“Anchored in the bay, all the way from Puget sound and a dinghy ride in for food. Walked around and quickly realized this was the busiest spot in town. Cold beverages outside made the wait alright. The "award winning" fish and chips were great! Calamari too. Great food, generous portions & good view of our boats. Staff was fun too. Cheers!“

“Hidden gem in Half Moon Bay! This is small restaurant owned by a family, one of the owners is the cook. The food looks and tastes very good and service is just the best. We had patata, lobster bisque and shrimps and all three were amazing. Totally must go place while visiting!“

“Came here on a Sunday night with a big group and they were able to accommodate us right away. We had the Brussels sprouts, cheese bread, crab bread, crab cakes, boneless rips, clipper plates, Manila clams and tacos. Basically everything from the menu. Everything was really delicious and the service was pretty fast. We’ll be here again! Def try to make resos before you come“

“Delicious and straightforward. Highly recommend. If you're used to American portion sizes, you'll think the portions here are a bit small. It's affordable, so just order an extra appetizer!
We loved the tom yum and fried wontons.“

“Watermelon and arugula salad. It was a large portion, and excellent. The dinner was served with bread and butter for the table. The menu looks a little pricey at first, but the portions match. Service was top notch. Extremely scenic surroundings right on the beach, and live piano music.“

“I have been Jonesin for for a lobster roll. I ordered the lobster and cheese sandwich, thinking it would be a grilled cheese with a dash of lobster. Boy, was I wrong! It has a generous helping of lobster, the right amount of cheese and perfect on sourdough! This went well with a black and tan, along with some delicious cheesy tots! This is a really nice, friendly pub and I will be back!!“

“Joe’s has a down to earth family run diner feel. The kind of place that Gordon Ramsay would feature on a Kitchen Nightmares episode. Except this place isn’t as dysfunctional as the ones he visits on the show. Menu has a large selection of comfort food. Food is decent and portions are good. Only thing missing was flavor. Clam chowder wasn’t over salty - good, but it was too bland. What’s described as chicken scaloppine had no capers so it was more chicken Marsala with the brown sauce. That Marsala sauce too, was bland. Presentation could be better. Pool of gravy on side of mashed potatoes looked silly. I expect that from a Southern country diner, but not a West Coast eatery just down the road from Ritz Carlton. The sourdough with olive oil and pesto was my favorite thing to eat. Wait staff was friendly and always attentive. Overall, this is worth stopping in for a meal. We will try breakfast or lunch another time.“

“An excellent fine-dining experience from start to finish. The food was beautifully prepared and presented, with great attention to detail and balance across every course. The wine list is outstanding—deep, thoughtful, and very well curated. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the service: exceptionally attentive, warm, and professional without ever feeling intrusive. The team is genuinely superb and makes you feel well taken care of throughout the evening. A place we'll absolutely return to and confidently recommend.“

“Amazing and wonderful experience. It's 10/10! From the friendly valet to our server who went above and beyond to get us the best table with an incredible view, everything was exceptional. The food was delicious, we ordered the tiradito and guacamole, both were fantastic. We had a 3:30 pm reservation and arrived a bit early, but they graciously seated us right away. The sunset view was absolutely spectacular and breathtaking — perfect weather paired with a talented bagpiper who entertained us as we enjoyed the moment. My husband ordered Maverick's Sundae, and it was honestly the best ice cream I've ever had! Highly recommend!“
