen is always helpful and pleasant. If you prefer something off beer, the sake margarita is a must.“
“Super cool little spot! Not much people there when we went because there wasn't a game going on. However we still had fun. We played billiards and darts, and the owners were super friendly and helped us out with how to play. Everyone else there was friendly as well. When we are back in the area we'll be back again!“
“It was very pleasant. Walking into a friendly neighborhood. Chill out bar. Music was good. It was not a young crowd. It was a crowd of 35 years plus. Very friendly, easy-going group of people quite social and relaxed. I had a great time I would highly advise for a good time to just go chill out and have a few cold ones. I will be revisiting. a cornhusker myself. I truly enjoyed the folks.“
“Dive Bar with a lot of heart there's a level of respect here you may not see (hear) at other "dive bar" style places. It's hard to find a spot where peoples actions still respect the space of others. Come! Steve makes Thee best Michelada BTW!!“
“AltaEats offers a culinary journey with highs and lows. This was my second visit to AltaEats. The first time was a 5 out 5. This visit offered inconsistency in both food and service. The salads (burrata and caesar) at AltaEats were a standout, offering fresh and flavorful combinations. Make sure to the delicious bacon-wrapped dates; a delightful blend of sweet and savory. The rib eye was okay. It didn't quite live up to our expectations. The bread & butter and pot de creme were both delicious. We fought over the lest bits of the desert. The service was a mixed. One waitress, notably wearing a provocative necklace, left much to be desired in terms of friendliness and professionalism. On the other hand, the second waitress provided exceptional service, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant dining experience AltaEats offers a culinary adventure with standout dishes and a mix of service experiences. Your experiences may vary. They did for me.“
“OHHHHMMMMGGGGEEEE this is the bar for me!!! When I first walked in the spider stomp immediately caught my eye. Being a 16 time world champion spider stomper i felt alive again for the first time in 35 years. I got really tired after about 14 hours of play and hopped into the jacuzzi in the back and lit up a dart. I started to get hungry so I ordered a charcuterie board and some oysters to the jacuzzi through the mobile app. Wednesdays are Warhammer Wednesdays where everyone brings their 40K setup, such a tight community. I'm not much of a drinker, but they have a stellar collection of exotic kratom selections (as well as some performance enhancing pills if you know who to ask, will keep you bricked up for days lmao). Well anyways, I had a pretty good time and I'm glad to see Glendora clean up a bit in recent years :)“
“Staff that cares! Great place. Wonderful food. Seems lately customer service is a thing of the past. NOT here. The staff if Friendly, they accommodate seating requests if possible. I get cold , so not sitting outside or by the door makes for a better dining experience. They do keep the door open for outside diners, which can be chilly for those on the inside. They are very knowledgeable in wine selection and know how to pair well with the entrées.One super bonus, lots of gluten free selections!!!Dietary restrictions: They offer many tasty gluten and vegetarian options. I'm neither, but my sister is gluten sensitive, and this was a fav of hers.“
“This place is amazing. My friend made reservations for us about a month in advance. We were seated right away. We had the options of either seafood or beef menu. We choose the beef menu. This is my first dining experience so I was looking forward to everything. This was a unique 12 course experience and the staff here did an amazing job. Every item that came out was very good. Tucked inside a hotel you wouldn't know about this place but I am glad my friend found it. We now made it a yearly thing to come back here and have dinner here now“
“Great neighborhood spot. Stopped in for pre-dinner drinks on a Saturday evening. It seemed like everyone knew each other and was having a chill time watching the NCAA tourney. My whiskey sour was just right, and at $6, an absolute steal. My friends showed up soon after, and all enjoyed their drinks. Would definitely come back if in the area.“
“Came here for a quick beer. Place is your typical dive bar, good music cold beer at the right price. Music and TV screens all around. They also serve food, can be a bit of a wait, but those wings are fire.Service was good and for a bar, you really can't ask for a cleaner look. Definitely coming back.“
“Can't believe it's taken me this long to discover this sushi spot. Sushi and dishes are on point! It's fresh and creative!Service is prompt and polite. The decor is clean, traditional Japanese. There's a small outdoor area. Would definitely be going back. Next time, I want to try their omakase.“
“It has been awhile since I have ate here. The staff was friendly, helpful and attentive. Food was ok. Servings are huge. My mom and I shared scallops, chicken, a steak skewer, rice, cheese toast, cabbage salad and slaw. The plate could have easily been shared amongst 3 people. Food quality was ok. Coming here is an experience. My daughter was stunned about the peanuts part. Lol. Definitely an experience for her.“
