“Stopped by recently on a hot summer day for some gelato. Talk about a perfect repast to beat the summer heat. I had hazelnut and mango, and the portions are very generous. I didn't ask, but I think they make the cones in-house. Anyway, strange combination, I know. The mango was immediately delicious but I think I messed up combining the two because when it came time for the hazelnut, I was too full to truly enjoy the depth of flavor. Next time, I'll get it to take home. I love the location, it's in one of my favorite areas of San Rafael with shopping, good food and entertainment in abundance. Haven't had the pizza yet, but I'm a New Yorker and we're picky about our slices!“

“The restaurant is lovely, it feels like a small small trataria Italy. The service was perfect, very conscious of the customer's needs. The burrata salad was delicious as was the pizza. The pizzas are cooked, as one would expect in a wood fired stove and are absolutely the best in every way. I want to go back and go through the menu and eat every thing.“

Not very busy, a couple of TV’s for sports, honestly for me love this atmosphere. Oh and big plus they are dog friendly. You will enjoy your time here if you are not in a rush or trying to be too “Marin”“

I was sitting at the bar for about and hour. There were at least 3 different occasions, the door would open and people would come in, just to say Hi.

“Stefano's is our favorite work night pizza place! Thursday us pizza night at our house, and we stop by for quick slices and salad. The food is always delicious and the staff are friendly and helpful. It's also fun to listen to Brazilian Portuguese being spoken. All I can say is "Obregado!"“

“This place was excellent! A little hole in the wall right off of the 101. Me and my husband were driving home late from SF and wanted to grab a bite to eat on the way home. This place is open until 130 in the morning, so makes a great late night option. The crust is made of sourdough and is the perfect amount of crispy and chewy. The sauce was tangy and rich and the toppings tasted fresh. Overall 10/10. The atmosphere wasn't anything to write home about but the food and the guy making the pizzas were excellent and made the hole in the wall vibe. Will go again the next time I'm driving out of the city late at night.“

“My wife and I and our kid were on a road trip to Santa Rosa going for the first time and we needed a quick place to stop for lunch. We found this pizza place and it worked out Perfectly! It was a nice sit-down fast enough experience and the pizza was surprisingly tasty yummy full of flavor and cooked crispy fresh and the pasta was yummy rich flavor as well! They had good garlic bread well. Plus a nice kid's menu with crayons and a coloring page for our child. The prices were reasonable and the service was prompt and professional. We had never eaten at a Red Boy franchise before and I would like to try it again. I am really Thankful it was convenient and good for my Family!

“Really good pizza if you like the basics. You get your monies worth as that small looking square has a least as much ingredient as a typical XL pie. 3 of us can barely finish one. No margherita, no summer squash blend, etc., just lots of cheese and toppings like sausage, pepperoni, olives, etc. The online ordering and fast food style takeout look like they are hoping to sell franchises. This gives off a cheap vipe, imo, which clashes with the high price and high quality. The crust is unique in a good way. Kind of rubbery and crunchy at the same time. And the red sauce is perfect.“

Lots of TVs, so we could watch both the MLB playoffs and college football, and our server was genuinely great — friendly and helpful. That said, it definitely leans more toward an adult vibe. Even though there’s an arcade, the prices are a bit steep ($17 for a kid’s spaghetti and one meatball). And the playlist? Let’s just say it was giving “bow chicka bow wow late-night R&B” energy — not exactly the soundtrack I expected for family pizza night at 6:30 p.m on a Saturday. We’ll probably go back, but next time, maybe earlier in the day when hopefully it’s more family-friendly.“

“Really surprised this nondescript hole in the wall joint had excellent pizza! The service was super fast too despite the shop being busy, I could see staff hurrying to make more pizza as flavors ran out. They sell pizza by the slice so it's super convenient to grab a bite here.“

“Red boy has long been our favorite pizza place around Southern Marin. The sausage they use is particularly good. Unfortunately, lately who's ever making the crust is not evening it out properly. The crust under the fillings is way too thin and most of the bread has been pushed out to the rim which is now way too fat. Hopefully it's just a temporary problem with a new pizza maker learning the craft, but we did not enjoy eating big gobs of bread the last two times.“
