“Visited for lunch today. It was fabulous. I recommend the chef specials...delicious and I learned so much! ask for the chopped jalapeno sauce :)”
“WOW, amazing BBQ! The meats were juicy and tender. You can tell the food and desserts are made with love. The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff and owner had wonderful hospitality. This is a little piece of the South nestled in Folsom. I will be back and recommending this place!”
“Maybe the very best brussel sprouts I have ever eaten. Our server was so sure of herself, I decided to let her choose my dish. She picked the aioli spicy chicken sandwich (I would have picked a burger). I am glad I did. I was able to enjoy something delightful I may not have ever tried. Definitely a food stop in Folsom. I found it by looking at reviews. Represa Grill had the highest rating and well deserved.”

“Highly recommend this place! Food was delicious and service was amazing. Great beer, seafood and steak! 🫶 we loved it 👍”
“This place was worst every bite. The owner was very personable and took care of us. This sushi quality is amazing they could definitely charge more if they wanted but the price is so reasonable. If I lived in the area, I would come here every day.”

“I’ve been to this place once visiting my cousin and to say it was the best steak I’ve ever tasted in my ever loving life would be a huge understatement! I don’t know when I will ever make it to that part of the country (I live in South Carolina) but when I do, Sutter Street will definitely be on the itinerary!”
“A month or two ago I noticed the Mexican restaurant on Natoma St across from City Hall had become Halal Grill Express. So I thought I’d give it a try.
WOW ?… what a find! I’ve been back every week since! The decor is very simple and casual and spotlessly clean. Not the place to take your date if you’re looking for a romantic atmosphere … but their food is soooo fresh, and tasty, and delicious. The owner is very friendly and upbeat and always smiling.
What it lacks in ambiance it more than makes up for in excellent fresh and tasty Middle Eastern food. Prices are very reasonable and the portions are generous…unless I’m really hungry… I almost always take a little home for a snack or even another meal. My new GoTo for a quick healthy meal in Folsom!”

