“I love this boba place so much! There are tables to work at and the environment is calming. The cat drawing collection on the wall continues to increase each time I come in. Many teenagers like to come here to study and draw after school and on weekends. The staff is super sweet and helpful. I really love the green tea boba but they have some really good smoothies as well.“

“I love coming here each visit I make. The teas they use is of much better quality than other Boba locations. And their prices are proportional to what you get. A large in any boba Utah shop is Tea Station’s regular size, and mostly made of ice and sugar. You can’t taste any tea. I highly recommend visiting this location if you want to actually taste tea in your boba.“

“This place has a good thing going. A higher-tier boba joint (a la Orobae) where the flavor of the tea really comes through, not just milk and sugar! And the silky boba is just so fun and distinctive. I recommend getting the jasmine flavor unless you know you like wintermelon (which to me is great, but isn't for everyone.)

It is not quite as memorable as the one at e.g. Mandarin in Pasadena, but it certainly hit the spot. They have a nice recipe for the foam -- pleasant texture and sweet/salty balance. “I had seen the rave reviews on social media so I went into this place a bit of a skeptic. However, I’m happy to say that this place surpassed my expectations. The tea is so strong and fragrant. I had a Yuzu Osmanthus less sweet and it was best version of an Osmanthus drink I’ve had.“

There’s no restroom for customers, no tables or chairs to sit and enjoy your drink, and they even got rid of the Mochi Matcha Frostie with red bean, which was one of my favorites. “My first time trying this location, it was recommended to me and it’s good enough to post a review about it. The cashier is super friendly and helpful. She walked me through the process of ordering a sushi burrito. Taste was 10/10, quality was just as good and they’re handmade after you order so you do have to wait like 15min but so worth it. I got the ahi tuna and shrimp tempura with masago, green onion, and imitation crab. Second one was for my fiancé and he couldn’t get enough. Definitely stopping by next time I’m in the area.“

“Occupying the ex-space of Yi-Fang, another boba place in Sawtelle! Yesss you heard me right, feeling like you won't have enough fingers anymore to count them especially if you include those now gone. Pretty nice to have more options amidst the already long list, so no complaint.

There's little line when we arrived, but we got the orders swift enough. Super helpful as they had self-order counter along with the regular one.

First drink for the day was Wintermelon Tea, which was always my to-go whenever available. It's nice that they could do sugar customization for this, as in most places I couldn't do it for tjis drink. I went for 70% and was impressed with its nice balance between the wintermelon flavor and the tea taste.

Our second was from the milk-based one, their Phoenix Oolong Milk Tea, which was also pretty nice with bold tea, though bit too sweet for 50% sugar IMHO; even kinda odd as it's sweeter vs first one despite being at 50%. We added aloe vera topping, which tasted decent enough and was generously given.

Fun fact, they provided option to go for mini cup with any regular one purchased, but only limited to flavor of the day. Pretty nice way to enable people trying new stuffs.“

“I absolutely love Yi Fang in Torrance — it’s hands down my favorite boba spot! I live in Irvine, but I’ll happily make the drive just for their drinks. “I am so surprised by the customer service I received at Sharetea. I went in the evening of the 4th of July. The guys working there were cleaning and when I walked in, they immediately stopped to help me. I asked one of the guys about almost everything on the menu and he kindly answered all of my questions. After I finally selected what I wanted, he made it, and I thought that it was too sweet. He helped me out by giving me some more tea to dilute the sweetness and I immediately spilled it all over the counter. He very kindly cleaned it up and told me not to worry about it. I felt so bad, but he assured me that it was okay. Long story short, their customer service was excellent and they were so kind despite all of that. Also, once I got the right level of sweetness, it was delicious. I highly recommend them!“

“Tried a lot of different drinks! I'm not a fan of banana flavor but the banana in the matcha and the honeycomb milk tastes quite subtle, and it's pretty fragrant. I also got the Vietnamese coffee frappe, which was more of a slushie because it was so foamy/liquid-y, rather than icy which I prefer. The liquid gold (oolong tea with cream) and lychee black tea had great tea flavor as well. Every drink was not overly sweet (some had sweetness adjustment to 20% or below). A good after-dinner treat if you're in the Sawtelle area!“

“I love their teas and the mango smoothie! The mango smoothie with boba or any type of jelly is amazing.

I saw today that the store will close by the end of this month. I don't know if the team will see this, but I wanted to say how much this place meant for me at least.

During covid, like most people, me and my boyfriend were having financially hard time, also pretty bad job situations. We were sleeping in a twin bed together in a bachelors unit type of financial situation. One day, my boyfriend, stressed and wanting to give up, got like a mango smoothie as a sweet treat. It was a big purchase for us at the time but every sip was worth it. It became like a bi-weekly treat for us, where he would get a drink on the way home and we would share it. During my birthday, we got a large size mango smoothie as a super treat that day haha.
Now, I am financially way stable, we are still in the area, much better living situation and wayyy better jobs. But I would still go in an get drinks from there. Sometimes matcha, milk tea with jelly, and our classic favorite mango smoothie.
We would watch Latea trying to bring a community there. Sometimes I would see students sharing their favorite kpop idol merch there in the corner, I remember when they had the Tubby Nugget there! I missed it but it was such a cute event.

This maybe a lot for a google review, or anything, also I'm pretty bad at writing so I don't even know if anyone will read this. But I wanted to tell the team that I will miss them in this beautiful corner of Culver City. My walk back home was more emotional than I expected after reading the closure announcement. Your drinks meant a lot to me, and I will visit before end of month for another mango smoothie.

“I was craving for a dessert after dinner and saw this tiny shop on my way. The cafe was very small with only few tight tables inside. I ordered via the tablet but they were ran out of boba.

Taro matcha latte: it had good taro flavor but the matcha flavor was weak. I asked for less sweet but it was still too sweet for me (tasted like normal sweetness).“
