“Great HaloHalo! I really enjoyed it even after I received it through delivery. Came in a large cup with all the good mixings and layers of shaved ice, milk (your choice of 2% or oat), various sweetened beans, jellys, tapioca pearls, fruits and topped off with a scoop of ube ice cream.

Chicken adobo bomb has a flaky crust similar to a croissant on the outside filled with shredded chicken seasoned as adobo. It wasn’t bad. I enjoyed this flavored bomb better than the corned beef bomb.

Corned beef bomb is the same crust as above. The inside is just corn beef and potatoes. I found the corned beef to be lacking flavor and it just tasted plain overall. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good either? It was just meh.

I really enjoyed their crinkle cookies. I order strawberry and lemon. It was bigger than I thought they would be. I loved how the cookie was crispy on the outside and very fluffy in the middle. It was super good coated with powdered sugar.

I was excited to try their guava strudel as I love the guava rolls from Portos. These ones from Kape were amazing. I love that they sprinkle sugar on top of the crust to give it a bit more crunch.

Ube cupcake with the flan on top wasn’t quite hitting for me. The cupcake itself was really dry and the flan is not flan without the caramel sauce. You can taste the ube, but the cupcake itself received was really dry.“

Ordered a matcha latte w/ strawberry foam and the biscoff latte. They were delicious and rich, not watered down at all. They do actually whisk the matcha and whip their own foam.

“I've been going to Crave Coffee for quite a while now and their coffee and service never disappoints me. I've met both the owner and their child who works here. They both have wonderful personalities and are very inviting, even on busy days! I can tell that the owner takes a lot of pride and passion in their business and service they give to our community. 🩷

I haven't tried their food because I have a gluten-allergen. The only available gluten-free food they have available are cookies (made by another supportive small business). Hopefully one day they'll at least have gluten-free bagels lol!

As for the pricing, you can't really complain about it. It's out of our control, and their control. Everywhere you go, a cup of coffee/boba is going to cost you nearly $8-10 these days (which is crazy!). But you can't blame these small businesses since this is their life and trying to make a living. Other than that, their coffee is far better than Starbucks, Dutschbros, and Klatch! “Nicest family-owned donut shop in Upland. We are so glad that they are still open. This donut shop is following all of the COVID-19 health protocols. Their delicious donuts really brightened up our day. We could not wait to get their doughnuts home, warm them up and devour them along with coffee and milk. ??“

“Patsy is a great conversationalist, and her chicken pies are the best ever! If you like a bit of spice up then try her homemade habanero sauce. Just a couple drops gives it the delicious habanero nip!

“*worth it long wait time* we came on a Saturday morning and waited 40 min but they were packed and busy which you know the food would be good. I grabbed a table out front of city hall a half block away. The service is awesome, she came outside to take my order and payment since I had my dog with me. They've expanded their menu and clientelle, so yes it's more busy.

“I have known about Nancy‘s for quite some time because it is one of the famous diners that are dotted along former Route 66. There are many in the area and I would say that Nancy May’s is one of the better ones. We stopped in for our first time this past weekend and had a really nice experience. It was our server’s first day on the job and she was extremely sweet and did a great job and so did the kitchen. Everything that we ordered came out very fast and just as we requested. It’s in a small shopping center so there is plenty of free parking right in front. They don’t have any outdoor seating and inside is pretty small but in a cozy way.

For our first visit, we wanted to start with some of their bakery items so we chose the Cinnamon Roll and the Coffee Cake. They were pretty good, but you could tell they were not homemade and were very cakey. The store bought pastries never seem to be as good as homemade to me. This was not my favorite part of the meal. For my breakfast, I chose the Country Fried Steak and thought it was fantastic. It was not overly cooked and the eggs were done perfectly, I was a big fan of the dish overall. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone searching for a great diner or to anyone looking for a casual breakfast or lunch option.“
