“You know normally I'd see this and say, "Big deal...". It actually was pretty good from maybe 20 years ago or so I last tried this. The two guys working were very cool. I could tell doing a good job meant alot to them. Instead of a $2 tip I gave $2.25. Totally joking. Tip these workers kids!

I always end up with half the box for dinner later. The owners are super friendly and gave some suggestions to try over the basic Alfredo sauce. Very much a lunch staple or a I don’t want to cook on the way home grab type of meal.“

I was thrilled to eat such delicious, fresh cuisine when I received a gift card for my birthday. Service is a wonderful young man and lady who put in a lot of effort and support one another rather than just hanging about. The manager was really professional and fixed a little issue with my card with a grin and no hostility. I will be bringing the entire family here with my spouse. “They have really great service super fast delivery and if you eat here often or not they are predictable and each dish we have tried from the rigatone bolognese to the house spaghetti to the spicy chicken is fantastic. The experience is above average time and time again by ourselves (me and my daughter) or with friends (we have brought about 6 different people who have shared our enthusiasm) this restaurant is a absolutely fantastic experience. I wanna go tomorrow just thinking of it now. Highly recommend sopping by as it is one of Castro Valleys nicest little places.“

“We made reservations on it Thursday to celebrate a birthday dinner. The food was great the service was very nice the place was crowded so glad we did make the reservation. Some of the best lasagna I've had and the carbonara my goodness. I'm a big fan of creme brulee and they did not disappoint. Will be back again.“

“We came for our 30th anniversary while Strizzi's is celebrating it's 40th, so we got soup and salad gratis. Not just a cup or a small salad but full blown servings. My clam chowder was among the best I ever had. The food was great - we had the lasagna and spaghetti with (3 big) meatballs. Our server, Jawad, was among the friendliest ever, and took the time to chat and take our picture. A lot of servers do that, but he was just a wonderfully friendly guy. Get there and see if he will serve you before he gets through college! We had not heard of this place before and took a flyer. Big score!“

“Great sandwiches but kinda expensive. You can literally make these sandwiches at home in 5 minutes. Service was great as each individual sandwich maker caters to you and your order. I would say if you are in line for 10 minutes or less; it's worth it.“

“ok so at first i didnt know this place was even a thing but the pizza we order was very good and there was code on our coupon and we used and it said we could get a free 2 liters bottle soda but we used it to knock down the price and so when we went to go pick up the pizza and we told the worker about the coupon and ect and they told us since we used the code to knock down the price if we wanted the bottle soda we would have to pay 5 bucks for it so we decided to leave the place and we arent coming back to this place“

“Pizza Express in Castro Valley really took me back. Used to walk from Creekside over to the Center spot just to grab a dollar slice as a kid still hits the same.

Yeah, it’s a little more now, but the slices are huge (bigger than Costco) and honestly worth it. The guy inside with the glasses was super cool too great service.

We paid just over $20 for two big slices, a soda, and a cake. Solid deal, good food, and they’re still open late for dine-in. Glad to see they’re still doing their thing.“
