I have actually been here to eat by myself which I never ever do, have called in an order to go 15 minutes after they opened because sometimes, I just feel the need for some "Little Mexico's" Cheese Enchiladas with rice and beans. (best refried beans around) My BFF orders either the Chiles Verde or Chiles Relleno plate. Price friendly, clean, good service, awesome food. The parking area is a little challenging however, I'll wait for a spot, their food is well worth the wait in my opinion. Try this place and share your experience.”

A bit pricy but has cheaper options anyone who want to save $$. Went here also for my birthday and was told about a deal going on for crab legs. Totally made the occasion extra special and had food for days. Definitely still good reheated too. Highly recommend. Don’t let the empty tables fool you. It’s much better eaten at home anyways. Only complaint is no salad or soup options since my friend wanted clam chowder. But otherwise amazing”

There used to be a place that sold these massive wet burritos that my whole family loved so I figured I give this place a try. I have to say at first I thought the tacos were a bit pricy at first but then I saw how much meat they give you it’s massive and they were seasoned well. I have to say I was impressed not the best tacos I’ve had but they give you a satisfying amount and it will leave you full rather than filling like you want more. They have good customer service here too, the cashier was nice and polite. I’ll most definitely come back to try other items off their menu like their birria tacos and a wet burrito.”

Over the past few months I've ordered tres leches cake for my daughter's 21st birthday, a marble cake for my granddaughter's birthday and a strawberry cake for my daughter's 17th birthday. I'm not a big fan of strawberry cake, but I was blown away by how delicious theirs was.

Fries are thicker than the thin fast food fries, which I liked. Food came out hot.
Menu is next to the order window in large print and clear pricing. Looking at the menu does not disturb those who are ready to order. I believe there is a veggie burger so it can cater to veggetarians? I'd double chech their menu just to be sure it is there. There are 2 tables nearby to wait for your orders to be done. “Some of the reviews written here are kind of weird — lol. Winton Deli is a typical no-frills corporate deli in the industrial zone. It’s like stepping back in time to the late 1980s decor-wise, dim lighting, basically no thought toward the visuals except basics. So, no one hangs out, they usually order and go. Lots of tables though, and prob a good place to have a meeting (minus the lady vacuuming your feet at 1:30). But it’s right next to my job and by the Hayward regional shoreline park. And the veggie sandwiches are INSANELY GOOD. The sourdough bread is PERFECT. You can have a conversation about Food with the Asian cashier guy, who I thought was a nice guy and enjoy having a good conversation on the merits of each sandwich. When it comes to veggie sandwiches it is PERFECT. I don’t know about that roast beef sandwich, but I PLAN my time to include this deli’s veggie pesto sandwich whenever I hike or bike at the park, as well as work lunch. It is that good !!! I’ll order one to go, too. It’s THAT hole in the wall. Go. Don’t go to boring Starbucks, go here. You must try to experience the contrast in amazing food and awful interior. There should be a movie made about this deli. It is just so Bay Area.

“I've been going to The Mexican for years. The food was top notch with an awesome tequila bar. I went in last Saturday, Dec. 21st, 2024 at 5pm and it was empty. That in itself seemed strange. We got seated. No water. No Chips and Salsa. We received menus and that was why it was empty. You're paying for everything at 25% to 45% more than before with many meals and all Combinations GONE. To get a Taco, an Enchilada with Rice and Beans was $38... That's INSANE... We walked out and sadly will never return... He's the same reason Buffalo Bills was a ghost town at 430pm on a Saturday. Went there the day before and it's the same - prices 25% to 50% higher. Out of 3 popular beers. No milk. Menu changes for the worse. Miss Bill and the good food and great atmosphere that used to be since 1983. Another spot I'll never go back to...”

I never went to the register until into was time to pay because the host brought the cards directly to me. They went as far as Giving me specific times that they said I was there at the register. ONE person arrived on time. so why would I make additional requests prior to tue arrival of my guest. Management, both named Jocelyn need to be reprimanded for the reporting they reviewed cameras and that it resulted in me being untruthful. I will be making a statement to cooperate to discuss the lack of honesty and poor quality of leadership those two possess.”
