“If you love the a la carte dim-sum to-go that you can get in downtown LA's Chinatown but don't want to drive that far and have to pay for parking and deal with the traffic then this is a great compromise. A little more expensive than the options you'll find in Chinatown but I save so much more time and money going here coming from Pomona that this is my new go-to for dim-sum in a pinch.“

“Owner has great hospitality! We did have to wait for a bit since we went on a Sunday, but line moved at a reasonable pace and was organized. Food was warm though the xiu mai skin was thicker than we wanted. Highly recommend fried shrimp dumplings and steamed BBQ pork bun :) would consider go again!“

“To open a new Chinese restaurant in SGV, you better be good, or go broke. Auntie Qiu's specialities are legit. I was having lunch by myself, but I had to try their 2 specialties: the crab XLB and their pan-fried baos. Both excellent.
Order via the QR code. Faster. Or you can wait for the staff to take your order, which may take longer.“

“I’ve been wanting to try out this place in such a long time and finally bit the bullet last week. Upon reading their extensive menu, we noticed a lot of similarities with DTF but at a slightly cheaper price point , plus short wait. Everything we ended up trying was solid! The xiao long bao had thin wrappers with a rich, flavorful broth inside — definitely some of the better ones I’ve had in the SGV. The beef rolls were flaky and crispy. The lobster abalone soup stole the show — it’s visually stunning and actually packed with deep seafood flavor. The sides rounded out the meal perfectly. Garlic string beans and honey walnut shrimp were delicious. Always a hit with our family. We left SO full and happy 😁
This place does get crowded, so highly recommend visiting earlier (closer to opening time).“

“Super awesome to see more Asian food in South El Monte. South El Monte is blooming and growing center for Asian and AAPI businesses since the community has affordable real estate, accessibility, and world class high school education that can promote students going to Stanford, Harvard, MIT Engineering programs. Since Asian parents love seeing their children reach Ivy League levels and programs, there have been so many businesses starting up from boba stores to dim sum and I hope in the future, Korean Fried Chicken and more. I enjoy having a spot in the community that I can go to and enjoy dim sum options as Hong Kong (HK) style egg tarts and more. There is also a new Vietnamese and Thai restaurant in the community that took over some old failing businesses in the region. The high school boasts having Japanese and Mandarin Chinese language education which is an interest and incentive for people and nearby Asian households to move over to South El Monte.“

“Went on a Tuesday afternoon for a table of two. Service was great and attentive. Dishes came out fresh & hot, even the desserts.
Items ordered:
1. Snow cap bbq pork bun - this was the best thing we ate.
2. Cucumbers - cold, refreshing and a good flavor of black vinegar and garlic. We ordered two of these.
3. Chicken feet - meaty and good flavor, on the sweeter versus savory side though
4. Black bean spare ribs - not seasoned enough and pretty bland, would skip this
5. Shrimp rolls - honestly the worst one I ever tried. Absolutely no flavor in the filling. Recommend skipping to have room for other dishes.
6. Wagyu beef rolls - just a tad better than the shrimp rolls but would also skip
7. Taro cakes - took a while to come out but was super fresh and hot. Not bad but definitely a large order for just two.
8. Ha Gow - average, wished the mustard sauce was better, a bit watery and tasted different than what I am use to
9. Siu mai- average to good
10. Lava buns- came out warm but could be hotter, not too sweet and salty.
11. Egg tarts - average to good
12. Chicken wings with salt seasoning - tasty and came out super hot.
Overall, would come back maybe ideally with 3 people. Would skip most of the dim sum items and try the more lunch items. Dessert items here are executed pretty well. For $20 definitely easy to get moneys worth!“

“I've passed by this place many times. Sometimes there's limes of people. Always wanted to try their char siu bao. They have both steamed and baked types. I bought both types. I usually like the baked type more. But here both were good but I preferred the steamed ones more.“

“For the longest time, this was a very bad Bánh Mì Chè Cali that my friends used to love frequenting. 🙄 I hate my friends for having dragged me every time they were in town. That's why I'm SO ELATED with joy that this place has taken over! It's probably one of the cheaper dim sum options in town, and that's all they specialize in! Not a lot of seats for you to sit, but you get the idea: Take it home, and enjoy it in a familiar environment!
(。◕‿◕。) Ah...!
Are there better quality options? Maybe, but for the price and convenience, don't count these guys out!“

“Waited in the rain for about 40 minutes. Was glad this place didn't dissappoint. Beef Bowl, Dumplings, and Beef Noodles were really good. I got so full I couldn't try the Dan Dan Noodles or Spicy Beef Soup. Not pictures was the shrimp fried rice which was also tasty. Would come back again.“

