Burgeon Brewery has set the bar high for craft beer in Carlsbad. We stopped by on a recommendation and were blown away by their IPA selection. The DDH Juice Press was so good we brought cans home! Other standouts in our flight included Turtle Power, Treevana, and Cloud Chaser—all bursting with flavor.

The brewery’s relaxed atmosphere paired with BBQ from the Thumbs Up Food Truck made our visit memorable. The brisket with spicy sauce was smoky perfection and matched the beers beautifully. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this place is a true gem.“

If you have been here before, come again and check it out again. If you have never been here come out on Thurday nights, watch some Football, practice your short game or hit the golf simulators or better yet play some Cornhole with North County Cornhole. “After playing pickleball for a few hours we were ready for a drink. It was a little late and these guys were open a little later so we went here. They have a great menu, I had the 3 Citrus Gose, which won gold at the Great American Beer Festival, and it definitely deserved it! He went for the Blackberry Hibiscus Sour and that was also phenomenal. They have food out back so we had a pepperoni pizza and it was just a great way to end the evening. Larry was lots of fun to talk to, from beer to baseball to music he has stories. Definitely a great place to hang out if you're in the area!“

“Absolutely Outstanding Experience at Harland Brewing & URBN Pizza! I recently hosted a birthday party for about 60 people at the Harland Brewing outdoor patio, and I can't say enough great things about the experience. The entire Harland staff went above and beyond—they moved and added tables, provided extra plates, turned on the outdoor heaters, and made sure all my guests were comfortable and well taken care of. Their service was fast, friendly, and incredibly thoughtful throughout the evening.

We also ordered pizza and salad from URBN next door, which was a huge hit. The food was delicious, came out quickly, and paired perfectly with Harland’s excellent selection of beers.

“I was apprehensive about trying this place, I thought it was just all Mexican beer. However you do not need to put any kind of citrus in this beer to make it taste good. It's actually good beer. Wifi, TVs and indoor outdoor space make it ideal for people watching or mingling. “Haven't been here in years! Met up with friends for dinner on a Saturday evening and there were lots of open tables on their patio. All the tables against the Japanese pond were reserved.

I ordered the Salmon and quinoa dish and it was pretty good. The portion was a good size. We also ordered the carne asada fries appetizer and I really liked that one too. We don't recommend the Pastrami plate though. It was fatty and falling apart. But the side salad substitution for fries was delicious.

Forgot our server's name but he was great. I couldn't decide on a couple of beers and he offered to give me samples before I ordered. He also took great care of us all evening.“