“My friend and i came here on Christmas Day and i was so glad they were open.Andrew is our bartender and he was very attentive to all our orders. He made every drink we ordered and they were actually very satisfying. The portions were all right and they tasted exactly as how they should.Food choices were limited to chips but there is a satisfying amount of entertainment from dart boards, a jukebox and a pool table. The patrons that come here are pretty mellow and not like the crazy loud obnoxious crowds that I run into at some bars. You can go for a smoke in the back where there are tables, chairs and ashtrays to use.The restrooms were clean and well maintained.Lots of parking in the back through Wells Fargo Bank.“
“We came to this place since it was in the Halloween 3 Season of the Witch film. We came here on a bus tour and also for an event called Drinks with Tom Atkins. Very cool bar and they celebrate their place in movie history! If you're in Sierra Madre, check this place out. We even got t-shirt souvenirs.“
“I’m a fan. Lots of history here. This was also a filming location for the movie Bad Santa. The hotel IS haunted. But I don’t believe it is yet operational again. The Mayan is and it’s a really cool place. The staff is super friendly and engaging as well. Be sure to walk around and check out the pictures on the wall. Yes! They are from the 30s and 40s. Welcome to Old Route 66.“
“went to barros around 240pm got the individual antipasto salad. and to my surprise it was huge and tastes delicious. also a beer on tap. I've been coming here as a kid since the 90's. It's been threw alot of cosmetic changes threwout the years but GOT DAMN!!! the pizzas and salads are beyond incredible. whenever I need a good pizza and/or salad. my number 1 pick. is Barros pizza over all corporate pizza places. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.the pizza pics are from a previous order a week ago for takeout.another recommendation is to always get your pizza well done. if your into a good crispy pie! ? ? ? ? ?“
“I forgot to take a picture but the food was delicious. I ordered the quesabirria tacos (comes with 3 & the meat juice) and a jamaica and they both were good. The agua frescas come in the big margarita schooner glasses. Not sure if they have free refills but I don't think so. I liked my tacos crunchy so I asked for them well. The chips were crunchy and not stale, the guac taste fresh. The waiter was attentive and checked on us a few times. Overall it was a good experience.Parking: It's in a shopping center and there is plenty of parking.“
“This is third time here, and so far all I've tried is great. Today I had the taco Tuesday special, three fish tacos for $5, and it does not disappoint. I've also had the beef and chicken taquitos, and they are stacked. Can't complain. They also serve complimentary chips and salsa. The drinks are good. It's clean, and great service. Give it a try if you're hungry. And try to stop by on a Tuesday for the specials.Parking: Parking lot in the back. And street parking.“
“Wow, what a find as we were traveling from Vegas to LA! 4 adults, one 3 yr old! We all loved it! The margaritas were the best we had in a few days, even after being in Vegas!, tasted like top shelf, but it was their house margaritas! The Carnitas were absolutely delicious, caldo de res delicious, quesofundido was amazing, soft tacos with Carnitas incredible,Chicken Mole was to die for, and my granddaughters kids bean & cheese burrito was eaten with out a peep, my Carnitas with a side of tomatillo sauce was out of this world! This would be my regular go to weekly cuz it's just that good! Seriously! This place checks all the boxes, service is awesome as well!!!!!“
“Let me start by saying this is one of my favorite bars the service is phenomenal Chris big Mike Joanna best friend and the new girl Chantel aka Alex is amazing the bar is extremely clean staff is friendly and know what you like for me it’s like a 4.5 out of 5 but 100% will be a 5 if they had twisted tea thank you 626 bar for a good time all the time“
“Came for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Had to try the Mango Michelada which was delicious. Then the bartender Annette made me her own version of the Mango Michelada that was even better. Annette made us feel comfortable right away. It's a small bar but has a very fun and welcoming atmosphere. Came on a week night which wasn't too busy. Definitely have to come back on the weekend or karaoke night.“
“Great bar to visit for a chill afternoon with friends. This bar das an old school feel, with drop down tin ceiling and and the smell of old cigarettes. The bartender is super nice and very knowledgeable. Music isn't too loud and if you'd rather they have outdoor seating. Parking is plentiful on the street or parking lot near by.“