“As a skeletal being, I don’t often indulge in the pleasures of the culinary world, but my recent visit to Umami Ramen was a delightful exception. Upon entering, I was greeted by the rich aroma of simmering broth that tantalized my non-existent taste buds. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with wooden accents and dim lighting—perfect for a bony figure seeking refuge from the chill of the grave. I opted for the signature ramen, “shiro ramen” a spine-tingling favorite. The broth was rich and deeply savory, with layers of umami that could awaken even the most dormant of bones. Each slurp brought a satisfying warmth that sent shivers down my… well, you get the idea. The noodles were perfectly chewy, a delightful contrast to my otherwise brittle frame. I appreciated how they held onto the broth, ensuring each bite was flavorful. The toppings—a generous scattering of green onions and a perfectly cooked soft-boiled egg—were visually appealing and added a delightful texture. For a skeleton, the highlight was undoubtedly the marrow-infused broth, which was rich enough to make me almost forget my lack of flesh. It was comforting in a way that transcended the corporeal. Service was friendly, and the staff even chuckled at my bony demeanor, which I took as a compliment. Overall, Umami Ramen provided an experience that was both hearty and hauntingly good. In conclusion, I may not have the capacity to eat in the traditional sense, but I can confidently say this ramen is to die for. Highly recommended for all the living and the occasionally wandering skeletal souls.”
“The food here is absolutely incredible and super affordable, you get plenty of portions and it tastes great every single time. Really nice pickup and delivery options, too. If someone is ever looking for a new place to try I couldn't recommend Folsom Pizza & Kabob more.
I always order the Combo Plate with cilantro hummus and extra pita, it's soo good 🎉 Their pizza is also very good too! I wouldn't say there isn't anything not worth getting off their menu. I've never been disappointed with their food.”
“Don't let the strip mall location fool you, this Thai restaurant is a hidden gem that absolutely blew me away! The service was truly outstanding, going above and beyond to ensure a great dining experience.
Every single dish was bursting with flavor, but their Khao Soi was, without a doubt, the best I've ever had. They even took the time to suggest perfect pairings of their delicious chili crunch with a couple of dishes, which was such a thoughtful touch.
Though I don't live in the state, I'll absolutely go out of my way to visit and support this incredible family-run restaurant whenever I can.”
“The food here is really delicious and comes out fresh and hot. The service was great. We were offered water refills, asked how everything was and if there was anything else we wanted, often. As of October 2024 I would recommend keeping your party to 4 or less people or ordering to-go because the tables/booths are fairly small. The place was very clean inside. I would definitely recommend this place.”
“Sometimes the best memories are the unplanned ones. What started as a spontaneous date day adventure led us to the charming streets of Historic Folsom, where we stumbled upon Plank’s Craft Kitchen & Bar — a rustic gem with just the right mix of cozy and cool. From the moment we walked in, the hospitality was impeccable. The service? Flawless. Our server was on point from start to finish — warm welcome, perfectly timed courses, and not once did our glasses go dry. Everything flowed with such ease, it felt like we were regulars. Drinks first, because priorities: • The Lake Lennon was a total hit — crisp, refreshing, and that subtle hint of cucumber was chef’s kiss. • The Strawberry Gimlet was almost too easy to drink. Sweet, smooth, and gone in the blink of an eye. • The Bees Knees packed the strongest punch of the three, but when I asked for a splash of lemonade to mellow it out, they happily brought it over — instantly elevated the whole experience. Appetizer: We went with the cheese curds, and let me tell you, these weren’t your average bar snack. Lightly crisped on the outside, gooey on the inside, and paired with a homemade marinara that deserves its own spotlight. I genuinely contemplated licking the bowl. No shame. Main Course: We split the Cali Club — and it was everything. Super fresh, balanced flavors, and not a trace of that questionable chicken you sometimes get in sandwiches (IYKYK). The tater tots were golden and perfectly crunchy, and the trio of dipping sauces (chipotle, ranch, and ketchup) were clearly house-made and next-level tasty. In short, Plank’s delivered big time. Whether you’re planning a night out or just happen to wander in like we did, this place hits all the right notes — delicious food, creative drinks, and stellar service. We left full, happy, and already plotting our return.”
“Pleasantly surprised.....in the heart of Palladio in Folsom is a restaurant that caught my eye, Back Bistro. Today I made a stop just after 3pm, what a find! Happy hour everyday from 3 to 6pm. Great selection of happy hour appetizers and drinks. My favs were the Tequila Sour, Ahi Poke Wontons, Philly Cheese Steak Sliders, and Cajun fries. Limited but good beer specials as well. Great bar service, good value and specials, see pics. The place does not disappoint. I am definitely coming back.”

“It's been so difficult, post-pandemic, to find good, quality, delicious food places. This place gives me hope. Hands down some of the BEST food I've had at a kabob restaurant. No exaggeration. It's clear they use quality ingredients, and know how to cook. I legit had an emotional moment with my chicken kabob plate lol. The gyros are super yummy too. Definitely coming back, and definitely recommending them to anyone looking for a good gyro or kabob!”
“What a great spot! Come in the morning for a coffee and breakfast burrito or amazing breakfast sandwich, come back for lunch and a cold brew, then return for dinner, live music, and a beer or glass of wine. The staff know what quality customer service is. The owner makes you feel like your old friends. Always clean. Prompt service. It's the type of place everyone wishes they had in their town. So thankful we found Coffee Republic.”
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Gold Miner Café is hands down one of the best spots around. The food is absolutely amazing, fresh, flavorful, and made with love. The service is just as impressive, warm and attentive from the moment you walk in. The owner, China, is one of the hardest-working people I know. Her dedication and passion shine through in everything she does. She and her team go above and beyond to create an unforgettable experience every time. If you haven’t been here yet, you’re seriously missing out. This place is a gem, run by incredible people and built on heart, hustle, and quality.”

