My go to poke spot in Anaheim. Poke is great and so consistent, a lot options for toppings as well serving size for the price is unbeatable. I recently ordered the Eel Rice Plate and my goodness it did not disappoint. I was worried it was going to be fishy, but man was I wrong. It’s also paired with cucumbers and seaweed salad, it’s beyond delicious! And the serving size for it, come on! There are big chunks of eel, not skinny slivers of meat. I would be ordering again. The tea options they offer also shhmacks! I’ve ordered mango slush, taro milk tea, passionfruit green tea which all are tasty. The grass jelly and boba are also fire - fresh, soft and chewy! So glad I tried this place out, now I go every 2-3 weeks (:“

“This is my favorite poke place that I’ve been going to for a while! The food is always fresh and I really like that I can get my favorite fish and toppings, my vegan sister has tofu options, and my 6 year old can get macrons or ice cream. J Sushi knows how to do it right. We stopped in for lunch when we got to California and it was so good we came back the next day. We tried a few rolls, nigiri, udon, and some of their fried options. Everything came out fast, fresh, and full of flavor. Clean, balanced, and delicious from start to finish.

The Vibe:
Casual, comfortable, and welcoming. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxed lunch or an easy dinner. Simple décor, friendly faces, and great food which is exactly what you want from a neighborhood sushi place.

The Value:
Fair portions and reasonable prices make this a no-brainer. You can taste the quality without the upscale price tag.

“Waited approximately one hour to be seated. Spoiker: it was well worth that wait. I ordered the tonkatsu ramen and pork buns. I can't decide which part was better, the noodles or the broth! The pork buns were priced just right at $8 for 2. Some of the best I've had. You are all so lucky to have such a wonderful ramen bar in your community. “Came when it wasn't busy. Shared a large poke bowl between the 2 of us which was plenty of food. We ordered salmon, tuna, albacore, and tempura shrimp as our proteins and liked that they offered seaweed salad, mango, mandarin, tamago, edamame, ginger, smelt egg as toppings.
It was a little warm when we stayed indoors to eat. They also had outdoor seating.“

They don’t mix the sauce with the protein, they put it on top. I tried the wasabi cilantro sauce on the side and it was good.

The rice was great for the foundation.I tried the volcano 2 and spicy mayo combo and couldn't really taste the heat at all. Probably needed more flavoring. A but bland. But the bowl size and portion for 5 protein is good. 15.99. Adding an avocado baby scoop is probably worth it at 1.50 extra to give your bowl extra texture. Enjoyed the bowl. Spice up the sauces.“

“This place was so fire, I literally rushed onto my phone to leave this review. I ordered a takeout bowl off of uber eats while visiting Anaheim and I’m pleasantly surprised with my choice. I had ahi tuna, spicy salmon, albacore crab salad, sweet corn, cilantro, eel sauce, crispy onion, spicy ponzu and cucumbers… I’m in heaven! The nachos on the side really took it to another level.
