This is a hidden gem in El Cajon, California, 32 minutes away from Marine Corps Recruit Depot. Edward's Cinema is right next door, eat and then go watch a movie or something or just come and eat.“

“We stopped at Hana Sushi on Jamacha Road while driving back to Texas, and we’re so glad we did! Everything we ordered was fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of amazing flavor. The menu had a great variety, and every dish exceeded our expectations. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and provided outstanding service. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and made for a perfect stop during our trip. If we’re ever back in the area, Hana Sushi will definitely be one of our first stops. Highly recommended!“

“We came in as a group of 4 for AYCE and loved it. The waiter was super accommodating-got the sauces, water, and other millions things we requested. The rolls came out quick and they were indeed filling. I’m nauseous but only as a consequence of gluttony. Not in a food poisoning way. :) The AYCE menu is huge so you’ll definitely find at least a few items to enjoy. The place is casual and not too quiet. I’d definitely come back.“

“I didn't have the sushi, maybe next time. I went with the chicken curry katsu, spicy. The flavor was very good but I think they forgot to make it spicy. I didn't detect any spice to it. They have a nice selection of craft brews on tap and the service was very friendly. Overall I liked this place and will go again.“

“It is my favorite ramen place, I always come here to socialize with friends, and I love how spacious it is. Even on a busy day it doesn't feel cramped up. Their food is excellent, both ramen and sushi.“
