“Everything was delicious and service was great. It was a Thursday night and the parking lot was packed at 5:45 pm. They may have had a special event taking place in another area on the grounds. They have valet service but we parked in the lower lot and walked up. I was a little disappointed that I ordered the lamb shank that was a special of the day but they didn't have it. Prime rib was a great second choice. Piano music playing and city lights after dark make it extra special. It was my first time there but I'm sure I'll go back.“

“We had the chicken kabab, shawarma, hummus trio and falafel plate and all the things were fresh and delicious. I especially liked that everything was spiced and seasoned very well and the falafels were crispy outside and moist inside and very flavorful. Highly recommended

“This is THE BEST fine dining steakhouse in North OC with a vibrant, classy atmosphere. From the steaks and seafood to the cocktails and old-fashioneds… everything is amazing. We’ve been patrons since it opened and would even order takeout (even old-fashioneds to go!) during the pandemic. A splurge but absolutely worth it.“

“Old classic American steakhouse. Bartenders are outstanding and pour a good drink not your standard 1 oz. . The Owners Jeff and Steve have greatly improved the place the last several years. I've seen their business increase. The food is very good and competitively priced. Some comments I read earlier that it was overly priced they must go to Denny's a lot. The weekends get packed. Sometimes 1-2 hour wait for dinner. They have entertainment on Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday. They also have great Happy Hour specials M-F. I'm just another happy customer that has been coming in for years.“

“Have eaten here about 3 times in the last year so far. Services is always good and friendly. Plenty of parking outside. The place is mostly clean. During my last visit a few weeks ago my niece ordered a burger medium well and it looked great when it arrived. However, when she bit into it she had a 3" x 2" strip of greasy paper in her mouth. This was either paper from the burger or from the cheese. We don't know. The waiter and manager were alerted and they offered to replace the burger with a fresh one and comp the meal. They also gave her a free dessert for the trouble. The waiter apologized profusely every time he came to the table. For this I'll say service is great. However, they need to pay more attention in the kitchen to begin with.“

The food is excellent, and the air conditioning provides a welcome chill. With only about a 5-minute wait to be seated, it’s the perfect spot for a relaxing break. “I had a very bad experience with Uber Eats a week and a half ago, but Black Angus went above and beyond to correct the situation.

They didn't have to, as it was out of their hands, but they STILL did.

I am so appreciative to their commitment to going above and beyond in their services, that I hopped onto an app to praise the way they handled the situation.

“My family and I drive from San Diego every year to eat at this amazing gem. The ambiance is casual to formal. The view is spectacular, come close to sunset to see it. The salad/soup bar are excellent and come with every meal. The portions are large so you will most likely take half home. The service is always great, the staff are friendly and welcoming. I have yet to come to a holiday brunch but ive heard great reviews.“
