“First things first. I grew up around the area so this shopping center is very familiar to me. About this Chinese food joint, I'm 30 years old and ever since Im able to have a memory I can remember eating this Chinese food. Of course it has gone threw it's ups n downs and of course it will have drama out in the parking lot do to it being in the area that it's in. But back to this joint, I've seen many food spots come n go from this center but never has this restaurant been in trouble of shutting down, sure once in 30 yrs they must of had a bad grade for one reason or another but I can tell you for sure is that the food is exactly what you expect from a fast food Chinese spot. Noodles are thick and juicy. Fried rice is as fried and juicy as you expect. Prices have gone up like everything else in life. Back then I remember 5 dollars got you a 2 side combo. Now it's around 7ish bucks a 2 side combo. Recommend the chicken on a stick with sauce. Like I said I've known this place as long as I've known Compton swapmeet but thats gone already and this spot is still here. Don't let a few Asian immagrsntd spoil your Chinese plate remember all races have attitudes and this place has real Asians working there. Let me just add i have never known the real name of this spot and never cared or bothered on knowing it. Those that know this place simply know it as the Chinese spot on Atlantic that's how good it is. like I said it's been open since the 90s so a bad review from new customers really won't cover the thousands of happy belly's like me. I'm heading there tomorrow as a matter a fact. I'm also a fan of it's sister spot on Rosecrans got started way after this one but same style same people same service same deliciousness!! Not a paid actor nor will I be compassionated for my review. Just glad this place is still around.“

“I love trying new vegan places but finding a new one where you would least expect, is awesome! Showed up around noon and the place was empty. The employees were really courteous and helpful and recommended a few items I should try which made ordering an easy choice. We (family of 5) ended up ordering 2 Chinese combo plates and a taco plate (one of each). Took about 15-20 min to make which isn’t too bad considering I didn’t call ahead. The Chinese food was good but the Taco plate was excellent!!! Definitely going back to try out more of the Mexican dishes. Plenty of parking.“

“Ruiji is a great visit for authentic Sichuan cuisine. They have some of the normal western dishes, but also some more authentic items you wouldn’t find at other Chinese restaurants. My friend got the General Tso and it was good, but a little on the sweet side for me. I prefer more savory and spicy when I order this dish. I got the Sichuan Popcorn Chicken. It was nice and spicy, salty, and savory with garlic and a nice amount of sichuan pepper and red chilis. I hope to try other dishes when I visit again.“

“It was love at first bite, went to try this spot cuz the other spot closed down. Ordered Chow Mein with Veggies, Kung Pao Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Broccoli Beef, Walnut Shrimp, and some fried rice. Everything was so bomb, each food had its own flavor yet could feel it's fresh. Place kinda threw me off with how empty it was but people bought their food to go. “my bf love spicy beef noodles, we went to a few places already but this place tasted the best so far. the texture of the noodles were good and the flavor of the broth wasn't too overwhelming. the golden chicken noodle soup was also very good and light. we got chili oil dumplings and those were amazing.“

That is, if I don't choose Mongolian beef.Peking duck-Love that crispy skin! The Peking duck was succulently decadent. The meat was unctuous with all the duck fat, and when paired with baos, vegetables & sauce, a filling & satisfying entree.Curry chicken-Normally I don't order curry dishes, as most restaurants (usually Thai) serve curry with more potatoes than protein. Here, at Happy Bee, I'm delighted to say their curry chicken was predominantly chicken. Oh so tender chicken! The bell peppers & curry provided a good amount of heat, enhanced by the addition of chili oil on my part. Really good!Service has been excellent. The staff have always been hospitable & cheerful the times I've been at Happy Bee. A good amount of seating via tables & booths, with 1 large banquet table w/ a Lazy Susan. Parking is at the 99 Ranch Plaza, with Happy Bee located next to It's Boba Time & Let's Sea Bag n' Roll at the southside of the plaza.Wonderful food, wonderful people. Happy Bee Kitchen is one of my favorite places to eat weekly. I'm having a delightful time exploring their menu, and am looking forward to what culinary delight awaits me next. Highly recommend!“

“Ordered the non-spicy beef noodle soup (hand-cut) and added my own level of heat. Nice broth. Wish I had seen their cold drinks lineup before getting my green tea order from the bakery. “So first of all the pork chops are a must soft tender but well crusted and well seasoned outside with jalapeño and garlic just yummy. Another favorite is the mangolian beef cooked to perfection the goes perfect with white rice . “That place was good and food is best. Customers service is best. I wish most place followed their way. The manager only control and seat people take money. He tell the other worker take the order in side. Some place the manger is worker, sometimes he is chief. This place they know their role.“

“It's always the places tucked away in a corner that are the best. You would never see this place from the main road unless you go into the business park. I've only been once and tried the orange peel chicken with fried rice. They forgot my fried rice and gave me white rice but I live near by and they were quick to fix it when I came back. The quality and taste of the food keeps this a 5 star. The chicken didn't taste cheap or full of salt and didn't upset my stomach after like other places. I would surely come back!“

