The torta and tacos dorados were surprisingly exactly as down south, and the potato tacos were a delight for vegetarian tastes too. I’m going back soon, totally worth the hour + drive for me!“

“We recently stopped for lunch here following a graveside service at Oak Park Cemetery. We chose this restaurant because it is in the building that used to be my grandfather's gas station (1930's-1960's). The food was very good and the owners were quite friendly and accommodating to us. Nice trip down memory lane. I had my first taco ever back when this was the Sip "n Sup in the late 1960s so it was fun to return to my roots. For those in the area, the oak tree in front of the house just a couple doors down (Winemaker's Assn) was planted from an acorn by mother!“

“beautiful and delicious cookies and pastries. we tried the bear cookies, the bunny cookies, donut, cinnamon roll and a bolillo (bread roll). everything was delicious. it’s hard to find, tucked in the corner and next to the wells fargo atm next to the supermarket.“

“Wanted a quick bite on our drive south and this place did not disappoint! We each had two carne asada tacos SUPER TASTY! Small double tortilla piled high with meat. Came with lightly picked carrots and sautéd onions. So much better than drive thru. We’ll be back!“
