“I got these for a week, the food was cute. My 8yr old enjoyed everything except for the following, plant based eggs, dried fruit and that the Sun Butter sandwich was on sourdough bread. He loved having these special lunches, I loved that I didn't have to cook a meal. The portion was a little small for my 8yr old but he still enjoyed it. We will be purchasing more. Also I appreciated that they delivered out in the outskirts of Ventura County. Drop off was easy and bag and ice pack kept everything cold. Will be sharing this great service.“

“A friend recommended Bite Catering Couture for a party my husband and I were having. We were extremely happy with the food from Bite. We worked with Elena Linardi who was very personable, responsive and made it easy. I had a lot of questions during the process and she answered them right away. We ordered 12 items and they were all delicious. The food was delivered on time and the person who delivered the food organized the items that needed to be heated and went over the dipping sauces that went with each. He discouraged a tip, but I gave him one anyway. We had approximately 45 guests and there was plenty of food and some leftovers. Nothing but positive comments on the food. I would definitely use Bite again and I highly recommend them for your next party or gathering.“

“A delicious made from scratch falafel in a great sandwich. Friendly staff. Since my first review I have returned and tried their Chicken and Cheese sandwich. Even better then the falafel sandwich! It is a chicken salad sandwich with lots of yummy chicken salad and Swiss cheese. I had their regular French fries 🍟 Very tasty. Again the staff was very friendly and helpful. I picked up the French Girl from the secret lunch menu and a box of Lady Crackers.
The sando was easily the top 2 french ham & cheese style baguettes that I have had outside of Paris. The spread gives it a nice sweet hint that is unconventional but very welcomed.
There is also an Inciardi Print vending machine. If you acquire the Lady Crackers print then you get a free box of Lady Crackers.“

“I had my wedding banquet in my backyard, and we picked Pimenta because they are really transparent that they don't have an extra charge on the invoice - only what they mentioned on the website. It's also because my partner stays in Brazil some of the time, and we were engaged in Brazil, too, so we wanted to have a Brazilian BBQ at the party. And I could tell the taste is the same as in Brazil! Pimenta is owned by a Brazilian couple, Marcelo and Maria, and my partner informed me that they speak Portuguese to each other. So it's really authentic!

The food was all incredibly tasty and amusing. All of my friends, family members, my colleagues, and even my boss enjoyed the food so much!!!

We were a little bit worried because they didn't provide a tasting session, but the food is truly amazing, better than what we imagined. And the portion is so big that we couldn't finish the food with 36 guests! Marcelo and Maria are great, too. Easy to work with. We will find them once again if we host big events again! Simon was really great, he was a total professional in helping us pick the food and setting the menu.

My guests said the food was really good. The standouts were his shwarma and beef short rib.

There was an abundance of food. It’s nice to know wirh Simon, that you will never feel like you ran out of food for your guests.

My guests also told that the servers were very professional.

“We had an outstanding experience for our first catered event with LA Spice. The event planner, Andrea, was pleasant and easy to work with. She came and did a site visit to assess the possibilities for the party set up.

A few weeks later we had to change the venue. She was completely unflustered, came back for another site visit and made new suggestions about the set up.

As for the menu, she listened carefully to our parameters, then put together a menu that looked great on paper. She also worked with us to design the party layout including the colors for the table coverings, garden umbrellas, chairs, etc.

On the day of the party, she arrived early to oversee the set up. The catering staff came shortly afterwards and worked in a well orchestrated fashion to put everything together in just about 30 minutes.

The food that had looked good on paper was superb in both appearance and taste. The guests raved about the food long after the party!

The service by the staff of five (Chefs: Conrad & Dante; Servers: Agustin & Dawn; Bartender: Seth) was top-notch — pleasant, professional, attentive, and good humored. Many of our guests complimented us on how we’d found this group for our event.

For the size of our party and the food and service provided, the cost per person was very reasonable and lower than in our past experience with caterers.

We will definitely use LA Spice for future events and would highly recommend them to anyone else.“

“I’m visiting a new area and I took a chance and ordered from DoorDash. I ordered a half a rack of ribs and even though they came very odd looking there was an extremely healthy portion. (There were not a lot of rib bones, but a lot of the bottom portion of the spare ribs, but I did not mind because it was a generous serving) The barbecue sauce was outstanding and all of the side dishes were delicious. They were running a two for one on some of the sides so I got a ton of food.“
