“My favorite sushi restaurant! I used to drive out to Emeryville to get their sushi. It's delicious and you can taste the freshness. So glad they opened a place closer to home. I ordered the nigiri combo to go and they had it ready when I got there. Wait staff are always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend them!“

“This Thai/Lao spot is truly a hidden gem in the Industrial area of Hayward off Highway 92. Fortunately, it's right off the freeway at the Clawiter/Eden Landing and you can spot it along the freeway.

Offering Thai and Lao food with some sushi rolls but I'm here for the Thai/Lao food as I love Nam Khao which is Southeast Asian crispy rice salad (with Lao pork) with plenty of flavor and textures accompanied with peanuts, mint, cilantro and lettuce for wrapping.

Royal Lao does a good one with plenty of bold flavors and heat (I asked for medium). The only comment I have for this dish it wasn't crispy (and not due to take out) so no crunch to it at all...no worries...popped into the air fryer and perfect! 4/5

:: Chicken Larb - ground chicken, herbs like mint, lime and fish sauce and chili with some cucumber and salad. - Flavorful and yummy. 4/5

:: Pork skewer (4) - good and juicy but could've been charred a bit to render some of the fat and get some caramelization from the sugars. Accompanied by a tomato-based sauce 3.5/5

Service friendly and efficient. Spoke to the owner, Noi and she mentioned the place has been there a year. Great option for Thai/Lao in the area as not many unless you go to East Oakland (Champa!) and head to Stockton's Angel Cruz Park.

Highly recommend stopping by. Place has a few tables for dining (no table service) but set up for take out. Pricing in line with similar spots. I'll definitely return to try other items and for the Nem Khao! Thank you Noi!

It was a little confusing how to order. I just grabbed a set bowl they had. I'm not picky about food and I enjoyed every bite.

I do wish the space was cleaner. As a business owner I didn't always have the cleanest spaces and I recognize that in hindsight and this is kind of the thing that even if you didn't want to dine in, sticks out like a sore thumb

That's why often I take photos of my reciept and the bathroom of spaces for my reviews.

We could see the chefs carefully crafting the boat while we enjoyed some of their appetizers. Food and service was amazing!! I had a rainbow roll and miso soup. My total was $14.85 after tax.

The roll wasn't awful. The rice was slightly overcooked, so it was mushy. It also didn't taste like there was any vinegar. The avocado, salmon, and shrimp looked fresh. The miso soup was piping hot. It was hard to open the bowl because the surface was 163°F according to my phone's thermometer. There were a few pieces of tofu and seaweed.

I sat in the dining area, which was pretty clean and can accommodate up to 16 people and a small child comfortably (high-chair available). The restroom was closed when I visited. The music was a mix of Cantonese and Mandarin songs. It's quiet enough for a conversation.

As for the ordering process, you can use a kiosk or order with an employee, then sit down and wait until your number is called.

“Stopped by for lunch at 2pm and plenty of seating inside. I used the self order kiosk on the table, which made ordering a breeze. The sushi rolls came out in about 8-10 minutes and they were huge rolls.

I typically eat two, but I coule barely finish these. They were incredibly filling and each roll was less than $12, which is a great deal in 2024. Service was excellentand I really enjoyed the meal. I get work done on my car across the street often, so i'll be stopping by whenever i'm in the area from now on.

Parking: It seems like there are about 12 or so spots, but also plenty of parjing along E.14th in front of the restaurant, as well as the side street which crosses it.

Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of access for wheelchairs.“

“Excellent quality healthy and authentic Japanese food at affordable prices. Service is fast (usually 10-15 minutes wait, but sometimes only 5!) And the place is very clean.

Very good spot for a date, or lunch/dinner with your parents. Also a great everyday lunch spot. I try to eat here once a week at least - when I need a healthy meal Asian style.

My favorite is the miso soup and side salad, add a rice and it's under $10. There are many food options in the $10-15 range for a full meal. My favorite soup is the vegetable udon noodle soup. I also like that they have soda pop available with no artificial sweeteners or high fructose corn syrup, so I can enjoy a soda sometimes without feeling too guilty about it.

The sushi is also great, and the teriyaki dishes yummy.

Best overall restaurant for healthy Asian food that isn't expensive and you can eat here any day, their open for business hours are consistent.“

The food was very enjoyable, though the bite of steak I took from my friend's plate felt a little dry. As we kept eating, they turned away a few people, and we leaned they had run out of sushi rice when we asked to order a couple of rolls to take home. This was surprising because they would still be open for several hours. We ran out of tea and had to wait longer than expected to get someone's attention to pay our bill. Food as good, the girl who served me was not warm at all. The moment I walked in she looked confused if she should serve me or not maybe because I was alone.
I loved the food. Green tea ice cream not so much. I wanted a bottle of water to take back to my Airbnb but they didn’t have any which is fine. I asked the girl where can I find a bottle of water near by “she said I don’t know” I paid my tab and walked out and saw hundreds of stores who sell bottle of water . “We love coming here as a family. The staff are very kid-friendly. The food is good, although the traditional sushi are better than that modern ones. Their traditional sushi and sashimi are very good.Our kids ask to go to Satomi all the time!“
