The sign is visible from the highway but to access the shoppe, requires driving behind the Burger King into the shopping complex. Jan ordered soy free carmel, and I ordered a blend of my favorite which is one scoop of chocolate, and one scoop of cherry. The service was prompt and the establishment clean.“

It's an ice cream shop that fulfill the most posh of taste. My favorite is the Ube ice cream . Its so luscious , thick and creamy texture with a mellow, subtle nutty, and a hint of vanilla flavor. “My boss always bought Romolo's for office parties, and the cannolis are always so good. So when my husband and I were planning an Italian feast for our wedding, Romolo's came to mind immediately. Over the course of a few months we came in to try different cookies and cannolis. The place is super cute and the staff is so nice.

Erin, one of the owners, was so helpful and we ended up doing a mix of cannolis and cookies. We ordered 50 cannolis and a few dozen cookies for 35 guests. There were maybe 5 cannolis left which one guest took home for their family.

Our families are Italian from NY and most of them said it was the best cannoli they've had outside of NY. (They can't say it's better than a NY cannoli - that would be treason.)

Parking: You can easily find parking in the back parking lot located police station and walk through the shopping center, or, easily find parking at a meeting or timed for free.

Kid-friendliness: They have been nothing more than kid catering, so if you're an adult be careful! If you're a kid you're going to get everything you like and more!

“Just delicious. I ordered an ube soft serve with an Ah Boong (fish waffle) on the side. The Ah Boong is warm and fresh, simultaneously soft and crispy, and the ice cream is flavorful and the perfect amount. I inhaled the entire thing within 5 minutes, it was just that good. The ube soft serve is not the best I've had, but it's still good, and that's probably because of my personal tastes. I think it is worth the price. The location is convenient too, right in Downtown San Mateo! Overall, I will come again. 4/5.“

“Standard experience at Baskin-Robbins, in terms of ice cream quality. Service was on the slow side, as there was only one person doing everything, so the line started to get long. Easy to find parking, though, as there’s a large free parking lot.“
