“Went here for my brother’s birthday. The food was absolutely delicious. Great location too. They were very kind and attentive even though we had a bigger party and ended up stay close to 3 hours . I was for sure they would try to rush us out but no they let us do our thing. If you haven’t checked them out yet, do it. You won’t be disappointed.“

My only con which wasn’t to intense was that there was not too much space. But they accommodated us to the bar. So overall by heart, it a 5 star!

“Came in for lunch when they opened on a Friday. There was no lunch rush crowd, but there should be. People are friendly, food is spectacular, and the place is well kept. Tried the Thai Chicken, was told it was really spicy (vs their Spicy Chicken made with Sriracha). It wasn't terribly spicy but had a phenomenal flavor. They also had a great lunch special plate with a few gyoza and a beverage (normally a plate is just the meat, rice, and salad) which was a great value. If you like teriyaki, definitely hit this place up!“

“This is such a hidden gem. Cam, the owner, along with his wife and a small team helpful employees made our night. The omakase is awesome and the quality of the fish was outstanding. The care put into our food and the explanation of each dish helped me not only walk away extremely satisfied, but also with a better knowledge of Japanese cuisine. Make sure to call a week or two ahead of time for the omakase!“

My husband and I have tried this place three times so far(all take out) and we love it! We especially enjoy their beef bibimbap and pork katsu curry. We also tried the kimchi fried rice, cup bab, and kimbap, which were tasty too, but those two are our favorites. The service is friendly, and the portions are generous! They sell mini bamboo plants for just 10 dollars each. They also sell fun snacks, cute candies, and other things.“

While visiting Folsom I stumbled upon this gem of a place. I ordered a rice teriyaki dish with tofu and vegetables.
It was excellent!! Real tofu not the spongy kind. The portion was a good size. It was so tasty and light. Not full of oil. The owner, I'm assuming, was friendly and had lots of pride on his excellent dish. I ordered a to go chicken noodle dish for my son. He also raved about how good it was. My new favorite place to go to.“

I called to ask what happened, but what I was told is that all I could do is come pick up my already cold order. It was good but cold. “I really don’t want more people to find out about this secret spot, but amazing. I’m kinda meh about seafood but this place has me coming 1-2 times a month per tradition. Best fish to rice ratio on nigiri ever. Quality is top notch for all you can eat. Gyoza (potstickers) and bulgogi (beef) make great appetizers. Best of all they don’t make you wait too long between plates. But expect a wait to get in as it is very popular. Expect 30,60,90 minute wait times if you’re coming on a weekend or busy times. But go go go.

Went with a few buddies, and we got some apps and each got two rolls. We left completely stuffed and happy. We didn't even finish our apps, even though we wanted to.

I would recommend trying the Roger roll. It comes out on its own plate, and is on fire to start! It was the first time I had a flambéed sushi roll, and it definitely imparted an irresistible flavor to it (similar to wok hei).“

I walked into the restaurant and was greeted by a young man behind the counter. I thought it was nice to see the menu very large on the wall. Easy for someone who wants to take-out. The establishment is nice and was very clean. I don't think I would have stayed because it was very hot inside. Almost as hot as it was outside. I think this restaurant needs better ventilation. “Gift card scam. Mikunis implemented a new protocol in 2022. Any gift cards that were purchased before a certain (unknown) date, and now utilized, will be zeroed out. Back story: I attempted to use a gift card today (April 2023) and was informed it had a zero balance. The server kept my card. I had a gut feeling, asked for the card back. I spoke to the manager about how I could have a zero balance when I had never used it. The manager informed me that corporate zeroed out all gift cards that weren’t used. In order for me to get my money on the gift card, I have to call corporate headquarters and “request” an inquiry; which I did to no avail. It’s not about “expired” gift cards. It’s about not informing consumers ahead of a new rule that gift cards be zeroed out before a certain date. I’ve used 10 year old gift cards at other restaurants without any problem. Biggest scam ever.“
