“While visiting Hermosa beach, came across this yummy spot 🙌 the options for tacos are wowwww same with the drinks 🙌 after much debating we went with :

Also an amazing shrimp ceviche tostada

“This is one of our favorite spots in the south bay! We love it so much we actually had our wedding reception at the rooftop. Food and service are always great and Andrew has been fantastic at taking care of our guests on our wedding day. Love their Iris Azul, El Pistachio and all the mezcal drinks. As for food - die for tortillas and decadent Chimichangas!“

“The Baseline: For a sit down upper-scale restaurant is the quality of the food, existence of any unique offerings, quality of the service, and ambiance of the overall dining experience.

Food: There was not a single dish that we had at Slay Hermosa that wasn’t great. Appetizers were the Fried Calamari and Watermelon Salad and wow to the salad. The Watermelon salad had an incredible white vinaigrette and tajin spice. Get this salad! The Double Smash burger was a solid burger. The entree star was the Pork Chop that was cooked perfectly and the bed of sweet corn risotto made it wonderful. For the finish was the Butter Cake that was warm and dense like I love it. Mixed with the ice cream with berry drizzle and my Cafe au Lait it was a perfect ender to the meal.

Service: Fantastic top notch service that covered us for our visit. We were always asked at the right time if we needed anything. Also we got the best suggestions from our waiter.

Ambiance: Hermosa Beach on a rooftop dining area right at sunset… perfect time to dine and all will be fine. Great setting for a great meal. Didn’t use the restroom but it was getting cleaned when I left. The dining area was clean and the restaurant while compartmentalized is very serviceable.“

“Had the absolute best time here last night! So pleased. Chef brought out some sugar snap peas that were crunchy, tasty, and thoughtful for a hungry party! Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious! Fish sandwich 10/10, mussels 10/10, great for vegetarian, pescatarian, or pregnant like myself so shopping for raw & cooked options for everyone at the table! “Ummm… Yum!! Who doesn't love seafood!? Well, I actually know a lot of people who don't like seafood, but I encourage those to try ConiSeafood because it has so much flavor that it doesn't taste or seem like you're eating seafood.

ConiSeafood is serving up Acaponeta, Nayarit-style seafood. Located in a small building in Inglewood, there offing a big menu full of goodness. From ceviche, fish dishes, shrimp dishes, soups and a few extras, you'll find something for your taste buds.

They offer indoor seating and outdoor seating. The space is very cozy. It was busy when we arrived, and had to wait just 10mins. The hostess greeted us when we walked in and once seated, our waiter was very attentive.

We got aguachiles and a shrimp plate. The aguachiles was good, but spicy. Just to warn you! The shrimp plate was delicious!“

“Came here on a birthdsy friendly date night recommend by my foodie girlfriend. First thing you'll notice is the ambiance, I loved it. Our service was excellent. Now, as a fine dinning chef myself we can get into the food.

The dumplings in curry sauce, very nice!
Baked Oysters, perfectly cooked, flavor profile, meh. Tuna Tostada, too small and under seasoned. Roast Pork, is so close to perfect. Cocnut rice was lovely as well. Drinks are creative and fun. Desserts were decent. The bad? Portion sizes are a joke. And it's likely you'll have to eat again, after already having eaten here.

My thoughts? Overall, a fun experience, especially as our server was awesome and honestly made some good suggestions. The food is fun, well executed and very creative. The decore and over all ambiance is dope. My compliments to the chef for having balls enough to push elevated cuisine in new directions. 🤌“

“This was formerly a M- star restaurant and it is no suprise why based on the food. The ambiance isn't anything to write home about and some of the seat cushions were ripped up. The server's explained the food really well and food came fast. Would definitely recommend this for a seafood lover and for someone who enjoys spicy food. I had a few dishes that I had never heard of like a drink made with condensed milk, coconut water and something else...it was good. The green sauce they serve with the chips is VERY spicy. Would definitely go again and try some different things.“

