“We reserved a party of 13 at Bocanova for Mother's Day to celebrate my mom, aunt and grandmother.we were seated in their beautiful main dining room and I have to say that for such a difficult day for restaurants the execution was flawless. The food was delicious, we started with the empanadas, beef, shrimp and mushroom, their Peruvian classic ceviche as well as brussel sprouts and cauliflower and they were all delicious. We followed with almost one of each for main courses and we all just shared, standouts were the Lomo Saltado, whole branzino, seared scallops, Brazilian moqueca and chicken a la brasa. We're all still talking about the food, service and ambiance. What a great experience, thank you Bocanova and entire team for such a memorable dining experience, you can tell that they work as a team and it shows! Can't wait to go back.“

“An incredible dining experience from start to finish. The chips and salsa feature a unique, intriguing flavor that is absolutely delicious, and the carne asada fajitas were flawless. The staff clearly pours a lot of love, skill, and passion into their food.“

“We had two events here recently and it was a wonderful experience. The staff was great to work with, the owner and his wife were both there to make sure everything went smoothly. Their event manager was great to work with and it was a very streamlined process. The food was excellent, drinks were great, and the restaurant had fun decor. We received so many compliments on the venue and food from our attendees. We will definitely be going back for future events.“

“$$$ Best place in the city for Brazilian style grilled meats. Lovely salad bar side dishes. Do not miss the grilled pineapple. Not inexpensive. Special occasion restaurant“

“Came here for dinner. This is a Peruvian restaurant, and the menu does the classics: empanadas, anticuchos, lomo saltado, pollo a la brasa, the whole rotisserie chicken program.
The cocktails were good. We started with the empanadas, which had a lot of flavor packed into them, well seasoned, not just a pastry shell with filler. The pollo chicharrones (deep fried chicken nuggets, basically) were also solid, crispy exterior, juicy inside, properly seasoned rather than relying on dipping sauce to do the work.
For my main I got the lomo saltado. The beef was cubed and tender, and the brown sauce had real depth to it, savory without being one-note. Everything I ordered was well prepared, no notes, no surprises, just good execution across the board.
The vibe inside is laid back and a little goofy in a good way. The floor is covered in astroturf, there are decorative butterflies all over the walls (fitting, given the name), and they had the World Cup playing. It's not trying to be a serious dining room, and it doesn't need to be.
Good food, good drinks, fun room. Would come back.“

“I had such a great experience at La Esquinita and will absolutely be back.
We went for Taco Tuesday and the deal is hard to beat—2 tacos (your choice), a side, and a drink for $12.99. I got the poblano and yam tacos, half rice/half whole beans, and a horchata (that I gave to my husband) and my husband ordered a chicken burrito. Even after leaving a 20% tip, it came out to under $20 per person, which feels like an incredible value for the quality.
The staff was super friendly, and while the space is tiny, we were able to grab a cozy seat at the window which made it even more enjoyable.
The food was fresh and really flavorful. One standout for me was their red salsa—it actually had some heat without that overpowering vinegar taste you sometimes get, which I really appreciated.
Highly recommend checking them out, especially on Taco Tuesday. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to again and again.“

“1111 Solano is a new location for this restaurant. Previously near Craneway and before the pandemic in Point Richmond. Same chef, same staff, and same excellent food and service.“

“It is a small restaurant, but great in its quality, attention, service and its prices are very affordable, I recommend it for its breakfasts such as chilaquiles, eggs with chorizo and eggs Benedict's, its sound is generally attentive to all its customers, because it has a large number of regular customers.“

“We have felt lucky to live within walking distance of Casa Latina. Tonight I put in a phone order, as I have many times and the order was taken carelessly and messed up (Baja fish taco, not fish taco), so when I got home, I had to drive back up and have the meal remade, and then it was just not good. Tortillas were weirdly dry and the fish was overcooked (like, fried to the color of coffee grounds). A great neighborhood place on Fridays, will probably skip it on Mondays.“

“Mixiote is a hidden gem in San Francisco. I have eaten here more times than I can count, and the food is always delicious, consistent, and a great value. The staff and owner are also wonderful. I highly recommend the quesadilla or rice bowl with half chicken/half rajas con queso (my personal favorite).“

“I popped into Jalisco Méxican Food and had a really satisfying meal. The tacos and burritos I ordered were flavorful and felt genuinely Mexican — simple, hearty, and not overly fancy. The portions were generous for the price, and everything came out fresh with plenty of traditional toppings like salsa and lime.
The vibe is casual and laid-back, perfect for a relaxed lunch or quick dinner. It’s not a fancy sit-down spot, but the flavors and value definitely make it worth a stop if you’re craving solid Mexican comfort food. I’d go back for another round of tacos or to try some of their other classic dishes.“
“I love this place so much, great place to chill or work. Their Salvadoran horchata latte is so addictive (I have ordered nothing but it since I first went there), and if you happen to be there when Azukar has their food I highly recommend it!! Their wraps and empanadas are so flavorful and incredibly unique.“

“This place has been one of my favorites since I came but this last time I went it was not pleasant as always we ordered some enchiladas chapinas and they were older and harder I couldn't even get my teeth into the tortillas then the curtido smelled ruined l3 I said to the waitress and she didn't like my comment the yevo were the tortillas and the same chuco tanned they put them we ordered some corn tamales anyway ☹️ they were very hard and I say this seriously because I am a cook and one knows when things are not fresh that Don't mind if comments are made, it's for improvement, it's not for anyone to be ill-intentioned. If I put my business up, I'd like my clients to tell me if they don't like something.“

“Homestyle brunch options here were great! We got the eggs benedict and huevos ahogados. Highly recommend both! Seating is quite casual here, great for a quick brunch stop. Prices are much more reasonable than what brunch would otherwise cost. I'll definitely be back!“

“Heyy peeps......This place is amazing.......They got all different types of Guatemalan Food. I have been going to this place for about 10 years at least twice a month. Try out the steak plates. Parrillada Chapina, Mar y tierra & the churrasco Chapin. They all are big plates. Also the soups such as the beef soup or the chicken soup. Also they also got other varieties. The price is very reasonable.
Very recommended👌.“
