“I finally got to try the dishes here and I am not disappointed.
I got the soup and it was just right amount of jalapeños for the spice. I lobe the simplistic it had, but it was still tasty ?
I also tried the island poke dish and it was very delicious as well.
I like how you have options for the rice or a salad base, or both.
Very flavorful and right amount of sauces.
I am looking forward to trying more dishes as time goes by.“

“Char Siu pork plate was decent but not phenomenal. I like the juiciness of the pork and a lil crunch on the skin. Decoration was cute, cucumber pickles were rotten/had a bit of foul smell. Not sure if it’s worth $23-24 after tax. I can easily get this dish at a Chinese restaurant or Chinatown for cheaper.
I also wish the eggplant salad had less sauce because the aroma of star anise or sth was too much for me.“

Service would really only show up when you placed a new order, and it was a little weird not to receive spoons or bowls (there is a separate self-serve counter for this and sauces) but besides that they were fine. Only rank atmosphere low due to a large amount of families with loud kids wandering the restaurant... cest la vie.“

That was pleasant. But when I received my order my salad was delicious! My Daughter loved the garlic noodles and the the chicken was cooked how she likes it, my youngest Son is a chicken sandwich connoisseur he said it was 3 thumbs up it wasn't too spicy and it was very crispy my other Son got the beef he complained it was too tough and just eating the garlic rice and cucumbers he enjoyed that but said the cucumbers were bland. All in all the food was good despite the minor mishaps.

The tempura was just right, not greasy at all and also delicious. Are you seeing a pattern here? The plain old salad had a wonderful take on the classic American Japanese restaurant salad dressing over crisp hand torn leaves and was accompanied by a perfectly prepared miso soup as starters. We will be back to this wonderful neighborhood restaurant!“

“Very delicious authentic Asian cuisine. The pork and duck combo were magnificent. The owner/operator is super nice. Hong Kong ice milk tea is a great sipper on a hot day. I'm not sure about seating, but I took it to go, so it wasn't an issue. Very reasonable prices.“

They have a limited and pricey alcohol menu, but the servers know almost nothing about drinks.

“Solid inexpensive family run Chinese food in a hole in the wall diner atmosphere. Generous amounts of homemade wontons and tender chicken in the wonton soup. Popcorn chicken was tender with light batter and not greasy (would be even better with a sprinkle of furikake or fried basil). The bbq pork chasu fried rice was good (could have used a little more egg, will ask them to add more next time). All fresh and cooked to order. This will be on our regular rotation of quick inexpensive meal options.“

“Had fried calamari, which was good and plentiful, and dumplings in a spicy (not actually very spicy) sauce which was quite flavorful. Table next to me had two rambunctious children which always irritates me.

“I was staying at the Holiday Inn Express next door and needed to get dinner so walked over and practically had the place to myself. I felt a little bad for them having few customers but I really enjoyed everything. I kept it simple and just ordered pad Thai with chicken and it was perfect. “I like this place and have tried many dishes, which are tasty. However, I do have a problem with how they serve dumplings. Dumplings are served in these aluminum cups that completely stick to the food, and I have not been able to eat a single dumpling without tearing it apart completely. Kind of ruins the experience a bit.
Guys, you need to come up with a new way to do this. Dumplings should not be stuck.“
