“Excellent customer service. Tasty authentic food. Great dining experience.”
“I have enjoyed this unique dinning experience several times over the years. Each time offered a unique experience, with each being outstanding. The food and entertainment remind me of a Las Vegas production in both style and quality. The true superstar is Connie in customer service. She made sure all our reservations and meal selections met our needs. She is not only helpful but, she is patient and extremely helpful and delightful. When in doubt, trust her recommendations. Thank You, Connie!”

“Amazing customer service and warm atmosphere! Outdoor heaters and screens made the outdoor seating toasty in the midst of a rainy day and the food is not be missed! (Absolutely loved the Rockin’ Tots!) Shout out to Adam for his amazing service! Great visit and we can’t wait to come back!”
“If you know good food, you know Taj Grill.
The Dal Makhani and Paneer Tikka are on another level. Get the Cheese Naan to go with the Saag Paneer—you won’t regret it. The Kabab was seasoned exactly how it should be.
Big shout-out to Samar. He served the food with class and made sure everything was right. It’s rare to find a place where the service matches the quality of the kitchen.
Top-tier experience. Respect.”

“I’ve been to this place once visiting my cousin and to say it was the best steak I’ve ever tasted in my ever loving life would be a huge understatement! I don’t know when I will ever make it to that part of the country (I live in South Carolina) but when I do, Sutter Street will definitely be on the itinerary!”
“A friend of ours took us to this fabulous gelato store yesterday I’ve never seen anything of sanitary as this which means a lot to me because my husband has Multiple myeloma cancer immune system. I have never in this country had gelato this good. The people that served you were wearing masks and the containers of the gelato were covered not like other stores were. They’re just sitting out exposed . The owner, whose name is Tessa and is absolutely a delight and is just so personable and caring and came over to the table that we were going to sit at without knowing that my husband had cancer and sanitize the table before we sat there, she had no idea he had cancer. The point is not only was the place sanitary like I’ve never seen any gelato place like that before, but the texture and flavor of this gelato was very much like I had in Italy and France you don’t find that here anywhere. I can’t wait to go back. It’s 45 minutes from my house and Rockland and I will drive there just to get their gelato. It’s worth the drive. It’s off of Bidwell in the BelAir shopping center. I highly recommend you try this place it’s absolutely so beautiful inside and so Clean with the flavors of these gelato and the taste is just 10 star . My husband had the coffee and the chocolate and I had the cappuccino and the salted caramel. It was absolutely yummy. I’m retired so it’s worth taking a drive over to Folsom just to get this gelato to me. It’s a destination now. I’ll be going there next week.”
“Halal Grill Express (حلال Kabob+Shashlik) is hands-down one of the best spots in Folsom for anyone craving authentic, high-quality Mediterranean and West Asian flavors. Located right near City Hall, it’s a bright, modern, and welcoming space that clearly prioritizes quality and hospitality.
What Makes it Stand Out:
The Signature Kabobs: You can’t go wrong with the Chicken Kabob Plate. The meat is incredibly tender and perfectly charred, served on a bed of fluffy, seasoned rice that hits the spot every time.
The Hummus & Sides: The hummus here is buttery smooth and tastes amazingly fresh. Even the salad is a highlight—vibrant, crisp, and clearly prepared with care rather than as an afterthought.
Unique Favorites: If you want something a bit different, the Afghani Wrap (stuffed with fries and seasoned meat) and the Loaded Fries with garlic sauce are absolute game-changers.
Hospitality: A huge part of the experience is the owner, Masi. He is genuinely one of the nicest people you'll meet, making everyone feel like a regular from their very first visit.
Whether you’re dining in to enjoy the clean, neon-lit atmosphere or ordering takeout (which is always packed with impressive care), this place never misses. It’s fresh, it’s flavorful, and it’s a must-visit in the area!”

“As a skeletal being, I don’t often indulge in the pleasures of the culinary world, but my recent visit to Umami Ramen was a delightful exception. Upon entering, I was greeted by the rich aroma of simmering broth that tantalized my non-existent taste buds. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with wooden accents and dim lighting—perfect for a bony figure seeking refuge from the chill of the grave. I opted for the signature ramen, “shiro ramen” a spine-tingling favorite. The broth was rich and deeply savory, with layers of umami that could awaken even the most dormant of bones. Each slurp brought a satisfying warmth that sent shivers down my… well, you get the idea. The noodles were perfectly chewy, a delightful contrast to my otherwise brittle frame. I appreciated how they held onto the broth, ensuring each bite was flavorful. The toppings—a generous scattering of green onions and a perfectly cooked soft-boiled egg—were visually appealing and added a delightful texture. For a skeleton, the highlight was undoubtedly the marrow-infused broth, which was rich enough to make me almost forget my lack of flesh. It was comforting in a way that transcended the corporeal. Service was friendly, and the staff even chuckled at my bony demeanor, which I took as a compliment. Overall, Umami Ramen provided an experience that was both hearty and hauntingly good. In conclusion, I may not have the capacity to eat in the traditional sense, but I can confidently say this ramen is to die for. Highly recommended for all the living and the occasionally wandering skeletal souls.”
“Ate here for dinner before going to the movies last week. Food was really good and the service was wonderful. Andy was very helpful with the choice of our food. Going back tomorrow with the family to celebrate our anniversary. We moved here from the Bay Area a year ago and this place exceeded our expectation.”