“This hole in the wall Taiwanese food is so surprised ? and authentic, no joke it’s authentic! And good! If you know what’s Taiwanese food is then you’ll so happy you tried them food ! ! Even if you’re in Taiwan you can’t find food this good often. We had large intestine, stinky tofu , oyster omelette, smoked pork tongue, braised pork rice and braised beef noodle. “I've been coming here for the last 5 years. The portions are great and the soups are to die for. My go-to soup is the Liuzhou soup. Just a heads up, the establishment definitely caters to a majority Chinese crowd, so you know the food is legit. Be respectful and keep an eye out for your order number as they will probably announce it in Mandarin first lol“

Your choice soup hot and sour or egg roll and a can of soda or a. bottle of water.We are talking generous portions. $12 and change. I also don’t understand why they open up at 11 when they serve dim sum…dim sum is a breakfast food and should be served around breakfast time. The orange chicken is amazing especially because they give you big chunks of chicken unlike other Chinese restaurants where it’s more breading than chicken.If you are in a rush call ahead or else you’ll be waiting awhile. “I met my friend here for lunch as it is one of his go-to places for Tawainese/Chinese homestyle food. He ordered us a good amount of things to try - including the Three Cups Chicken, Stinky Tofu, pork spare ribs, Tawainese sausage and buns, and veggies. “Finally tried this new dumpling spot on second street. I had to call and check if they were safe for me due to my peanut allergy and luckily they were very accommodating and able to remove peanuts from any items that had the warning. I really appreciate them accommodating to the allergy since I have noticed a lot of places now don't want to take responsibility and just suggest you not eat there. I am so happy I got to try the food, as we thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered and had leftovers since they were generous portions. Happy to have this new addition in Belmont shore!“

“I hadn't been here for many years until last weekend (April 6th). And I am so glad we found it again. We went there specifically to celebrate our son's 49th birthday at his request. The selection of dim som was very large AND very good; some of the best I've ever had. There were 9 of us & each of us found a selection to suit our desires, & as noted, each & every choice was better than the last. There were the usual dumplings & veggie choices but also a large selection of stuff I never saw before (& can't spell) like tripe & chicken feet. I can go on & on but needless to say, EVERYONE was satisfied to the nth degree. Service was attentive, friendly & knowledgeable. The eating environment was bright & clean; nothing outstanding, but you don't eat ambiance as I'm fond of saying. Some of the places that the late Johnathan Gold of the LA Times loved were real dives. This place didn't fall into that category but it was more than acceptable. “I was in the area viewing apartments, so I decided to locate a new pho place. This place is spacious, pretty quiet so I enjoyed that. I ordered the steak and brisket pho, I have to start by saying this was the BEST brisket I’ve had in a pho. It was not fatty at all, and super tender but not dry!If you follow me on here, you know the type of pho I like. This one was clean and packed a little flavor. I wouldn’t say it’s the best I’ve had, but the brisket was unmatched. The noodles were fresh and intact too. — On the downside, I ordered the salt & pepper shrimp, but I didn’t like it. I ate one, and they still charged me for it. Not the best customer service I’d prefer, and they asked me about it. So I just thought they’d take care of me. Anyway, I’d go back for the pho if I’m in the area. Also, I want to try the fried rice based off the pics.“

“Abundant amount of food. The chowmein isn’t like any ordinary spot, it’s more like a chicken stir fried and is bomb. The rice is decent but the sides are amazing. The parking directly in front can be a problem but there is more parking offered further down into the shopping center.The staff is nice and friendly. “We got there during Busy Busy lunch time on Sat. We barely sat at the table at the entrance. I was not feeling comfy. The customers passed right our table at the door. No relax this time. We got the menu for special lunch. Small portion w less expensive. We ordered fried dumplings, chicken w lobster sauce, and chicken kungpao. The foods were delivered so fast even thou they had lots of Take out orders. I liked the fried dumplings, Juicy and crunchy. For the chicken kungpao, I give 3 stars, missing something. Spicy but not really flavorful. The chicken pieces are too small, I couldn't taste the chicken. We both liked chicken w lobster sauce, mild, so creamy, soft shrimps w lots of veggies. I give 4 stars. Overall, I was not relaxed due to the corner of the entrance. People and the staff bothered me. However, I want more fried Dumplings. Today's best was fried dumplings.“

“Their Seafood Noodle soup is the best ? it's made fresh and has lots of vegetables like I request. If you like the shrimp and fish, they will always accommodate with more of the meat. I prefer more veggies. I've gone to them since 2019 during the pandemic, and they're great with the freshly cooked items.“

The broth flavor is delicate but complex enough to be filling on its own. The wontons are not over cooked nor are any veggies, meat or shrimp ?. Exactly what I was looking for AND at a great price. I also got a BBQ Pork skewer and veggie eggrolls which are also on point.
