“I’ve been here probably 6 times now, and I honestly don’t understand how it continues to get better! Normally your first experience is great, and then it goes downhill from there. This last time I went was by far my favorite experience, they’re making the plates look more and more beautiful, and the taste of the rolls is phenomenal!!! “Gift card scam. Mikunis implemented a new protocol in 2022. Any gift cards that were purchased before a certain (unknown) date, and now utilized, will be zeroed out. Back story: I attempted to use a gift card today (April 2023) and was informed it had a zero balance. The server kept my card. I had a gut feeling, asked for the card back. I spoke to the manager about how I could have a zero balance when I had never used it. The manager informed me that corporate zeroed out all gift cards that weren’t used. In order for me to get my money on the gift card, I have to call corporate headquarters and “request” an inquiry; which I did to no avail. It’s not about “expired” gift cards. It’s about not informing consumers ahead of a new rule that gift cards be zeroed out before a certain date. I’ve used 10 year old gift cards at other restaurants without any problem. Biggest scam ever.“

Nevertheless, despite initial appearances, the place felt almost like a hole In a wall type of establishment, the inside almost feel similar to a home as it is family owned and feels rather close to actual local establishments in Japan. 50% off sushi sounds too good to be true but the sushi is actually rather decent, though if you aren't careful you'd find yourself still paying for a hefty price (considering today's economy and all). Server was nice. Food didn't take long at all. Glad with the overall experience. The bathroom's also odd though cause it's locked oddly. You are prompted to knock before entering which is odd.“

Had lunch here with the husband and we were both extremely satisfied with our meals. We ordered the chu toro carpaccio, house ramen, chicken katsu, fire dragon roll and double toro roll. The fish was fresh, the katsu was banging and the ramen hit the spot. I wished the toro was a little more fatty and my husband was hoping the ramen would be spicer, but both were still good. Come for lunch, which was when we came, to get their lunch special. A specialized lunch menu that includes 2 appetizers (smaller portion than regular), a main dish or roll, and a drink.

The service was great so we will definitely be back. They do offer omakase that requires advanced reservations, so hopefully we’ll get to try this out soon.“

But all the rolls we tried were good. Everything tasted fresh and not over cooked. Really enjoyed the ebi and baked lobster roll was our favorite. Wanted to order more but our waiter wasn't really coming to our table had us waiting to order more. Store was clean and not busy when we went st lunch time. Will return

“All you eat shushi buffet, order abd they’ll make fresh and can also order from the menu as well. Prices vary from lunch to dinner was $27, plus drinks and takeout box was $6 time a tiny box that only fits 8 shushi. Order digitally from the table. This place is always packed, arrive early. Ice cream is one scoop per bowl, so order two for each person. Same with appetizers 2 pieces per order, so order more than one! Not bad for the prices. If you love shushi this is the place for you!“

They sell mini bamboo plants for just 10 dollars each. They also sell fun snacks, cute candies, and other things.“

I had the yellowtail, salmon, and tuna nigiri as well as the miso soup, and I definitely recommend. Everything tasted fresh, there was intentional presentation even for takeout (cute little flower and sliced lemons added), and the front desk woman was very kind and welcoming. Definitely worth checking out if you’re interested!“
