“Visited Porto’s Bakery for the first time when in West Covina (reside in Washington). We went on Easter morning expecting it to be super busy. To our luck it was busy, but no line! We got there at 10am and it was raining so we lucked out. They had several staff drying the floor and directing traffic to enserie everyone’s safety avoiding slips. They have an amazing system in place to get customers to the right counter. Everything we tried was fresh and super tasty. We tried the Potato Balls, Cheese Rolls, Refugiado, Chicken Empanada, Torrejas, breakfast croissants, Pork Tamales and a few other pastries along with lattes, guava lemonade & hot chocolate. We went all out! There was not one item that we bought that was bad or that we wouldn’t buy again. I was able to buy several items to bring back home. So we had a wonderful breakfast there and had several pastries and goodies to bring home.“

“If your ever in Downtown Glendora stop by Crust And Crumble they have a breakfast sandwich called The Crusty. It is a real breakfast sandwich. Toasted sourdough, fluffy eggs, quality bacon, provolone cheese, garlic aoli, with arugula. Fffffwwwww. This ain't McDonald's folks you get what you pay for. Oh they close early and are pretty busy but it's worth it. Bakery items are all delicious especially there danishes and pumpkin loaf when they have it .“
“This is my first time coming to this location. My girlfriend, mom and I really loved what we got, always delicious crepes, service is super fast and the guys are super friendly and nice, I had an issue while selecting my crepe, and one of the workers was so kind, he came out to the front where the screen is to place orders and he helped me out. Highly recommend this dessert shop or any of their locatios. Newest one is in Little Tokyo. I'm looking forward to try the savory crepes . “From the first visit, Civitas has been our favorite ever since! Whenever we are out of town and try another coffee shop we always compare that coffee shop to Civitas. "Is it as good as Civitas?" The answer is very rarely a "yes". Our regular order is an unsweetened iced oat milk latte! I had the ranch wrap with grilled chicken and fried green tomatoes on the side…it was wonderful! Tasted fresh and the chicken was so flavorful! We're a little pricey but I love buying myself a sweet treat :) The worker was very kind and offered us suggestions without being overly pushy. Obviously the name is a little...uh...unusual but when you walk in its clearly a coffee shop with food. Big interior with plenty of space to sit. Eclectic, Korean influenced drink menu. My cappuccino was very good. Some exotic Korean pastries, a sausage embedded croissant(pictured) and like savory cheese buns? I would need to be in a mood for one of those. Instead I got an almond croissant, which looked pretty standard but turned out to be quite delicious. Like unexpectedly delicious. “I have not actually been to their storefront, however I did have the opportunity to try their Bundt cake at our semi annual street fair in Carlsbad. It was the end of the fair, and most all of their Bundt cakes were packed up in clear totes. When we walked by, I commented to my daughter how good they all looked. My daughter got pretty excited and they were kind enough to help out with one last cinnamon sugar churro Bundt cake. It was just before dinner so we took it to go for after dinner. We actually warmed it up and it was amazing. I wish I had some ice cream to go with it! Only bummer is I guess we will have to wait another 6 months to try them again! “I love coming here! The breads are delicious, though some of them are on the smaller side (if you go to other bakeries, they're usually bigger for comparable prices). But mostly I'm crazy about the drinks, haha. I'm obsessed w their hot jasmine green tea & oolong milk tea, they're my perfect cold weather comfort drinks. The wait time for the drinks is always pretty long, though (expect 15-20 min) and sometimes I question the music they're playing bc it doesn't really give "café" vibes lmao“
