“On Easter Sunday after church my sister and another good friend were in the mood for Mediterranean food. We looked on Yelp and were happy to see beautiful reviews for Ali Baba Cafe. Let me tell you this restaurant did not disappoint on any level! A family atmosphere, with yummy aromas throughout we sat, were greeted my a joyful young man who was stellar in his service, getting us seated and started with water and tea. Then the waiter came and shared more about the menu favorites and the differences between certain dishes which was very helpful. The Hummus was amazing! Then each of the dishes we ordered two of ordered lamb dishes and one a beef dish, all were very delicious. The portions were plentiful! Then I ordered the most delectable baklava flaky and soaked in (honey I believe) but the most perfect balance. We will surely be back to this blessed restaurant. What a great first experience. Thank you to all those who served us with excellence from the seating to, taking our order to when we checked out and paid leaving out. Each person greeted us with joy. I give five stars when a restaurant meets criteria important to me: ease of parking nice/clean interior friendly service excellent food fair prices About the food... we shared this plate that had each kabab. Never had such tender steak or chicken. The salad had a dressing that was the most delicious I've ever had. The owner let me try this yogurt drink. So interesting and strangely addictive that comforted my full belly! Loved this place.“

I’ve made a list and have tried a good amount of local shops but to be honest haven’t been too impressed compared to trying coffee in the deep of LA. I was craving a smooth expresso for some reason this Saturday night and decided to continue my search and figured I’d give California Coffee a try. It was a little hard to find because it’s tucked away in a cute little alley next to brewery’s and beautiful lights. I tried my classic iced vanilla latte and my barista who I didn’t get his name (had a pretty impressive beard) asked me how I liked my coffee which I have never been asked before. This coffee was elite, super smooth, and velvety. I LOVED IT. I will definitely be coming back and thank you to the kind bearded barista that made me such a great latte. Definitely come here if you are a coffee snob like me and looking for amazing expresso, a cute atmosphere, and superior service. :)“

“We have been going here for years now. The fun memories that were had eating amazing food and the good old water fountain. The food is great and there is something for everyone. They had great drinks and their frozen yogurt was so good. They are a great local business to support. If you want to call in a pick they are always on it and you never wait for your food. For a great lunch or dinner place this a great option! They have options for inside and outside sitting and they always have nice calm music on. I have never had to shout and talk loud to say something to my friends or family while eating.“

“We love this place. My family and I come here a few times a month just to enjoy some good food, friendly staff, and good service. The beers are cold, the carnitas, asada, verde, burritos and tacos are amazing. That's all I ever seem to eat there. My daughter only really eats their rice (she's 2) but we slip some veggies and meat in when we can. Also the tortillas seem to be handmade old school style like my grandmas made. In fact I think we'll go again tonight!“