“Recently ate lunch here and was so pleasantly surprised! Our meals were made to order and you could see the cooking staff making the meals. Had Kung Pow Chicken, Won Ton Soup and a beef dish I forget. What I won’t forget is how delicious it all was. And generous portions! Needed to go boxes. This place is a hidden gem. It’s now on my radar. Hope people come in to give it a try! Really sweet staff and nothing bad to say. I love this place!”
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Red Hot Chilli Pepper in Folsom, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish. Snehal, the manager, has truly worked wonders in creating a unique and vibrant dining experience. What sets this place apart is not just its Indo Chinese cuisine but also the warm and inviting atmosphere that permeates the entire establishment. Being the only Indo Chinese restaurant in the Sacramento area, Red Hot Chilli Pepper has carved a niche for itself, and I must say, it's a niche well worth exploring. The moment I stepped in, I was greeted by a welcoming vibe that instantly made me feel at home. One standout aspect of my visit was the impeccable service provided by Praveen, an exceptional waiter who went above and beyond to ensure my dining experience was nothing short of extraordinary. His fast and friendly service added to the overall positive impression of the restaurant. Now, let's talk about the food--a true highlight of my visit. I started with the TROPICAL "LYCHEE" MARTINI, a delightful concoction that blended the sweetness of lychee with the kick of vodka. It set the perfect tone for the culinary journey that followed. The Chilli Chicken, ordered at medium spice level, was an absolute winner. Cooked to perfection with just the right amount of spices, it left my taste buds dancing with joy. Following that, I indulged in some vegetarian momos that were a burst of flavor and texture. The softness of the momo paired with the delicious filling made it a memorable dish. The Calcutta Chicken transported me straight to the streets of Calcutta. The authenticity of the dish was unparalleled, and I appreciated the chef's dedication to preserving traditional flavors. To wrap up my meal, I opted for the detox tea--a refreshing and healthy choice that perfectly concluded the culinary journey. The attention to detail in both food and beverages truly sets Red Hot Chilli Pepper apart. The ambiance of the restaurant is another noteworthy aspect. It's evident that careful thought has gone into creating an atmosphere that complements the dining experience. The result is an ambiance that enhances the joy of savoring each dish. In conclusion, my experience at Red Hot Chilli Pepper was nothing short of fantastic. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to indulge in more of their delectable offerings. Kudos to Snehal, Praveen, and the entire team for creating a culinary haven in Folsom!”
“Great food, great staff, overall great environment. Not many meals at restaurants are easy with a 2 and 4 year old.. but this was great! They even had crayons and pizza coloring pages for the kids. And they have the good round little ice! We will definitely go back again!”
“First of all the location is perfect. Staff are always awesome, food is delicious. Events are great fun! I’ve done many of them and always a nice time. They pour for the people at The Vine! Love this place and the peeps! TJ”
Takeout Restaurants
“Very nice/polite and attentive counter person, very personable. Best chicken sandwiches I’ve ever had. Fries WAY above average, and the overhead soundtrack music was excellent! Did I mention they were the best chicken sandwiches ever? Really wish I lived closer but this is a new must-stop whenever I/we go to Folsom.”
“From the moment we walked into Mantra, we were warmly welcomed and seated right away. The staff was genuinely kind and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service made it even better. Mantra has a cozy, welcoming vibe that makes you feel right at home. Can’t wait to come back!”

“Burgers are delicious! Bacon tasted funny though. They need to stop using the to-go tableware that they're currently using. It's the eco-friendly crap... the fork broke when I opened the package and the spoon broke immediately after barely touching my food. I'm just a girl, so I'm not THAT strong. Also, the napkin in the package smelled like B.O.”
“Been supporting this place most of my teens and college years, I recommend this place to anyone looking for a lot of variety such as , pho , Banh Mi , snacks , drinks and anyone looking for ready to go food. Come early sometimes lines can be long. Expect delays too , sometimes they are short staff and get help from security which really is a great help to them.”