“It is a drive for me, but sooo worth it. Ni c e selection of dimsum, I always order the BBQ pork bun, siomai, shrimp hargow, egg custard, and many more. Most of what I order I don't remember the names (except the ones mentioned) because they have so many items to choose from. Cleaner than most dimsum Ive been to before. Prices have gone up (a little) since Covid, but the flavor has not changed. A once a month treat for me and the kids or whenever I watch Disney's BAO. And... they take cards now, not just Cash. Yeay!!“

“This restaurant was a go to place for my mom in the early morning cuz it opened at 8 am. The dim sums was decent but it lacked varieties so choices were limited. Almost all dim sums costed $5.28 per dish except few bbq n special items.
Parking: During weekend around lunch time, it was difficult to find parking nearby the restaurant.“

“This is a gem in the rough place. Super enjoyable atmosphere. There are tons of chinese restaurants around the corner, most of them are over priced and below average quality. This place is reasonably priced, easy parking and good quality food. My favorite place to hang out for lunch of dinner.“

“It's great. The food is good. But you have to wait outside until your number is called and outside the place is littered with cigarettes in the waiting area. Please clean it up and put a no smoking sign. No one wants second hand smoke.“

“From the outside this looks like a hole in the wall place in a strip mall but inside it's huge and magical! We had a party of 200 people in there and there was still areas for other pattons.
Aside from most of the staff not speaking English to tell us what we were eating when it was brought out we figured it out and everything was uniquely different in its own way!
I usually take food pics but I didn't this time! P.S beer was only 5 bucks a bottle!“

“Came here with a group of friends for dinner. This place has been around for a long time in LA and is a well-known spot for Cantonese cuisine and dim sum, the quality and flavors are definitely still there. I usually come here for dim sum, so I was pleasantly surprised by their dinner specials. A lot of dishes were only $12.99–$15.99, which is a great deal. they were offering a free chicken and duck when you spend more than $80“

“「鴻豐尚品」
Originally I was here to park my car and wanted to have lunch at other restaurant nearby. But the sign shows “parking Lot is for customer only”. That’s the reason why I have my lunch here.
I am very pleased with the amazing dim sum and the old-time atmosphere. The portion of food is huge and the price is reasonable. Definitely I’ll come back again!“

“I’ve been eating here since I was in high school a long time ago . The food has always been amazing and has always been perfect. They are always accommodating to the food and they have such fast service as well . Truly a hidden gem ! They’re red bean buns are AMAZING!! Perfect softness ! Additionally they’re Hawaiian BQQ mix, Hawaiian BQQ chicken , and Hawaiian NQQ beef are ALL SO GOOD!! Also their spam musubi is SOO AMAZING (my personal favorite) . Highly recommend this place truly is a staple !“
“I LOVE DIM SUM KING MASTER. Best items are the haim suk gok, siu mai, and their rice noodle rolls which are different then a lot of other shops and more thin. The rice noodle rolls are made fresh. A must-try is the pineapple buns which are also freshly made and are always very warm and fluffy. Last recommendation, is their thai tea. This is my go-to place for dim sum. Support small businesses!!“

“This is a small independent shop that only does take out. Nothing fancy.
I came on a Sunday and the parking was packed. There are other shops and a supermarket as well. People do park and go rather quickly, though.
If you spend more than $20, you won't be charged a $1 fee. They only accept mastercard and visa; otherwise, pay cash.
Dim sum items are typically under $5. They sell other items/dishes for more and also specialty drinks.
I ordered $58 worth of dim sum and tried some in the car. I was happy with my order.
If you like cheap and decent dim sum, this place is it. Customers seem to love this place. There was a long line when I was here, and they kept refilling the food trays quickly.“

“I saw on a post about their lobster deal for $20 lunch special and wanted to try it.
It turns out there are 2 deals.
1 is a $20 lunch special another is for a $15.99 per lbs, buy 2 get 1 special.
The $20 lunch special is not quite $20. You are required to order 3 Dimsum items.
So my bill was closer $40+. The lobster was about 1.25 lbs. it was on the small side but it was still a good deal. The lunch was worth it.
The $15.99 per lbs, but 2 get 1 free deal, you will need to order 2 other dishes to get it. You also don’t have to buy 2 lobsters at the same time. You can buy 1 , another day buy another 1 then you get the free one after.
The house special lobster - that was excellent. There is a slight sweet , savory and spicy flavor. Strong on garlic flavor. There is a hint of fermented soy bean in that as well. My order was 2.8 lbs. I managed to easily handle that on my own.
Dimsum -
Pork bun tasted a bit dry. Not the best. Chicken bun needs a bit more fillings.
Beef Ball - that was good. Tasted legit.
Pork Century Egg Congee - I’ll order it again
Shrimp Rice Roll - quite good. Sauce has an excellent earthy savory sweet taste. Perfect texture.
Royal Chicken - is Hainan Chicken , that was good.“