“I ordered food through DoorDash and, amazingly, everything I ate was exceptional, leading me to discover a new favorite establishment that I also enjoy visiting in person. The generous portions necessitated a nap. Again, I am delighted to have found my new favorite restaurant.”
“Highly recommend this place! Food was delicious and service was amazing. Great beer, seafood and steak! 🫶 we loved it 👍”
“This place was worst every bite. The owner was very personable and took care of us. This sushi quality is amazing they could definitely charge more if they wanted but the price is so reasonable. If I lived in the area, I would come here every day.”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Gold Miner Café is hands down one of the best spots around. The food is absolutely amazing, fresh, flavorful, and made with love. The service is just as impressive, warm and attentive from the moment you walk in. The owner, China, is one of the hardest-working people I know. Her dedication and passion shine through in everything she does. She and her team go above and beyond to create an unforgettable experience every time. If you haven’t been here yet, you’re seriously missing out. This place is a gem, run by incredible people and built on heart, hustle, and quality.”
“Been supporting this place most of my teens and college years, I recommend this place to anyone looking for a lot of variety such as , pho , Banh Mi , snacks , drinks and anyone looking for ready to go food. Come early sometimes lines can be long. Expect delays too , sometimes they are short staff and get help from security which really is a great help to them.”
“I really enjoyed this curry pizza house. I tried 3 different pizzas, a chicken salad, wings and the flavors were rich, well-balanced, and not overpowering. The crust was solid, the toppings were generous, and the curry sauce tasted authentic. The staff were friendly and helpful with spice levels, and the overall vibe was relaxed. I’d definitely come back when I want something different from regular pizza.”
“Great local craft beer taproom with delicious burgers and bar food.”

“I love this place. It's great for business lunch, personal lunch, dinner... heck if they had breakfast I'd probably eat that here too. I love their fresh rolls with peanut sauce, pad thai, yellow curry, and especially the ginger wok dish - my favorite. They accommodate gluten allergy and have coconut or regular dairy for the thai tea. My friends regularly get other amazing dishes that I can't eat but they really enjoy the flavor. Lots of good vegetables. Good lunch specials. Seriously, my favorite thai restaurant in Folsom. I've done dine in and take out with consistent quality. So good.”
“My husband and I recently started coming in here regularly. We first interacted with Drew who was INCREDIBLY helpful and kind, as I was just starting to learn about wine. My husband doesn’t drink, but Drew went above and beyond in making him feel comfortable and included the whole time. Since then, we have interacted with Drew and all the other workers a bunch and have had good experiences every time! Love the wines on their list and their food is shockingly phenomenal for a wine bar. My favorites are the lemon cake and the chips and salsa (come with the tacos on Tuesday)! Will definitely continue to visit!”
“We went for my husband's birthday dinner. We were a big group of about 23 people. We ordered over 36 dishes, and every meal came out piping hot and fast. Ayushi and Preet were meticulous about taking the orders and serving us. It made for a fabulous experience. Definitely going back!!!”
“We got an assortment of dishes for a decent-sized group (15) of family, and everyone truly enjoyed the food. Some even said it was the best they ever had! The food was ready very quickly and they accurately predicated the timing so we got to bring it home hot and fresh. The portions were large enough to split amongst multiple people (2-3 each), but they don't come with rice so be sure to order some with your dish.”
“I’ve always had fun at each location. Most recently we went to the one in the Palladio. There’s always sports on multiple screens & our bartender was so thoughtful & talented. The hostess & everyone was so nice. They took pictures of us, played great music & were super attentive. I’ll keep coming back, love this place.”
“If you're looking for authentic Mexican food, this is the place. I've never had a bad meal here. I must admit that I haven't tried too many items on the menu, because the fish tacos are crazy good. It can get a bit noisey because the place is alway packed. Give it a try, you wont be disappointed.”

