“I have been enjoying their food for 6 years, ever since I moved to Culver City. Their lurou noodle/rice is very nice, the cheeseburger potsticker is absolutely awesome, and the tomato sauce is among the best I have ever tasted. It's a shock to learn that they are closed now...I will deeply miss them.“

Everything was very tasty! Priced accordingly for the Culver City foot traffic that frequents it. They also sell high-grade tea separately!

“A favorite boba spot of mine that originated from the Bay Area and now has 4 locations in Los Angeles.This spot is tucked inside the Platform in Culver City, a beautiful shopping oasis surrounded by lush plants and aesthetically pleasing walk ways.Boba Guys does boba right! They have sweet and perfectly squishy boba. Their menu is pretty customizable in terms of adding sugar, type of boba, or additional items.Price wise you could spend around $10 on a boba drink if you got their larger size and added extra boba. Typically it’s around $6 for a drink.We got their strawberry matcha boba, a lychee oolong and a mango tea with egg pudding instead of boba. Their lychee oolong was super refreshing!!“

“I come here to study every weekend due to the library only being open till 5. Traditional cafes in the area close at the same time, and I hate coffee anyway. This place is a great way to get my caffeine fix and be productive. The couple that runs this place is sweet and never kicks anyone out no matter how long you stay. Chips they sell are flavorful and keep you fuller for longer. I recommend the KIS Jasmine tea, gives you a nice kick comparable to a coffee. Very cute place and less pricy than Teaspoon down the street. My only complaint is that the milk teas can be watery at some times. I would also suggest there be a matcha item in the future for a tea that delivers more caffeine.“

“I come here several times a week. It’s very convenient since you can place your order at the kiosk. I’ve never waited for my order for longer than maybe 5 minutes.

I highly recommend a Lemon Jasmine Tea with 25% sweetness, honey for sweetener, and honey boba. I have also tried the limited Mango Chamoy frosty with Lychee jelly, which was delicious but strong.“

“The Champion milk tea was solid, good tea flavor and rich milky texture. It reminded me of when I was at the Taipei location on a date with this really nice girl. She said she wanted something more creamy but that made me question her taste and so I went home.

In California, it is kind of expensive at $10 for a large w. toppings.“

Great flavor, sweetness was on point. Easy to order too with the smart panel, quick service from James - and the place has vibes for days. Kpop blasting in the speakers, swag and sneakers on display, barbershop swirls on a checkboard floor - it just feels different here!Can't wait to go back and try the hoji cha. “This is the best matcha in LA. I get a dirty matcha with oat milk and their homemade lavender syrup and it’s insane. They use ceremonial matcha too! The texture of the drink so so silky and amazing. A must try. Not expensive at all and you can get stamps to work towards a free drink! ?

“I love this place! I typically get their black tea with cheese foam at about 50% sweetness and love the slightly sweet and salty combination. Other days, I enjoy the Okinawa milk tea also at 50% sweetness and just love it. Nothing is more refreshing than a nice drink during the summer! My husband and I have found ourselves coming here about every other day to grab a quick milk tea from here and will continue to come for the friendly service and a Lowkey place to hangout and chat.“

Our group ordered 6 drinks and had a couple of questions but with no cashier we had to guess the answers. “Very good place. Great people are working there. Very friendly. Explaining well about their drinks and how they make. Drinks are very tasty. They prepare pudding by themselves and herb jelly. So i recommend to add them to your drinks. They are super delicious and natural than other toppings which they have. I really like Thai peel milk tea and matcha smoothie. The greatest thing about this brand is that they use dairy free substitution from Taiwan instead of milk and it taste like milk. Very recommended.“

“I came in a bit confused as it was my first time ordering for Alfred’s, Felipe just so happened to be at the front when he greeted me and knew I was very confused. I asked him if he had any recommendations and he recommended me the Lavender Matcha which did not disappoint at all, I also got the bagel he recommended me which I forgot what it had but bacon and avocado is a good mix that I doubted for a little bit. “I’ve gotten the lychee jasmine green tea with coconut jelly a few times here. It does the trick on a hot day and I want a refreshing drink, but honestly the tea tastes watered down and the coconut jelly are kind of lacking in flavor.
I did see that they offer red bean for their drinks, which is cool and I feel like I don’t see that all too often!

Jasmine milk tea was so fragrant and the kumquat one was very tangy and refreshing. Highlight was the pearls, they were so soft and chewy and honestly some of the best we've ever had (and we've drank a loooot of bubble tea in our lifetime).