“The service was attentive and the restaurant was really nice and clean. Of course the star of the show is the food. Absolutely delicious. Everything was satisfactory. The almond tea pastry, fried squid, and garlic god were absolute highlights. I bet that you could order anything on the menu and be absolutely enjoying your meal. They are just so good at cooking here“
“This restaurant is a must-visit for clay pot rice lovers. The rice arrives sizzling with a golden, crispy bottom and perfectly infused flavors. Their Chinese sausage and marinated pork combo is outstanding.
The wait is worth it, as each pot is cooked to order. Pair your meal with their stir-fried veggies and homemade chili sauce for a complete experience. With its cozy atmosphere, generous portions, and attentive service, this spot delivers comfort food at its best.“
“Wow! Steamed BBQ Pork Buns, soft moist and subtly sweet. It’s like they gathered the outer edges from tiny fluffy clouds and stuffed sweet pork bits into their centers. The sauce is brown, not red like I’m used to but still very good. The pork chunks were very moist which I loved, with just enough fat for moisture and flavoring. The price is a bit up there, especially for a crowd. $15.00 for 6 Small Buns…but better quality when comparing to local Asian Market deli sections. 4-6 huge buns To-Go for $8.00 and you can feed an army or share 1 with a friend.Despite the price, I loved the product. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, Take the Steaming Square Paper off the Bottom before eating lol.The NAME Signage wasn’t over the door when I arrived so I parked in the giant lot to look at the map. I discovered that it was located on the yogurt shop side of the lot. 2nd shop on right from east entrance. It’s a strip mall off Duarte & Baldwin, Bank of America ATM near sidewalk.“
“Wow! Meat pies from heaven in a mini- mall off N Garfield Avenue. Everything here is great. Not a sit down place as such, since it's really small and they only have a few tables, but I'm sure you could eat in if you wanted to (they have a short menu) - but it's not really a restaurant atmosphere - more of a small hole in the wall family run takeout, with Grandpa making dumplings by hand at a table when I was there. There seems to be very little English spoken here. Very delicious and authentic - I'll be back!“

“Let's get the not great out of the way; it's an undecorated banquet hall, and it's very chinese. Just take a Chinese friend with you so the people pushing the carts can communicate with your table, and cope that the drab interior keeps the cost of the food down, because you will be ordering a lot of it, because it's all great. We ordered 14 different things and they were all delicious. I've had bad dimsum before but this restaurant has restored my faith in it. I'm ready to get hurt again, but it won't be by this restaurant.
Would eat again and recommend.“

“Our go-to Dim-Sum restaurant when we visit Alhambra. Always order the har gow, siu mai, shrimp balls in rice, egg yolk pineapple custard buns and hot tea. The servers don't all speak fluent English but we make it work. Ordering is done by writing quantities on a paper menu with English descriptions.“

“If you're craving dim sum, this place is definitely worth a try. The dim sum menu is solid, offering a decent variety of dishes that satisfy those midday cravings. The food quality is good overall, flavorful, and filling. However, when it comes to dinner time, the experience takes a bit of a dive. The dinner menu isn't particularly impressive, and the foods lack in flavor. I wouldn't recommend coming during dinner time.
The service, unfortunately, leaves a lot to be desired. The staff can be a bit inattentive and, at times, even rude.“

“Lobster noodle special $16.99 is only available with minimum purchase $20 or more also the noodle and sides additional, $26 roasted duck has a minimum of 3 main course purchase and only available evening. The tea taste was very generic, charged my 10yrs old tea count(told me all tea count over 4yrs old), old school dim sum cart is authentic and give it a thumbs up because a lot of restaurants are no longer doing dim sum carts no more. Haven’t tried other seafood yet, but the noodle with lobster was too small and over fried, that’s what you may get for a special I guess. Total gross charge of $60-$6tax-$6tea count= $48 net with 4 dim sum flat fee of $5 plus a lobster noodle for 4 people sounds very fair. Only need to improve the food and tea quality bit more toward a higher end quality seafood restaurant with more attractive pricing.“

“It is a very professional and authentic Chinese restaurant. The food selection is very rich. There are various Chinese dishes with different flavors to choose from. I like barbecued pork buns and rice rolls, as well as chrysanthemum tea. There are many traditional Chinese people here, and some white people. The decoration of the restaurant is great, with Chinese characteristics, and it can also host some parties and celebrations.“

“I went with two Chinese friends who were familiar with the service style and menu, and thanks to that, I had a great experience. However, for people with no experience in this type of restaurant, it could be hard and a bit confusing at first.
The food was very good and a new experience for me. The prices are fair, but the service could be more welcoming to non-Chinese guests.“

“One of the best dim sum places in the area! Even at night when dim sum isn't available the dishes are super tasty as well! I never been to Canton, but I've been to Hong Kong and NYC, this place is def on par or better than the places I had in Hong Kong and NYC.“