“We visited Back Bistro for dinner and the food and general atmosphere was amazing. And a shout-out to our waiter, AJ. He was so fun and gave excellent recommendations! We’ll definitely be visiting again!”
Takeout Restaurants
“I've been eating at this place for years. I'm so happy they've survived the challenges that come with running a small mom and pop shop, including the pandemic when a lot of businesses didn't survive. Their food is craveworthy, their service is always pleasant, and I appreciate that their operation is very clean. This place is a real gem, and if you haven't tried them yet you're missing out. This is my go to cheese steak any time the desire hits (even better than Capriottis!)”
“Always a favorite for youngsters. They changed the flavors often enough so that you get an opportunity to go back and get to try something new. Costco sells their gift cards worth $100 for an $80 price, so that’s a good option if you know you’re gonna go back a few times. Order ahead using that app for faster delivery so that you can get in and get out in a jiffy”
“won’t be coming back to this bubble tea shop. There was no greeting when I walked in. I ordered two drinks and a piece of cake, and they didn’t ask if I wanted a receipt. After waiting six minutes, they had only made one drink. They had to remake the order to get the second drink done, and still didn’t provide a receipt. Maybe they misheard my order, but if they had given me a receipt, I would have noticed right away.
I didn’t leave a tip—first, because there was no customer service attitude, and second, because my order was to-go. Even when they messed up the order, I didn’t receive a single apology. When my order was ready, they just set it on the counter and mumbled something without caring whether I heard it. When I left, there was still no greeting, just two girls behind the counter whispering while looking at me.”
“my adult son and I just walked in, sat down and we were going to order food for both of us and my son had a tea in hand and I had a coffee, we planned on being there for a while and poetically would have gotten drinks at some point. A tall skinny guy says to us across the room, you can't bring drinks in your have to leave. I said we were going to buy two meals, he says "doesn't change the rules!" in a snarky tone! Customer service is everything, does it really hurt anyone that we had a coffee and tea in hand? They just lost 2 meal purchases and now we will never come back here and when one person has a bad experience generally they tell about 24 people in general conversation. Anyone looking for a great coffee shop where they are welcoming to everyone no matter what go to Coffee Republic!!!”
“Riley’s on Sutter isn’t just a restaurant – it’s a place overflowing with heart, soul, and genuine connection. Back in December, my family was dining there when the owner came over and shared his story behind Riley’s, a tribute to a beloved Labrador who changed his life. He took the time to truly connect with us, and we left thinking, “Wow, this guy is different. He cares.” Fast forward seven months, and I reached out to him with a heartbreaking story about our extended family’s red fox lab, Wrigley, who we lost suddenly and tragically. I hoped he could do something small to honor Wrigley, but his response overwhelmed us. He listened deeply, reacted with empathy, and went above and beyond to honor this pup in a way that brought us comfort and healing. Riley’s on Sutter has now become a special place for our family to gather and remember Wrigley. Beyond the incredible kindness of the owner, the food is phenomenal and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. We’ve interacted with several staff members, all of whom were exceptionally nice—and yes, they all seem to be dog lovers! I even joked with one employee that it must be a job requirement. Thank you to everyone at Riley’s on Sutter for creating such a meaningful and memorable place. We are forever grateful.”
“Our server, Jeffrey was excellent and very informative! The busboy was very attentive. And cleared plates and refilled water often! Always patrolling and on the lookout! My pasta campagnia & my husbands veal, parmigiana were excellent! We also ordered a small pizza (to go) but had to have one slice! Great pizza! Then pumpkin gelato to share & finish our meal! Brought leftovers of each one home! So much food, so much goodness!”

“Been going here for mnay years..10+? Favorite spot for Torta's. My sons first torta was here: ) Salsa bar is excellent, the pickled onions are on fire , guessing habanero or more . Always great service and they sell beer, hard to say no. Thank you for being here. think they need to expand as seating gets a bit tight : )”

“This is my 2nd time here and it’s the absolute best place to eat. Before I had chicken vegetables and recently vegetables and tofu. I mostly eat vegetables and they offer a good portion of vegetables without skimping like so many other restaurants do. Not Bok choy. They work hard and are very attentive to their customers. Nothing but praise for this place.”
“This place freaking rocks!
I've been in several times and each time the coffee and service has been fantastic.
They've got a super friendly staff behind the bar, and a warm, and welcoming atmosphere in the cafe.
The Folsom Cafe is definitely in my rotation of my favorite shops in the town!”
“I. LOVE. NEKTER! I’m so glad you’re in my area. I’ve even got my sister in Vegas hooked on it. I usually use the app to order which is super convenient. I just want you all to know, the people in the Folsom location are always friendly and pleasant, which isn’t always the case today. I’ve done SO many of the cleanses, smoothies, juices, açaí bowls and protein balls. It’s always delicious 🤤 (I literally got a smoothie and juice today 😂).”

“Tried the weekend buffet. Very tasty and fresh. Was quite busy so took a bit to refill the buffet. Overall everything was delicious and lots of variety. Staff was friendly but tend to be soft spoken so hard to hear when busy. Food was a bit spicy but overall delicious. Clean and bright restaurant.”
“I highly recommend this place! Great selection of sushi, everything is fresh and absolutely delicious. Great customer service. The Ramen dishes are amazing. I loved the crab stuffed mushrooms as well. This place is on the top of my lists to come back for more!”

