“While visiting Hermosa beach, came across this yummy spot 🙌 the options for tacos are wowwww same with the drinks 🙌 after much debating we went with :

“Darling little bistro in Hermosa Beach. They offer indoor, outdoor, and rooftop seating. There were 5 of us in our party. Each person thoroughly enjoyed their chosen meal. The smash burger was excellent as was the pear martini. We would definitely return.“

“This is one of our favorite spots in the south bay! We love it so much we actually had our wedding reception at the rooftop. Food and service are always great and Andrew has been fantastic at taking care of our guests on our wedding day. Love their Iris Azul, El Pistachio and all the mezcal drinks. “For me, this is a restaurant where you should take family and family-friends. Easy valet parking, cozy location on the marina, sleek seating with maritime decor, classic (and strong) drinks, and a quiet ambience -- all make it a standout in LA, where oftentimes the quality of the food outstrips all the other aspects of the dining experience. As for food: we liked all the seafood options we tried (sea bass, bouillabaise, sand daps), and the burger was thick and juicy. Remarkably, we spent three hours talking and enjoying our three-course meal, and the servers were friendly the whole time and didn't rush us. We will be back!“

“The fish bar is in a great location the bartender Rose makes amazing drinks she friendly & attentive. She knows you by name. The food was great atmosphere is relaxed all the staff treats you like family. Highly recommend!“

“Coni’s Seafood in Inglewood absolutely deserves its Michelin Bib Gourmand! This is one of my favorite seafood restaurants in all of LA—my go-to spot whenever I’m nearby.
I highly recommend trying:
* Tostaditos – Marlin pâté tostada topped with shrimp and octopus ceviche. So much flavor!
* Pescado Zarandeado – Grilled snook with house sauce, caramelized onions, and warm tortillas. Smoky, tender, and delicious.
* Ceviche de Pescado – Super fresh fish marinated in lemon with cucumber, tomato, onion & green chile. Refreshing and bright.
Pair it all with a lime margarita and a cold Modelo Negro and you’re set for an amazing meal. Can’t wait to come back!“

“Absolutely delicious! The service was amazing, with my sister being able to color and draw. The food was speedy, so I was a bit skeptical on the taste, but overall it was really good! I absolutely ADORED the roasted potatoes. If I had to recommend a dish to someone here It would definitely be the calamari. The sauces were good too. Staff was friendly and nice, and I had a good time here.“

“I came across Playa Provisions when in town for business. It was a short Uber from the airport, so I figured I'd give it a try. This place is an absolute gem! It is a unique setup that has everything you'd possibly need from morning until late at night: Cafe in the front for coffee and fresh baked good, as well as full breakfast menu. Later in the heat of the afternoon, take a break from the beach (right across the street) and enjoy hand scooped specialty ice cream cones and shakes. Oh look, it's dinner time... and Playa Provisions opens their dining room and bar, some of the best, most relaxed ambience you'll find for miles around. But don't let the casual setting fool you, this is some incredible, elevated cuisine. Chef owners Nick and Brooke (who you might recognize) crafted a menu that's I've been eating my way through, and have yet to find a dish that's not delicious. You've been eating and drinking all day, and are exhausted? Don't leave yet! Wander into the back 'secret' whiskey bar, (Grain Whiskey Bar) and enjoy hand crafted cocktails from award winning bartenders (no, literally), in a gorgeous wood laden atmosphere. “Let's get the cons out of the way. This restaurant is in a residential area so there is very limited parking. We parked about a 5 min walk away. Also the restaurant is behind a house and there is very limited signage. We asked a neighbor who was working in his front yeard who pointed is in the right direction a few houses down the street.

The minute we found the place it was a 5 star experience. Thankfully we beat the crowd on a Sunday early afternoon. There were two other parties laready seated and we were seated immediately. All the seating is outside but they have a series of umbrellas and tents cover around 2/3rd of the seating. If you come during a busy time you may get stuck in the sun so bring sunscreen or a hat if you're sensitive to sitting in the sun.

The waitress was very nice. She answered our questions about the menu, which was heavily in Spanish, and made some recommendations. We got Chicharrones de Pexcado and it was fabulous. 10 out of 10 absolutely recommend. It was the favorite of everyone in the group. Then we got the Green Apple ceviche and an assortment of tacos (shrimp and fish) including Marlin Tacos). Everything was really tasty and I would absolutely recommend checking it out.

