“This was an adorable place for pastries and lunch. There is free parking in the structure nearby, and paid street parking around. My partner and I split the Chilaquiles, which was phenomenal with fresh and crisp chips. The pastry we ordered was an apple danish of some sort, and that was delightful as well. You order in the front before self seating, and enjoying a laid-back time with yourself or your friends. The staff were super friendly. The prices were quite high, but understandable for the location and quality of food.“
“Ordered a falafel burrito and the hummus with pita, and cheese quesadilla with chipotle sauce on the side via Uber eats.I wasn't crazy about the pita bread itself and the hummus was just ok, but the falafel burrito was great! I love the fries in it and the tahini is delicious. The burrito is very large and very filling, I ended up saving half for the next day and it was still just as tasty. I highly recommend getting a side of chipotle sauce to dip anything you order in!“

“I had Lamb wrap. The lamb was top quality and melted in my mouth. My friend had the koubideh kabob and again the quality of the meat was second to none. Hameed was very attentive and gave us a lovely sample of cauliflower soup and he’s very passionate about the food served. Farhad was our server and he was an absolute joy! “While the location is not the absolute best, the food and service makes up for any faults. I used to go there all the time when I was younger, and recently decided to try it again a few times. It did not disappoint. I had a chicken kabob with came with an immense amount of sides to go along including white rice, pita and hummus, along with a few vegetables, and garlic sauce. “I’ve been coming to Mizlala for a few years, and although the food and atmosphere are stellar, the front of staff are often not friendly (cold in fact e.g. no smiles, no warmth, and it feels very transactional) and I haven’t felt welcomed the last few times I’ve come. I asked for "medium". it was perfect to my liking. the marinade was perfect. packaging was impeccable, salad was packed separately. The grilled onion was amazing. caramelized to perfection above the flame. I wish they gave some sumac with the order by default. I don't know if they have sumac upon order... I didn't even think about it, until I got back home with the order. good thing I keep a stash of sumac packs :) highly recommend the steak kabob.“

“This spot was on point. I'm a difficult customer. I didn't know what I wanted. Yammel was so awesome. She answered my dozen of questions and put together a dinner for my husband and I that was healthy, filling, and delicious. I did take out. I ordered the family style dinner but I got beef kebab and steak instead of chicken for a bit of a charge. We also ordered the appetizer platter and tiramisu for desert. The sides of salad and pita, and everything that came with these meals will give us about three nights of Dinner. Ordering DoorDash or Uber Eats is becoming ridiculous. You pay $15-$20 in fees. So that's why I came in to order take out. So about 80 bucks we'll eat 3 nights. We would easily drop that on one dinner if we went out. Prices are just insane lately. Thank you Yammel for being so patient with me and for being friendly and kind.“

Their doogh doesn’t come carbonated, and was good, but wasn’t what I was expecting. The boneless chicken and beef were both cooked well and weren’t dry. The lamb chops were a little chewy but overall they were okay. I was a bit surprised they gave sumac on the side without me asking which was definitely a service plus! The size of the rice and mast o khiar may be a little small for two people, but it never hurts to ask for more. Overall, it was a pretty good experience!“
