She not only not charged me for the chips after explaining the situation but gave me quite a large portion. I know chips are cheap but this small painless interaction was just so appreciated. “Without a doubt, this is our favorite Russian/Ukrainian grocery store in Los Angeles! We drove a long way just to shop here, and it was absolutely worth it.
The selection is incredible—you can find almost everything from Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union. It brought back so many memories! We ended up spending almost $800 because there were so many amazing products we wanted to take home.
We bought red and black caviar, fresh homemade meals, dairy products, kefir, pomegranate juice, ice cream, snacks, and so many other authentic products. Everything was fresh, high quality, and delicious.
The homemade food is outstanding. We especially loved the Ukrainian borscht, Uzbek plov, beef stroganoff, stuffed cabbage rolls (golubtsy), chicken kabobs, lamb chops, syrniki, crepes, Olivier salad, and homemade pastries. It honestly tastes like real homemade cooking.
The staff was friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent customer service. The store is clean, well organized, and fully stocked with authentic products that are very difficult to find anywhere else.
If you’re looking for authentic Eastern European, Russian, Ukrainian, or Georgian food, this is the place to visit. We highly recommend this store and will definitely be coming back. Thank you for such an amazing shopping experience!”

The macha was perfect as well. I believe what makes this a place I will come back to are the organic good quality ingredients they use and the attention to flavors. It's important to cook with care. But random happenstance had me doing business on this particular block of Ventura Blvd and craving a bagel at the same time. I went into Abraham bagel and ordered my favorite, the onion bagel. It is difficult to explain the experience; bagels are 80% texture. And Abraham Bagel wasn't just better than Western Bagel. It was a unique, interesting texture that I'd never experienced in a bagel before. A little bit harder than the Western, but also in this zone of perfection. This bagel that I ate forced me to re-evaluate my bagel scale. I am in awe.”

Clean and well organized, with friendly accommodating baristas who provide fast service. An abundance of outdoor seating as well. Aaaand prices lower than at some much inferior locations (see my review on the Valley Village 4800 Laurel Canyon location). Aaaaand plenty of parking! Aaaaaand a drive-through! C'mon now!”

“I decided to eat here with my family for breakfast after the first day of Hanukkah and the owners communiciated with me that it will be around 35-45 minute wait for food due to high number of customers ordering on site and online. Sat outside but decided to walk inside to order latte's and bake goods meanwhile. Inside is DEVINE. It was full of customers waiting to buy the Chanukah donuts (seasonal only, I was told) and we ended up taking to our table all 14 flavors of delicious mouthful. and took another 12 special assorted flavors to go to gift to our family friend. Time went by quickly shared with my good company and inside this family-oriented environment. Everybody was working hard, and the food was worth the anticipation. My family and I walked out pleased and impressed by their quality. We will all be coming back in again.”

“Our dinner last night at IHOP was outstanding. I believe the difference was the service we received from Benjamin. We were greeted with friendliness and a smile as soon as we walked in the door and were seated promptly. Beverage order taken and filled quickly. All options and substitutions we addressed and accepted. The food was delicious, exactly how we wanted it, and served in a timely manner. Benjamin made sure our drinks were always full. He was really on top of everything during our meal making it a very smooth experience. We have gone to this IHOP many times over the years and typically the service is adequate. Unfortunately the previous time we had gone it was terrible. So much so that we addressed it with the manager another day. They offered to comp us a dinner, but that wasn't what we wanted, just better service. We decided to give them one last shot before writing them off. Last night was the complete opposite in the best way. Just service that went above and beyond any expectations. Benjamin really made all the difference and he is the reason will continue to go to this IHOP.”
