“I ordered the 22 TW Champion Milk Tea with brown sugar boba, and I absolutely loved it!
Using red oolong instead of the usual black tea gives the drink a unique depth of flavor that’s smooth, fragrant, and not overly sweet. The brown sugar boba had the perfect chewy texture and paired beautifully with the tea.
Overall, it’s a fantastic drink in a great location, and I’ll definitely be coming back to try more from the menu.“

“Bloom is my favorite coffee spot in LA. I remember visiting them when they first open and the atmosphere was incredibly chill and loving. “I wasn't having the best day when I walked into Boba Sound in Koreatown. I was frustrated, irritated, and honestly just not in a great mood. The moment I walked in, however, I was welcomed by Kelly, whose smile was as bright as a cloudless morning sun.

Kelly was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and gave excellent recommendations. I ended up trying the honeydew smoothie with lychee jelly, and it was absolutely delicious—I highly recommend that combination.

What made this visit special wasn't just the drink. Within a couple of minutes of interacting with Kelly, my entire attitude and outlook had changed. Her kindness, charisma, and genuine thoughtfulness made me feel seen and appreciated. She seemed to sense I wasn't having the best day and went out of her way to make the experience better. She even gave me the little bit of smoothie that was left in the blender, which was such a simple but thoughtful gesture.

Great customer service can completely change someone's day, and that's exactly what happened here. I'll definitely be coming back—not just for the amazing smoothies, but for the outstanding service and welcoming atmosphere.

“We’ve been here twice now, once during their soft opening and again this past weekend. We stumbled upon it by accident while in Sawtelle, and it’s apparently a very popular chain.

Most drink spots usually have just a couple of standout items that end up being overly sugary or one-note, but I’ve been genuinely impressed with Jam Jam. We ordered 4 different drinks, and every single one tasted distinct, balanced, and fantastic in its own way. They don’t just look great for photos; the flavors are genuinely amazing.

The space itself is clean, modern, and comfortable to hang out in. Unlike a lot of drink spots in Sawtelle, it doesn’t get overwhelmingly loud, making it actually enjoyable to sit down and relax. Ordering through the self-checkout kiosks keeps things efficient, letting the staff fully focus on making drinks quickly.

Easily my current favorite drink spot in the area for both the variety and the overall vibe.“

There Services is Good. They ask you if you want your Sweetness Level and if they want you to add Boba or Other Topping for your drink. So I recommend if you want a Good & Refreshing Drink. But I only go there for once a Month.“

“On the scale of Boba, Black Sugar lives in the fresh ingredients and healthier side without being fussy and still feeling like classic boba tea. Both the boba itself and their tea and flavors are high quality and the inclusion of coconut milk as an option makes for some wonderfully rich drinks. I don’t know the name of the guy and sorry about that I didn’t ask it, but I think you’ll know who we are. The girl in a purple dress and the guy with green sueter. We asked for ramen and poke bowl and they comes with very very delicious appetizers and boba drinks !! Like what ??? Really really amazing!! “This boba shop is spacious, clean, and quiet. We went at night, and the atmosphere was quiet. Only one other person was there doing homework. I got the Thai Tea with boba, my partner got the Green Apple Ade, and my niece got the strawberry yogurt smoothie. There was a misunderstanding when we asked for some boba in her drink. The barista ended up putting both regular Tapioca boba and strawberry popping bubbles. Of course, charged us for both. But other than that, it is a great boba place. The boba itself was fresh and squishy. I can't wait to go back!“

The atmosphere was pretty clean, but there was some trash uncleaned when me and my Mom arrived(around 6pm). The pricing was what I expected, as most drinks are 7-8$ as they are pretty large. “Alfred is one of my go to coffee spots in the neighborhood. The coffee is consistently excellent, the pastries are fresh, and the outdoor patio is a great place to sit for a while. The flower shop attached gives the whole place a unique feel, and the staff has always been friendly and efficient. Whether I'm grabbing a quick coffee or meeting someone for a chat, it never disappoints. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.“
