“This place is great and something I've been wanting to try for awhile and glad I didn't finally.

I had their barbacoa tacos guisados which was very tender and with cheese added. Their salsa bar added a lot to flavor to it and the barbacoa was very tender. Their chikali taco comes with beans and guacamole and I got it with carne asada. The asada was charred very well and seasoned very well also. The beans went well with it and were not soggy. The staff was very nice and helpful in describing what was available, popular, recommended and what they thought it should have.

There's some seating next to their shop which is convenient. Their agua frescas was very good also according to my friend. It was his favorite place so far when I took him the multiple taco joints in east LA.

This is only Thai restaurant in East L.A but not sure but you have travel to Monterey Park or Alhambra to get some Thai cuisine. We enjoy Thai cuisine because we know everything made fresh and using fresh ingredients. We notice Chili & Lemon Have be come very popular with Latino communities in East L.A. “4 of us ate at the new Craft at LA Live but I can't find it here so recommending them on the Pasadena location. This was the second night they had been open last Saturday. Service was outstanding. Judy did a terrific job taking care of us and the head chef and owner cam by to welcome us. Food was outstanding too. Great place.“

Their wagyu cuts are 100% top-grade and not just random "wagyu" that are below the marks. We tried their A5 and M9 meats, not to mention their salmon carpaccio that is to die for. Their sides are absolutely delicious and smart, one great example is their fried pork buns that is like a spin on soup dumplings. To top it off, you get premium ice cream in the end. Their salad is so good with yuzu and smokey salt, plus you get a chili mix too. “Delicious food! Ordered the pulled pork sandwich and BBQ ribs. The ribs slid off the bones and were finger-licking good. The coleslaw was crispy and not slathered in mayonnaise and the Mac and cheese was so delicious. I don't even like mac and cheese. Will be returning.

“Nice small family owned BBQ spot tucked away on a strip mall. Open for just a short amount of time but definitely worth it. Meats are sold by pound or half pound. Sides are pretty good. There are a few lunch benches inside and small parchment paper is given per guest for dine in. Very friendly family that will gladly answer any questions or help out anyway they can plenty of free parking outside including some handicap parking

“Hanu BBQ is fantastic. I've been here three times and each time the food is great. They take reservations for large groups and there's a karaoke place right next door, for an easy night out. There are cute little robots that bring you your food too.

Nina and Mark were both amazing- very attentive and even taught us how to make somaek. Would definitely recommend this place as a great option for a group outing.“

“Came here pretty much when they opened for the day, there was already some people inside for a Saturday. When we finished eating, the restaurant was barely half full?

Food wise, the bbq meats are pretty decent cuts for what you pay for and the big shrimp we ordered is actually pretty good. They didn't have a real fishy smell, which is a plus, knowing some places just serve what they have sitting out.

There is a sauce bar with appetizers near the front of the restaurant, the bar itself is already baked into the price, there isn't any extra fee. There is also a self serve sherbet freezer with three flavors: vanilla, chocolate, and rainbow, as of writing this.

For the non grill foods, the soup and cold noodles are decently portion, definitely should split it up with others so you don't overfill. The popcorn chicken can be ordered as a half order, and to my surprise, it actually is pretty decent in terms of texture and juiciness, only downside is I wish they used some spice in the coating to give it a bit more oomph.

Overall, if I am ever in the area here, I might consider coming back when I'm looking for AYCE.“

We also had fried ice cream and the bourbon bread pudding and that was excellent! The services could use some improvements. Food and desserts were served but there was no silverware. I can't fathom that there's better Anerican style barbecue within 20 miles. It's takeout only.

All really good we also tried the kimchi loaded fries really big portion definitely a shareable portion. It was corn cheese with kimchi on the seasoned fries you can get different toppings like fried chicken or bulgogi but just the fries by themselves were super good so we went without all the extra.