“I love this bar & everyone in it.. We love you Nancy , Kim , Greenie , & Melissa aka the bartenders . Helen every Wednesday & Friday for karaoke is the best around . Bobby V. & FISH every other Saturday for live acoustic sounds are a real treat and anyone else who feels like getting up there to do a song are welcome to do so. We have Tina in the kitchen cooking it up just about every Wednesday and Friday and everything she puts together is yummy! LAST but not least we have Gary the Owner , he is totally sweet as can be. The price is right . The cheapest place to drink anywhere i know and drinks are just right not watered down. They have a pool table and a juke box as well. So there's a lot going on at the "G" And to ALL our friends who come there whatever day of the week it's always fun , no matter who's here. Everyone's welcome at the Grand.“
“We celebrated my mom's birthday by doing a surprise breakfast for her. They were able to accommodate our party and plus a few extra last minute add ons. They ade sure our coffee cups were never empty, the food came out to us hot and without mistakes. Everything was yummy! They even sliced the cake with brought. So appreciate their service with a smile!“
“Just had their pho again and it's delicious. The service was fast and attentive. He did a great job considering he's the only server this morning. The place is super clean and that's a plus. A little high for a pho place but, it's so worth it. If you're looking for a good clean broth and delicious pho, this is the place for it... doesn't matter the cost.“
“I was in town staying at the hotel next door. And we ate at El Torito 2 nights in a row - for Happy Hour. The food was great but the service by Natalie, was beyond exceptional! She has a great personality, she was amazingly accurate, and food was delivered on time. What made the service so exceptional was that we had about 17-20 people each night. We highly recommend El Torito. To me, I will miss it, as it felt like a home away from home. Thank you Natalie.“
“This is our favorite go to place in the neighborhood The food is always delicious and a little adventuresome. The chef likes to change up the menu frequently and there are some favorites that are always there. I love the tuna tartare tacos. But he also makes duck confit, bouillabaise, bone marrow. Their happy hour is great where you can have a taste of lots of fabulous small plates. If you like oysters, there is always a selection of very fresh offerings. Love this place!!“
“You looking for a good time with good music and and enjoy load talk and hard laugh with friend and my like to enjoy a pool table game well r,s place is the dive bar you want to dive head first in weather it's just stoping by for a beer after work or you group of friends want to go hard on the bottles this the spot to go and let out the work week or conversate on the crazy life you been having r's place is your place to let your freak flag fly.Parking: In the ally way back of bar entrance is there too“
“This is a local gem. I definitely recommend Britestar Tavern.??Great spot for a legit pint. From fresh craft beers to domestic specials they got you covered. Cool, chill vibe with great draft beer on tap. Pool table, live music on Tuesday nights, Monday night Paint night. ????Props to Bianca for the great service. This place is the real deal.Thank you Britestar Tavern. ??“
“Yeah it's an English Pub but man can they turn into an Irish Pub when it's St.Payricks Day. We had a great time and even though you had to wait in line it went fast. Food was great with the traditional corn beef and cabbage and the corn beef was like butter to the fork. Amazing. And we also had fish and chips. That fish was crispy on the outside and a fat white portion of fish on the inside. And you know I had to put malt vinegar on it. The waiter suggested Guinness with a mixture of Framboise which is a raspberry Belgium beer I love. It worked great. This is my favorite quiet Lucky Baldwins and then if you want a higher energy head to Old Town Pasadena to that Lucky Baldwin. They both are great.“
“Apologies for not taking any photos but trust me when I say that the owner really cares about the dishes he puts out. As a sushi chef, he is a kind man who cares about the opinions of his customers. My sister and I decided to try the place out and we're pleasantly surprised by the kindness and the taste of the food.As for food, we ordered some sushi rolls, sashimi, and sashimi salad. The salad was my sister's favorite dish since the veggies paired well with the fatty taste of the fish. So fresh and lovely. A good balance of fish to salad. The dressing is what made it amazing for me. Gently drizzled with a sweet yet salty flavor made the dish really come together. As sushi goers we typically aren't fond of sashimi, usually when we go to sushi places, it has an odd aftertaste. But not this time. The sweet sauce made the tender fish melt into my mouth! I couldn't get enough of it. (I just kept eating and forgot to take pictures!) The sushi rolls were also delicious! Just enough to make you full and want to come back for more. What was best about this place really was the owner speaking with us. Initially when we walked in, there was no one to greet us and hardly anyone inside. So we thought the restaurant was closed. Although we saw an employee there so luckily we were able to be seated. After eating, the chef/owner came up to us to ask us a couple questions about the food and our experiences with Japanese dishes. We had a long discussion and ended up with more than just a happy meal, but with a good experience. The reason for this being 4 stars is because we did have to search for a host to seat us. And the selection menu didn't differentiate than many other sushi places. We did talk with the owner and gave him some ideas of how this could change so more clientele would stop by.(Also the name of this restaurant has changed. They only serve sushi and sashimi now, there's no BBQ anymore)“
