I have never had to wait for a table and the service is direct, and courteous. they provide incredible ginger that they will refill throughout your meal, so go crazy, it’s addictive. and the wasabi. freshly grated, sweet, fluffy, this is the real deal.
my favorites are the sweet shrimp, the uni served with hokkaido and santa barbara side by side, the halibut, and red snapper. but it’s all very very good.

A legend in his own right, his presence added a deeply personal touch that made the meal feel like more than just dinner - it felt like a tradition.

My mom was visiting from out of town, and this was one of the first places on our list. The filet mignon was perfectly cooked - tender and flavorful. The vegetables and rice were simple but done just right.

But what really stood out - beyond the food - were the walls. Lined with photos, memories, and drawings created by children who’ve passed through these doors, the restaurant tells a quiet story of community, connection, and legacy.

“I love this restaurant! I’ve tried so many sushi places nearby but this place keeps me coming back. The takoyaki and mixed tempura appetizers are great. My favorite roll is the Zen Roll! “I have enjoyed yakis to varying degrees for many years. It's been a staple and usually the food is fairly good. Thier teriyaki sauce is what takes it to a better place. If you like spicy, you can also try thier Bravo sauce which has a spicy cilantro kick to it. I enjoy my bowl with a scoop of thier potato salad. Also, if you want a little something sweet, the yakisito fits the bill. It's tapioca pudding in a egg roll wrapper.I only ever take my food to go, as the shop itself is not so comfy. Also service can be a bit off at times, especially if they're busy and English communication can occasionally be an issue. Overall though, give it a try

Food taste and presentation has been the same since the first time I had it, their hot sauce it’s AMAZING! if you love spicy, if you don’t have high tolerance for spicy stay away or have just a little lol.
