“Came here for a work luncheon. The ambiance is really nice. Very decorative. The service was great. I ordered the lobster enchiladas. It was good but a little bland.
When they brought out the food, they brought 1 of 5 entrees. After about 10 mins, they brought 3 more entrees. Unfortunately, I was the last one who had to wait for their food and I’m the slowest eater. I think it’s better to bring everyone’s dishes at the same time. I understand that they could be short staffed and they wanted the food to get out to the customer hot and fresh.
The prices are pretty too expensive for me. Every item was about $30+. It’s definitely not a place I’d just grab lunch for work. I think this place is best for a work luncheon or date.“

“Love this place, the food is fantastic, very much a taqueria. The Cameron’s taco are fantastic. Everyone that works there are really friendly, you can tell they like it there because it is the same faces.

They moved in and painted the place bright pink. They replaced another favorite that was not able to survive COVID.

If you get take out, check you got your chips, they love to leave those out of your bag. 5 stars if not for the many bags of missing chips.“

“Mixiote is a hidden gem in San Francisco. I have eaten here more times than I can count, and the food is always delicious, consistent, and a great value. The staff and owner are also wonderful. I'm a human going on 3 cylinders compact hybrid so my numbers don't necessarily reflect the rest of people's. Their habanero sauce is really poppin'- just do it if you're experienced with spicy flavors cause it stings. They give you a nice cold glass of water complimentary to your food. Appreciated the music 🎶, and the amazing customer service. This was the loftiest fanciest breakfast burrito of my life. I had one, and you should have one too!

Tonight I put in a phone order, as I have many times and the order was taken carelessly and messed up (Baja fish taco, not fish taco), so when I got home, I had to drive back up and have the meal remade, and then it was just not good. Tortillas were weirdly dry and the fish was overcooked (like, fried to the color of coffee grounds). A great neighborhood place on Fridays, will probably skip it on Mondays.“
