“I was searching for Chinese fast food and found this place. Conveniently located not far from the airport and the owner was friendly and attentive. I ordered the pork short rib (soy glazed), fried chicken wings (sweet and sour), and curry chicken (very flavorful). Since I got there 30 mins before closure, one third of the entrees were sold out but I’m still pleased with the what I got. I would recommend both curry chicken and chicken wings, the pork ribs are a little bit saltier to my preference.

“My first time visiting this hidden gem on West Adams. Their bold flavors and perfect execution ranging from cold apps, to dumplings and noodle dishes.

I tried their new Kung Pao Chicken, and wow--it's a must-order. The balance of spice, crunch, and just the right amount of sweetness made it one of the best versions I've had anywhere in LA.

Of course, the classics here never disappoint. The dumplings are tender, juicy, and packed with flavor; the spicy beef noodle soup has that rich, comforting broth with just the right kick; and their fried rice is so good you could happily eat it on its own or alongside everything else. They can also adjust spice levels.

Beyond the food, the vibe at Mian really adds to the experience. Whether you're coming for a casual dinner with friends or just craving some of the best Chinese food in town, Mian delivers every time.

“My wife and I have been in need of a new Chinese restaurant and we have finally found it. This restaurant is well worth the drive to Redondo to get some of the best food I have had in a long time. The service was prompt and courteous. The drinks came right away and they took our appetizer order at that time. The crab rangoons came out first and are some of the best I have had ever! We ordered quite a few items to sample and find our new favorites, also to be able to take home and share with our parents. Every dish was perfectly cooked and wonderfully seasoned. The portion size was very large which gave us plenty to share and to take home as well. The meat was all very tender and flavorful and the rice and noodles were perfect as well. I can't say enough good things about this place. We will now only be coming here for our Chinese food cravings, which is quite often. I should also not that it seems the menu is very extensive with all your favorite Chinese and Thai dishes and the hot sake was very tasty as well. Usually not a fan of lamb, but the lamb skewers from this place was pretty good, and it also didn’t stink too badly.

The beef kebab was amazing too, the beef was tender and well marinated! The chicken kebab felt a bit dry and not as flavourful compared to the other so I would not recommend.

It’s a good place to socialize as you needed to wait for the skewers to be grilled.

Went on a Saturday, around 730pm, and waited around 30-45 mins for the table to be ready, but this was WELL worth the wait!“

The lady was SOOOO nice and helpful over the phone. With that said, the food here is top notch! When I need comfort food, I get the egg flower soup and dumplings. Parking can be difficult in this old plaza depending on the hours. Seating usually doesn’t take too long.

One of the best things about this places is the noodles. House made, can be adjusted to your liking. They’re perfectly chewy and have a nice texture to them.

When I first visited, one of my favorites places dishes here was the kung pao chicken. It used to be very unique, fried super crispy before mixed with the carrot, peanuts, peppers, and other bits. On our recent trip, it’s seems like they completely changed the recipe, it’s on the sweet side, no carrots or other veggies and peanuts were just added on top. I lost one of my favorite dish here, would never order the current kung pao chicken again.

Not pictured or ordered since it was a hot day, but one of my favorites is their beef noodle sou. It’s a great comfort dish with excellent flavor and good portions of meat and veggies

All of their dry noodles or cold noodles are delicious as well.

One of their house specialty entrees I really enjoyed and will order again is the spicy spare ribs. Super crispy, good spices. Might be a bit on the oily side, but it’s delicious.

XLB are good, not the best but perfectly fine. Juicy and good flavor.

Cold cuts are good as an appetizer, you can choose however many you want and portions are good.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. I would say they get swamped a bit during busy hours as they handle tables and also take out orders.“