“In the world of trendy venues chasing the latest trend, there is a lone hero - Colorado Bar. For over 50 years this place has seen generations of drinkers. Fair warning: you will not like this place if you are not local, so tourists beware! “
“I live literally around the corner from this bar my first time stopping in like the atmosphere for the most part the people are very friendly I forget our bartender's name but she was pretty awesome I think I would make this my bar of choice“
“Went there for the first time. Invited by the band Later Daze. My Fiancé and I really loved the place. Everything excellent!!! We will return soon. Food was delicious too! Taco bar.Parking: We found a empty spot right across the entrance of the building.“
“Great atmosphere for American football lovers I got all the rules explained before the end of the first quarter. Also why the Packers wear a cheese hat. To have a place with that many Belgian beers on tap is hard to find in most European cities so... chapeau bas. ?“
“Lots of draft beer if you like draft beer no hard alcohol necessarilyLittle Joe's next door and they used to bring it to you in the bar to eat there food is good it's getting ready to open again.Diomand pool tables are nice.Good music system.“
“A very sophisticated restaurant. All at the highest level. The waiters know the menu very well and the composition of the products in each dish. For us it was important because there are some allergies. The service was fast, everything was very tasty, I recommend to visit“
“This is my first time at this establishment. Bartenders were on point with their drinks. They were friendly and sociable. They were pretty busy for a late Sunday night. I haven't tried the food, but I hear the wings are delicious. I was told to make sure I asked for the gem sauce. I will definitely be going back to try some of their items on that menu and looking forward to my future visits... perhaps play some darts and pool.. oh , and bartender Kenny knows his stuff.!!!“
“The problem was they didn't know anything about the open table rewards certificate and couldn't honor it. They offered a desert but we didn't need it. The music was very loud and the video's on the TV are not family friendly. How can you bring children or some adults to watch half naked ladies dancing and “humphing” on the video at dinner hour?? Maybe at later night but not at 7:00pm! The food was good and now that they take reservations is a plus“
“If I can give this place a 10/10 I definitely would ! Maria , Richard, Mark and Alex are the best ! They always have exceptional service ! They allowed me to have a pride party two years in a row and also host my birthday party ! If you love cheap drinks and great vibes , shadys is where it's at ! Shaadys!“
“They host a paint night! If your into oldies and painting with a little bit of drinks alone or with a partner, make sure to sign up for paint night only 40$ per person! First timer but the drinks are amazing with a great nice and sexy bartender the ambiance is great and i can only imagine what the food will taste like! Definitely will be returning.“
“Love how you can buy food from Whole Foods salad bar and come in and enjoy it at Shuffle Bar. It's connected to Whole Foods, so it makes sense. It's never crowded, and there's a decent size t.v where you can watch sports games and get a cold adult beverage. You can order food from the Shuffle Bar menu as well. It might be a better option, especially for hot items. It will be served warm and fresh.“
“the place it self is nice, as we entered, the security personnel asked every woman with a purse if she had anything liquid to consume in it, which i thought was done in a less than professional manner and not one male was asked the same question.....it's just as easy to conceal something in you pocket, maybe just a smaller item. during my more than 3 hours there, the same security personnel would stand in the doorway and look in on us....odd. lastly the female bar staff was kind of rude and the drinks were WAY OVER PRICED.“
“I like going to the tanampa. Becouse its never that jam pack i lik to shoot pool there everone that there minds there own bissiness doing there own thing at the bar .wieghters treat you with respect . noone disrespect you unless hou dont show respect for your self .“
“It's not called the Mariposa anymore it's called Maricios . They have excellent food with a wide variety of food. From authentic Mexican to pizza and hamburgers. Something for everyone. Great prices too. Would recommend it with a 5 out of 5 star rating.“
“This was our third or fourth time eating here. We have done both lunch and dinner. Food is really delicious and presentation is fantastic. Location is untraditional as it's in the lobby of a guest hotel on the hospital grounds, but the food makes up for it. The outside patio provides stunning views of the San Gabriel mountains.“