“Falafel Corner in Folsom has been wonderful to work with. They’ve catered a few events for us recently, and we’ve been so happy every time. The new ownership truly goes above and beyond with customer service, and the quality of the food has improved so much. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and a big hit with our guests. Highly recommend!”
“Love the food here. One of the places that still let you pile your own bowl. Cook it in front of you and you get soup, wonton chips complimentary. I always get so many veggies and meat and it's the bomb”
“Greatest staff they're always so friendly, nice and polite. They always have the best drinks around from coffees, smoothies and energy drinks. Some of the Friendliest people/customers to sit and talk with and even maybe make a new friend. They even have some beautiful art work for sale or to just sit and look at.”
“Great food, good prices. One server is on it, always. The others? Not so much.
As we had a toddler with us, we weren't offered a table away from the door, which gave us a blast of chilly air as the dinner crowd kept coming.
The difference between a good establishment and a truly Great one, the little gestures which keep people EAGER to come back. Observing customers and what their needs might be is a Hallmark of public service. Well actually service of any kind.
I will be back, I do enjoy the food there.... guacamole is a really good one, and fresh chips which aren't stale nor over salted or oiled/greased.”
“Coffee is the best in town, but they’re also a business that gives back to the community! After reaching out to support a nonprofit event, Temple promptly responded that they’d cover the coffee…for 50 people! Amazed by their generosity and very thankful to have Temple in Davis.”
“I always have a great experience at this location, E. Bidwell, Folsom, CA. Pizza is delicious, staff is courteous, ordering and paying online is easy.
Vegetarian options: Vegetarian pizza is loaded with vegetables.
Dietary restrictions: One family member is vegetarian, another is gluten free. We can accommodate everyone here.”
“We had the sliders and onion rings and they were really good my compliments to the chef. Our waitress was very good wish I had gotten her name but she was working on 1/17/25. Almost forgot the bread pudding was also very good.”
“One of the best places to eat in the Sacramento area. The mattar paneer and dal makhani are incredible, especially with some cucumber raita and naan. The staff is also very nice.”
“Love this place! Kids eat free on Tuesday. Food is great and service is top notch 👍”

“Just got 2 sandwiches and I messed up the order, size, type of sandwich but the young lady working was so nice and I just was certain that the sandwiches would be amazing and they were. She wasn't annoyed or frustrated as I said yes this way than oh wait maybe this also. Not that stuff etc etc. Normally I would assume that whatever Iend up getting it won't be great but this was the opposite, she almost knew what I wanted to order and literally the best sando I've had this year. Amazing all around and I sincerely thank you. Great Job to the young lady at Folsom store!!”

“The coffees were so uniquely delicious and artistic! The staff was lovely, helpful, and generous! My friends and I all genuinely enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and didn't mind our meeting running longer than expected in this tranquil environment! We even ordered an additional beverage just to try a different flavor and see the different designs of the foam!”
“Everything was amazing! We got edamame, 3 sushi rolls and Tonkatsu Ramen all of it was fresh and flavorful. I was skeptical about the edamame but that was also wonderful. Their service was great as well as the atmosphere! We will be back for sure, this is definitely my new go-to sushi place!”
“Catered food from the restaurant.. able to pick up on time.was told to pay in cash.
Mint/ cilantro chutney for mixed vegetable pakora was frothy and like rasam..very watery. Pakoras were more like onion than mixed vegetables. Starter paneer dish was almost charred..chicken drum sticks were also a little overdone. Chicken curry was great, but was packed in a single half tray and was not double packed..hence was messy to deal with. Naans were not packed right, hence very soggy.”
“This was my first visit to Shake Shack. It's located at the Palladio in Folsom. I went on a Friday around 1130am, so parking was plentiful. I was greeted by a staff person as soon as I entered. The menu and order/pick up counter are right at the entrance. In addition to a variety of burgers there are vegan options, chicken sandwhiches, hot dogs, soft drinks, milkshakes and even a selection of beer and wines! The entrance is full of light and very welcoming. There are several seating areas inside and out. I ordered a single burger with no cheese and fries. I sat near the entrance and observed a steady flow of customers ordering to eat in as well as those ordering to go or delivery service pick ups. My order arrived in about 5 minutes (they bring it to your table). My burger was a delicious smashed burger and the crinkle cut fries were fresh and hot. As a staff person was delivering an order to another table, he stopped to ask me if my order was ok. I was pleasantly surprised by that because most fast food places do not check on you after you receive your order. 5 stars for the excellent customer service! Overall a great place to stop in to satisfy your hunger and experience great customer service.”
“I’ve been to this place once visiting my cousin and to say it was the best steak I’ve ever tasted in my ever loving life would be a huge understatement!
