“What a fun place. Quirky with the whole entrance and then a classy interior. Managed to get reservations for two on Saturday afternoon for 5:30pm the same day.

Overall, the vibe and quirkiness isn't what would draw me back a second time, but the food is absolutely top shelf. Huge fan of the grilled octopus, in particular. Perfectly cooked. The sangria wasn't bad. Pretty good but not special enough that it's a necessity if you're not in the mood. Next time we'll start exploring the wine list more. The food was just too good so we'll be back again soon for the food and a bottle of wine.“

“I had a few minutes before I visiting hours at St. Francis Hospital. This was around the corner at Hyde and Bush. The visitors entrance is on Hyde between Pine and Bush while the ER entrance is on Bush between Hyde and Leavenworth. There were a lot of people inside and outside. A line formed shortly after I placed my order. Picked up coffee but their pastries looked good.“

“Excellent food as usual. The service was quite slow, especially for lunch and I noted the same for multiple tables around me. Additionally, the prices had really gone up since my last visit. Unclear why. It bugs me that they nail guests for 6% SF mandate — much higher than most restaurants. I don't know why health insurance for Barcha would be far higher than other restaurants.“

“Fenikkusu serves some interesting dishes that you wouldn’t find at your typical Japanese restaurant. As the name says they serve tapas (ie small portion) dishes and specialize in sushi.

The mini kaisen don is the real star of the menu and is a well thought out balance of sashimi rice, aromatics and salmon roe for some brininess. The mentaiko pasta is also a really awesome dish. I would come back here for these two dishes. I also enjoyed the corn fritters and the mackerel.

I would stay away from the oxtail pot and is the main reason why I didn’t give a five star rating.“

“La Marcha is one of our fave restaurants in the east bay. All of the dishes are packed full of flavor. We like to order a few tapas and a paella and take the leftover paella home to enjoy the next day. It's a fun date night or dinner with friends!“

“OPTIMAL! Following the other reviews we arrived at this small Japanese restaurant, almost invisible from the street. Excellent and well-groomed food. Very kind staff, very helpful both in advice and in customizing orders! A little dark but welcoming place!“

“Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, though expect small portions. The service was exceptional too, but I especially wanted to write a review because the bathroom was so amazing! At the end of the night it was still sparkling clean, and it has a bidet (!), free sanitary products (!!), and a hilarious & adorable toilet paper dispenser that made me laugh out loud. If you're a foodie or you want a fun, quirky place to share a drink and snack with a friend, definitely add Snail Bar to your list.“

“I was planning on eating at Belly for lunch not realizing they’d moved, so I decided to try the new place out. I did not regret it!

The food was great, the service was pleasant, and the vibe was very chill. The woman who served us was happy to answer any questions we had about the menu (I have a shellfish allergy, so this is important for me in particular).

I ended up having the curry. The veggies were perfectly cooked and the flavor was on point. Chicken was still moist and the rice was fluffy.

“A wonderful evening at Okoze with Jason, doing a vast taster session for us organised by some amazing friends.
Some of the freshest ingredients I’ve ever tasted!
From crab, to tuna, to prawn, to scallop, to wagyu, to pickled plum and a wild array in between this was a fantastic evening and wonderful meal. A special shout out to the prawn tempura we started with, so crunchy but so light! Plus the wagyu that melted like butter!
Highly recommend a visit to Okoze for truly beautiful and tasty food.“

“I was craving something warm to eat close to midnight and I found this place. I was with my Japanese roommate, and he himself said this place did give off an Izakaya vibe. Most of the food items offered here I've tried elsewhere, so I ended up getting the sukiyaki, which was to my liking.

We did feel a little out of place, as the servers seemed primarily focused on a larger group, who they appeared to be friends with. So we felt a little forgotten throughout most of our time there, also considering that it was not that busy as we did leave a little before they closed.“

I ended up at vino volo and had such a lovely time! Above my expectations. Warren greeted me so promptly and warmly I immediately knew I’d made the right choice. The food was lovely and the service superb. I got the Butcher board (heaping with items. Not the tiny portions I was expecting at an airport eatery ) the Ham and Gruyère sandwich (which Iyana made superbly *chefs kiss* ) and then (since I was still having some bubbles and craving salty things) a little side of prosciutto and crackers (which wasn’t little at all all!) so impressed. Also - and I’m sure I’m not the only one who loves this- but they actually practiced great food safety! As some one in the the service industry it hard for me to watch when someone puts gloves on, then touches everything, then your food, missing the point entirely, that is not the case here! I was so happy not to stress about that at all! Hands were washed gloves were used, then discarded. It was awesome. Well done! 100% would go back cause of Iyana and Warren!“

“Top shelf experience!!! Amazing food that will make u drool like a salivating puppy. Ive had the flat bread pizza and the tacos and they were AMAZIN!!!! Every time the chef brings out a plate of food, I look over telling myself I’m ordering that next time. As far as the drinks…. Literally anything and everything can be crafted. Leaving you well hydrated and feeling better than ever. Though Jesse (bartender) is originally from Pennsylvania , he’s adopted the love for bay area sports and makes sure games are always played on the TV’s. Nice comfy lounge seating to make u feel right at home. Such a great place to take someone on a date, catch up with old friends, or meet new friends.“

I had high expectations because of the good ratings, but it was a bit more disappointing than I expected. However, when I revisited it, it was different.

“Such a cool spot serving unique, interesting and delicious wines. The food menu is light but appetizing and will satisfy any palette. If I were to build my perfect wine bar to hang out at, it would looked like this. It also helps that the staff makes a point to remember their regulars and make them feel welcome. Don't sleep on their wine club, I can promise you won't find wines like this elsewhere.

“We had the most wonderful dinner tonight at Noren Izakaya! Everything was fantastic from start to finish! From the service to the cocktails to the variety of food, to the dessert! Japanese yakitori and grilled street food and even sashimi! My new favorite! A must if you live or are visiting San Francisco! Oh! And tonight is not the night to skip dessert! 😘“

“Came here New Year’s Eve and they’re open! Amazing friendly cozy clean ambience ❤️ we got the goat curry, chicken curry, jhol momo and they were all delicious - rich but not overpowering. The carrot pudding was a tad too sweet for me but still good. Def coming back !!“

“The importance of an experienced and friendly chef should not be overlooked. Too many times I have found restaurants where the chef disregards the customer's opinion due to perceived lack of expertise in the culinary craft. That isn't the case here. Chef Bobby spoke to every diner during my visit and listened to our feedback, as well as provided some backstory and reason to his processes. It was a very warm and engaging experience, which helped us better understand the food. This is always a good thing.

The prices here are excellent, especially for the quality. I don't need to talk about the all you can drink deal, but it's what you'd expect and really great for the price again.

I have nothing bad to say as a customer, but I noted throughout the night how the layout of the restaurant causes the robot server to impede the staff's ability to quickly move around the restaurant. This is due to the hallway layout causing only one person to be able to walk through at a time, sometimes while shuffling behind the robot. I know it's a unique piece for the restaurant, but I wonder if it's really necessary. I imagine it would be pretty annoying for all involved parties during busy hours. On the other hand, the train is a much more efficient design although it lacks the ability to move larger dishes.“

“Mixed crowd 25+. Drinks were definitely worth it. A few people got up to dance, mainly a bar lounge.Dj was awesome. Food choices were meh 😐, however, what I ordered was okay. I'd recommend this spot for a crowd that wants to chill and enjoy music.“
