“I was waiting for about 6 minutes before another customer came in and was immediately seated. Then another customer came in and was also seated. I then walked to the front and the couple behind me was seated. Finally a waiter sat me b3cause the host was totally blind to a single diner.

The sandwiches are great. I'm not a huge fan of fatty meats so I know what not to order (brisket x pastrami club) next time but it tasted very good.

The atmosphere is like an empty Dennys with not enough waiters or servers but a small lunch rush. I just wanted to eat and get out of there as soon as possible.“

“This is a classic diner, locally owned with a big menu and a very solid breakfast. The shakes are old school with the chocolate shakes made with chocolate ice cream. There is very little turn over in the friendly staff which makes me think the owners try to do right by them. “I just ate here for my birthday on Saturday. I have been to Belize and this food took me right back there. The owner Leslie, is from Belize and is very friendly and attentive, as his the staff. Phenomenal food, and large portions. Get the sampler platter for your appetizer, you won't be disappointed. I highly recommend this restaurant. If you are ever in Gardena, you should stop here. Gardena Cinema is a few blocks away, and is also fantastic. The restaurant closes at 7pm, and most shows start at 7:30, so it makes for the perfect evening.“

“A small and quick French inspired bistro in Westwood. It’s not a full service restaurant, you order at the counter, they give you a number, and then they bring the food to your table. Inside is not very large and the tables are pretty close together, so it would not be suited for large groups. Service was very fast so if you were in a rush, this is the sort of place to stop, but also many were sitting in and working so you don’t have to rush out if you don’t want to. The server behind the counter was polite and everything that we ordered came out fairly fast. Parking in this area can be a bit of a pain. The best option will be metered street parking or one of the plots.

For this visit, I chose the Croque Monsieur and enjoyed it. I opted for the turkey instead of the ham and thought it was a nice change. I would like them to use more beschemel sauce and toasted the meat or bread a bit more but still, it was enjoyable. I would suggest adding avocado as well. Overall, a quick inconvenient option in Westwood.“

“Came here for breakfast while traveling in Washington. Establishment seems to be well managed and well maintained. Matthew was our server and did an excellent job of taking care of us. We ordered the Breakfast Sampler, which I believe used to be called the Grand Slam. It came with two eggs, three meats, hash browns, and buttermilk pancakes. Breakfast of champions! We were quite satisfied when we left to hit the road to Forks, WA. We would definitely return if we were ever in the area.“