All the food came out in a reasonable amount of time and was great service sizes for sharing and the cats who were running around were adorable but also stayed a cautious distance from the diners.“

“Ordered prepared Thanksgiving Prime Rib meal for 8 - this may very well be the best meal I ever had, let alone best Thanksgiving meal. The chef was amazingly kind and accommodating. Pretty sure I couldn't have even bought the ingredients for the price charged. Soooooo worth it. Best kept secret!“

“My friend and I had lunch on Tuesday. We arrived there around noon, and there was no line yet! There is a large parking lot in front of the restaurant. If it’s full, there is additional parking underground. As soon as we placed our order and found a table for two, there was a line of people. The fish (grilled) was good!! Not dry at all!! I loved that there were so many hot sauces to choose from. I also enjoyed the roasted yellow peppers…!! they were meaty and not spicy. Since I ordered a combo, I picked their hibiscus tea, which was tart and sweet, just the way I like it! I will definitely go back to try other items.“

“Came here on a birthdsy friendly date night recommend by my foodie girlfriend. First thing you'll notice is the ambiance, I loved it. Our service was excellent. Now, as a fine dinning chef myself we can get into the food.

The dumplings in curry sauce, very nice!
Baked Oysters, perfectly cooked, flavor profile, meh. Tuna Tostada, too small and under seasoned. Roast Pork, is so close to perfect. Cocnut rice was lovely as well. Drinks are creative and fun. Desserts were decent. The bad? Portion sizes are a joke. And it's likely you'll have to eat again, after already having eaten here.

My thoughts? Overall, a fun experience, especially as our server was awesome and honestly made some good suggestions. The food is fun, well executed and very creative. The decore and over all ambiance is dope. My compliments to the chef for having balls enough to push elevated cuisine in new directions. 🤌“

“It was an early work day when I get to my hotel. They don’t have early check in but I wanted to take in the nice day by walking and enjoying the L.A vibes. Found a seafood spot on Google that off photos looked amazing. Decided to make the 20min walk in the hot heat, my hunger got the better of me and I got my lazy butt up for the journey. I get to the end just to find the place is no longer in business. Walking can defeated and still hungry I come across this food truck. Now let me say I’m from Chicago and food trucks are still a bit taboo for me. But since I’m too tired to look for anything farther than I can throw a rock I decide to give this joint a go. Let me just say this place did not disappoint. The service from the jump was 5 star, everything about it was top notch. The portions are exactly what you want for your buck. Options are on point and have so much to pick from. I had to return for dinner and try the fish tacos. Also amazing , this is a must stop and try taco spot. I will be back in a couple of weeks for work and be sure to go straight from the airport to this spot to get my fix. Gang Gang“

“A friend recommended this restaurant and it's amazing. There's plenty of free self parking.
Staff was friendly and welcoming upon entering. The menu is placed high above counter where you order. They offer 4% discount if paying cash. Once you order, they give you a number and will bring food to your table.

The restaurant is clean with plenty of indoor seating. Nicely decorated. The music isn't too loud and you can enjoy a conversation.

Ordered the fish ceviche as well as the shrimp ceviche. They were both excellent, fresh, and yummy...but a bit spicy imo. It comes with salsa and tortilla chips. The staff is super friendly and kept checking to see if everything is ok. I asked for a little extra chips and they brought it right away.

Portions are good and prices are reasonable.

“The fish and chips were sooo good. The only negative thing I will say I didn’t like the coleslaw it tasted like pure mayo, like no seasonings or anything I felt like I was eating a spoon full of mayo. Other than that I liked the service the cashier was very nice.“

“First time here and i will say they give the HEALTHIEST fillet portions I’ve seen in a looong time! BUT if you don’t order jumbo shrimp you’ll be pissed off. The regular shrimp are so tiny.

Overall everything was seasoned well. Fried to perfection and my catfish was so juicy. I didn’t care for the fries but that’s just me I’m not a fry person.

Hush puppies were good. Bread nice and soft! And the tartar sauce is definitely home made.

Don’t forget to ask for extra hot sauce (THEY WILL ONLY GIVE YOU 1) and if you hate pickles (like me) don’t forget to tell them you don’t want them.

4 stars is for the small shrimp, pickles, and the 1 piece of a piece of a PIECE of lemon they gave me lol
