Best of all they don’t make you wait too long between plates. But expect a wait to get in as it is very popular. Expect 30,60,90 minute wait times if you’re coming on a weekend or busy times. “Gift card scam. Mikunis implemented a new protocol in 2022. Any gift cards that were purchased before a certain (unknown) date, and now utilized, will be zeroed out. Back story: I attempted to use a gift card today (April 2023) and was informed it had a zero balance. The server kept my card. I had a gut feeling, asked for the card back. I spoke to the manager about how I could have a zero balance when I had never used it. The manager informed me that corporate zeroed out all gift cards that weren’t used. In order for me to get my money on the gift card, I have to call corporate headquarters and “request” an inquiry; which I did to no avail. It’s not about “expired” gift cards. It’s about not informing consumers ahead of a new rule that gift cards be zeroed out before a certain date. I’ve used 10 year old gift cards at other restaurants without any problem. Biggest scam ever.“

“Absolute gem of a sushi place. I have lived in Japan and this is the most authentic look, feel and taste of a sushi place I have visited stateside. It's certainly not fancy, but it would not be out of place in a back alley of Osaka. Authentic prices too, very reasonable for the quantity and quality.

Each slurp brought a satisfying warmth that sent shivers down my… well, you get the idea. The noodles were perfectly chewy, a delightful contrast to my otherwise brittle frame. I appreciated how they held onto the broth, ensuring each bite was flavorful. Prices vary from lunch to dinner was $27, plus drinks and takeout box was $6 time a tiny box that only fits 8 shushi. Order digitally from the table. This place is always packed, arrive early. Ice cream is one scoop per bowl, so order two for each person. Same with appetizers 2 pieces per order, so order more than one! Not bad for the prices. If you love shushi this is the place for you!“

We have been there a couple times now and will continue to go back. The lady in the back we overheard her being a little sassy but maybe that’s her personality type. “This was my very first visit to "I love Teriyaki". I had planned on having something else for lunch but, it was closed. I walked into the restaurant and was greeted by a young man behind the counter. I thought it was nice to see the menu very large on the wall. Easy for someone who wants to take-out. The establishment is nice and was very clean. I don't think I would have stayed because it was very hot inside. Almost as hot as it was outside. I think this restaurant needs better ventilation. That was my only issue. I ordered the Folsom Lake. It was VERY GOOD and the presentation was also very good. I will be going back to get this sushi roll again and getting it for take-out. Enjoy!“