Drive-Thru Restaurants
“I always have a great experience at this location, E. Bidwell, Folsom, CA. Pizza is delicious, staff is courteous, ordering and paying online is easy.
Vegetarian options: Vegetarian pizza is loaded with vegetables.
Dietary restrictions: One family member is vegetarian, another is gluten free. We can accommodate everyone here.”
“Finally, another variety of Asian food in Folsom! The restaurant is still having River Thai sign at the front so it was a bit confusing. There are 2 kiosks to order the food or you can go to the cashier to order.
The service is semi self service. They brought our food to the table in brown to-go boxes. However, the portion was generous for the price.
- Hainan chicken rice: the chicken pieces were perfectly cooked and juicy (but a little bit bland for my taste). The rice was fluffy. The soup broth was good and very hearty.
- Crispy chicken with rice: it’s my favorite between the two. The coating was crispy and flavorful while the chicken meat was still juicy. My favorite part was the spicy sauce! It was delicious!!!
I will definitely come back for more and try different menu.”
“Coffee is the best in town, but they’re also a business that gives back to the community! After reaching out to support a nonprofit event, Temple promptly responded that they’d cover the coffee…for 50 people! Amazed by their generosity and very thankful to have Temple in Davis.”
“As a German and Starbucks-influenced coffee drinker, some of my American friends suggested I try Peet's Coffee. This chain is supposed to be better... at least in line with Starbucks' throne.I was in Folsom / CA, had time and... lo and behold... a Peet's Coffee branch in front of me. Yippeeh... into it.The guest area is a little smaller... cute. The rest is based on the green Statbucks brand...Coffee heavenly (2 large lattes), with a bacon/cheese sandwich. Great... Bought a cold brewed cream coffee and an orange juice to take away (also delicious). Conclusion ...No mistake going to Peet's Coffee... friendly staff, a little more familiar than Starbucks. The Americans know coffee... and the atmosphere around it.Whether green or red... delicious and recommended.
Parking: Small mall with its own parking lot.
Wheelchair accessibility: ... wheelchairs are also very welcome. No input problems...”
“I. LOVE. NEKTER! I’m so glad you’re in my area. I’ve even got my sister in Vegas hooked on it. I usually use the app to order which is super convenient. I just want you all to know, the people in the Folsom location are always friendly and pleasant, which isn’t always the case today. I’ve done SO many of the cleanses, smoothies, juices, açaí bowls and protein balls. It’s always delicious 🤤 (I literally got a smoothie and juice today 😂).”
“Riley’s on Sutter isn’t just a restaurant – it’s a place overflowing with heart, soul, and genuine connection. Back in December, my family was dining there when the owner came over and shared his story behind Riley’s, a tribute to a beloved Labrador who changed his life. He took the time to truly connect with us, and we left thinking, “Wow, this guy is different. He cares.” Fast forward seven months, and I reached out to him with a heartbreaking story about our extended family’s red fox lab, Wrigley, who we lost suddenly and tragically. I hoped he could do something small to honor Wrigley, but his response overwhelmed us. He listened deeply, reacted with empathy, and went above and beyond to honor this pup in a way that brought us comfort and healing. Riley’s on Sutter has now become a special place for our family to gather and remember Wrigley. Beyond the incredible kindness of the owner, the food is phenomenal and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. We’ve interacted with several staff members, all of whom were exceptionally nice—and yes, they all seem to be dog lovers! I even joked with one employee that it must be a job requirement. Thank you to everyone at Riley’s on Sutter for creating such a meaningful and memorable place. We are forever grateful.”
Cheap Eats
“I come here a lot for myself or for gifts, and there’s the best cookies freshly baked. I always end up buying more than what I came in for because they’re just so freaking good. Way better than crumble cookies. These are still soft and chewy but baked perfectly! Support small businesses like this awesome one! Pricing is fair and totally worth my money! 🌟”
“Nice place. I’ve been driving by daily since it opened and I decided I’d try it. I’m not a fan of boba and every boba drink I’ve tried I’ve hated. I am pleased to say I really like what I ordered and I will definitely be back. I’m not sure if I’ll try something else - but I like this one.
(Some small sample sizes would be great - I’d like to try other flavors - but do not want to order a full size for a sip)”
“great boba, great prices, and very nice workers!
I wanted to try the ceylon tea, but I was worried I wouldn't like it, so I asked for a sample. the worker was happy to give me one and the tea was really good too- I will definitely be getting it next time!
I ended up ordering the Hokkaido milk tea, one of my favorite flavors, 50% sweet with boba. flavor was amazing, perfectly creamy, the boba was cooked very well, and nothing was overwhelmingly sweet either.
you can also order on tablets which I appreciate very much!!
the store itself was beautiful but a tad bright, I guess very fitting of the store's name ?
will definitely be coming back :)”
“Great food and friendly service. This is a favorite go to for me for lunch. All items I have had are very good. Fresh salsa bar with a bean dip that is fantastic on the provided chips.
Portions are hearty and prices are reasonable. The lunch specials are fantastic. Not many places you can get 2 tacos, beans and rice for under $9 with good quality now a days.
I definitely recommend trying this place out”
“I've been a frequent customer of "The Rabbit" since its inception,I've literally had everything on the past and present menus and will attest with the other reviewers I've never been dissatisfied/disappointed.I have to step outside my intention of rating this Pub/restaurant and comment "Why do people of color "Black people" have to raise a stink about race?? Toxic!! and let's keep life simple, practice kindness and respect for others. By the way I absolutely love The Fat Rabbit,go check it out. Remember to read the very legible chalkboard which is right at the main entrance stating "Please order at THE BAR. "All lives matter were all on the same planet. P.S.the staff is wonderful and helpful.”
“Really, really incredible place. I’m a vegetarian and sometimes it’s hard to eat out and get really great vegetarian food. Here you get huge portions of really great food for a good price. My dad had the gyros, which he described as tender and flavorful. The falafels are so fresh and the texture is perfect. We were so eager to eat I didn’t take a photo of the beautiful plate before we dove in, but here’s an idea of the portion size (imagine a lot more falafels). So good i’ve eaten here twice in the past three days.”
“Drinks and service are good. Food is delicious! Corn dogs, popcorn chicken, fries, and mozzarella sticks were super yummy and fresh. We always stop by here after going to 99 ranch. Definitely recommend.
The corn dogs I had on 6/28/25 were not the same as the one I had last week. The size, taste, and look are completely different. The old one was much bigger and yummier. The new ones taste store bought :(”
“traveled to Folsom today and chose seasons for lunch. SO glad we did. we shared a seasons salad and a turkey brie panini. Both absolutely delish! went back after shopping and tried their House made ice cream and sorbet. wonderful!!! Food was great, friendly wonderful service. we'll be back!”
“PERFECTION! My wife and I have been meaning to try this place out for quite a while, but we end up going somewhere else. We FINALLY popped in on sunday, holy cow, the food was AMAZING. The cheesy pull-apart bread, beyond good, it was like crack. The pot stickers, house-made, and the best I've ever had. Not by a little, by a lot. My ruben sandwich was 10/10... best I've ever had... it displaced the previous first place from 20 years ago in New Orleans. My wife just had a salad, but it was a monster, super fresh, and had a ton of blue cheese crumbles on it. This dinner we had, it was destination grade, and there's no place we can think of in 50 miles that even comes close. You can tell they use top notch ingredients... just sooooo good. Wait staff was super friendly, it was just so good I can't even say it enough.
We'll be coming here a lot!”
“We go here all the time and this time it took forever to get our drinks . At 130 In afternoon it is not busy rush hour time and we were disappointed at how long it took especially since we had company with us”

