“This LA bakery is a must-visit for anyone craving a delightful pastry experience. Despite the long wait for parking and entry (over 30 minutes), the staff was incredibly quick and friendly, managing to keep the crowd moving smoothly.

The bakery itself is a sight to behold, with its vast expanse of baked goods and an open kitchen that showcases their delectable creations. We indulged in a variety of items, including almond croissant, cinnamon croissant, chicken sandwich, eclair, cream cheese guava strudels, chicken croquettes, spinach puff pastry, biscuits, chicken empanadas, and wheat bread.

The biscuits were a standout, filled with gooey caramel and chocolate. The eclair was a melt-in-your-mouth masterpiece. Every bite was a blissful experience, thanks to the freshly baked, warm pastries.

While the chicken sandwich was a bit of a letdown compared to the other pastries, it was still enjoyable. Overall, this bakery offers an amazing experience and is definitely worth a visit.“

“Just had their Buche de Noel and I have to say that it’s the best I’ve had. The cake was moist and cocoa intense without being overly sweet. Frosting was also perfect at both chilled and room temp. The Yule log is an annual tradition, and this one is spectacular. Now that I’ve tasted this one, I would not go anywhere else.“

“Poul’s Bakery took our breath away , we couldn’t believe the cake we have taken pictures from we have searched the internet images and sent it to her the custom cake we wanted , and not only she made the identical one ,the taste was so delicious actually finished the entire slice, it’s rare for me to eat the whole slice, as many cakes are made with to much sugar , it overwhelms to entire cakes other ingredients, this was so perfectly balanced ,and l asked for second , so did few guests , we as host wished we ordered the bigger size , we don’t like the buttercream topping due to its excessive sugar , we ordered her soexisl topping , while you others ask no buttercream but we want Poul’s Bakery special topping we heard so much about it , sorry l don’t remember what it was called . My bad ,this Poul’s baker we also find out been around for decades as she is the second owner but uses the same original recipes. She said it’s a company secret Lol, we respect that Try Poul’s Bakery , it won’t s sidelong you and ask for a sample of their fantastic cannolis . And on the spot in events she actually make the cake front of your guests . We never tried that but people are ranting about it and went at viral with millions of views and shared ,,we saw it in her website . “They made my mom’s birthday cake it was a work of art and it was delicious. We chose my mom’s favorite. Carrot cake with a whip cream frosting and custard filling. It was the most delicious carrot cake I ever had! Even family members who exclaimed they did not like carrot cake tried this one and changed their mind it was that good!! We also got a flan pie. Same thing. So delicious. I wish I knew about this baker for my wedding cake but going forward I will get all my pies and cakes here. I highly recommend it!!“

“TOUS les JOURS just closed their location next to Arirang Market in Garden Grove, but a new one popped up inside the H Mart Westminster food hall. This bakery is part of Korea’s CJ Group and expands crazy fast overseas.

In Korea, I always thought TLJ was pretty average… but somehow in the U.S. it suddenly feels fancy.
Their cakes are beautiful and super polished but the price tags are wild. Birthday cakes are $38–$50, which made me blink a few times.

My friend picked up two mini cakes (about $7.3 each) to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and honestly? They were really good. Light, creamy, not overly sweet and definitely worth it as a little treat.

Overall: Cakes are not pricy, but cute, tasty, and convenient just inside H Mart.“

“This place is awesome!!! They made my wedding cake and dessert bar 5/26/19. Everyone loved it I got so many compliments on the quality of the cake. The desserts where also a huge hit. As soon as the dessert bar open at 9 it was almost cleared out. We didn't put everything out at once and had to restock it in 7 mins. My daughter even said she didn't get a chance to have anything but a cake pop because it all went fast. Back to the wedding cake, they did such an amazing job recreating the cake we wanted. It was exactly how we pictured it. And was so fresh and moist. My husband loved it and he is not a cake eater hes super picky. Also the fact they are family operated made gives them that intimate connection to there customers that gets lost in most places. This is our new specialty cake spot for sure. “Ice cream is usually a safe choice—until you order a banana split and it looks nothing like the picture.

This is my second time visiting since they moved across the street. The store is very clean and feels brand new. The staff were young, friendly, and pleasant, which made the visit enjoyable.

Unfortunately, both visits had the same issue: missing toppings. They didn’t have hot chocolate syrup, which is essential for a banana split. The whipped cream was flat and seemed watered down, likely from being left out too long. Making a banana split isn’t hard, but without the right ingredients, the experience falls short. The alternative topping combinations didn’t really work either.

If the manager sees this, I hope you make sure all toppings are consistently available and fresh.

“On Saturday 04/23/22 I bought a small cake, the person who attend me was name jazmin. She mention told me that the cake was tres leches, but when we cut the cake it’s flavor was chocolate. I didn’t think much and decided to keep it. But today 04/26/22 I bought another cake, again jazmin told me that the cake was chocolate bread flavor with mocha. When I cut the cake it’s flavor was vanilla cake with mocha. This time I did call the bakery and explain what happen, they told me to go back and they would give a chocolate cake. Upon my arrival to the bakery, jazmin was rude and didn’t want to give me a cake but instead give me the refund for the cake. On both occasions, she was rude and seemed like she was on a hurry. Would answer questions in regards the cakes with attitude and rudeness. I have been a faithful costumer for years to this bakery, and love the pastries and cakes. But this new person, needs to get better training or be replace.“