“The mushroom door was outstanding. Excellent flavors, very authentic. Blacken Chicken was perfectly charred on the outside and very moist inside. All of the dishes are so adorable. Pleasantly unique.”
“Our server, Jeffrey was excellent and very informative! The busboy was very attentive. And cleared plates and refilled water often! Always patrolling and on the lookout! My pasta campagnia & my husbands veal, parmigiana were excellent! We also ordered a small pizza (to go) but had to have one slice! Great pizza! Then pumpkin gelato to share & finish our meal! Brought leftovers of each one home! So much food, so much goodness!”

“Just got 2 sandwiches and I messed up the order, size, type of sandwich but the young lady working was so nice and I just was certain that the sandwiches would be amazing and they were. She wasn't annoyed or frustrated as I said yes this way than oh wait maybe this also. Not that stuff etc etc. Normally I would assume that whatever Iend up getting it won't be great but this was the opposite, she almost knew what I wanted to order and literally the best sando I've had this year. Amazing all around and I sincerely thank you. Great Job to the young lady at Folsom store!!”
“We visited the Folsom location and went in to order, they were exceptional in customer service going above our expectations! Not only the cashier taking our order but the cooks ect. With the food being very good and the customer service we will DEFINITELY be coming back.”

“Went with my wife for our anniversary dinner. We both enjoyed our meals. I had the Angus beef burger and would gladly order it again. We were there at night so we couldn't see much of the lake or scenery, so we would like to go back in the daytime to experience the views with an outside table.”
“Very nice/polite and attentive counter person, very personable. Best chicken sandwiches I’ve ever had. Fries WAY above average, and the overhead soundtrack music was excellent! “Such a great place for dinner & drinks! Patio is so much fun for live music & games! Lots of shade & misters to keep you cool!”