“I came across Playa Provisions when in town for business. It was a short Uber from the airport, so I figured I'd give it a try. This place is an absolute gem! It is a unique setup that has everything you'd possibly need from morning until late at night: Cafe in the front for coffee and fresh baked good, as well as full breakfast menu. Later in the heat of the afternoon, take a break from the beach (right across the street) and enjoy hand scooped specialty ice cream cones and shakes. Oh look, it's dinner time... and Playa Provisions opens their dining room and bar, some of the best, most relaxed ambience you'll find for miles around. But don't let the casual setting fool you, this is some incredible, elevated cuisine. Chef owners Nick and Brooke (who you might recognize) crafted a menu that's I've been eating my way through, and have yet to find a dish that's not delicious. You've been eating and drinking all day, and are exhausted? Don't leave yet! Wander into the back 'secret' whiskey bar, (Grain Whiskey Bar) and enjoy hand crafted cocktails from award winning bartenders (no, literally), in a gorgeous wood laden atmosphere. “BlueSalt Fish Grill is truly a hidden gem. The food is tasty but affordable, the service is good, and the atmosphere is nice and casual. Don't expect a Michelin-starred experience, but you'll get some pretty darn good food for the price of 1.5 - 2.4 Big Macs. I enjoy the fried fish taco plate with stewed chickpeas and garden salad, but pretty much all of the menu items are quite decent. Give it a try!“

“My friend and I had lunch on Tuesday. We arrived there around noon, and there was no line yet! There is a large parking lot in front of the restaurant. If it’s full, there is additional parking underground. As soon as we placed our order and found a table for two, there was a line of people. The fish (grilled) was good!! Not dry at all!! I loved that there were so many hot sauces to choose from. I also enjoyed the roasted yellow peppers…!! they were meaty and not spicy. Since I ordered a combo, I picked their hibiscus tea, which was tart and sweet, just the way I like it! I will definitely go back to try other items.“

“A friend recommended this restaurant and it's amazing. There's plenty of free self parking.
Staff was friendly and welcoming upon entering. The menu is placed high above counter where you order. They offer 4% discount if paying cash. Once you order, they give you a number and will bring food to your table.

The restaurant is clean with plenty of indoor seating. Nicely decorated. The music isn't too loud and you can enjoy a conversation.

Ordered the fish ceviche as well as the shrimp ceviche. They were both excellent, fresh, and yummy...but a bit spicy imo. It comes with salsa and tortilla chips. The staff is super friendly and kept checking to see if everything is ok. I asked for a little extra chips and they brought it right away.

Portions are good and prices are reasonable.

“It was such a lovely venture out for my Mom’s birthday, on Friday. Alex and Dominique (management) are quite lovely, and helped make our dining experience all the more, a joy! Love the new additions to the menu, particularly the Mini Steak French Dips. The Chicken Parmesan was excellent with the twist of those ‘pepper-like sweet’ tomatoes. If there is ever something you want to bring back to the menu I would highly suggest the sliders, they were missed for sure lol! Looking forward to dining again here, soon. Cheers! ✨💖🥂“

“It was an early work day when I get to my hotel. They don’t have early check in but I wanted to take in the nice day by walking and enjoying the L.A vibes. Found a seafood spot on Google that off photos looked amazing. Decided to make the 20min walk in the hot heat, my hunger got the better of me and I got my lazy butt up for the journey. I get to the end just to find the place is no longer in business. Walking can defeated and still hungry I come across this food truck. Now let me say I’m from Chicago and food trucks are still a bit taboo for me. But since I’m too tired to look for anything farther than I can throw a rock I decide to give this joint a go. Let me just say this place did not disappoint. The service from the jump was 5 star, everything about it was top notch. The portions are exactly what you want for your buck. Options are on point and have so much to pick from. I had to return for dinner and try the fish tacos. Also amazing , this is a must stop and try taco spot. I will be back in a couple of weeks for work and be sure to go straight from the airport to this spot to get my fix. Gang Gang“

“First time eating from this place. Did take out. Everything we order was delicious. We got 7 different items from the menu. All of them were good. Expect to wait if you want quality and fresh seafood. We drove to near by store to kill some time. They texted us when our order was ready. They did tell us it would take around 40 minutes and we were okay with that. Don't know the owners but very happy for them that they finally have a restaurant location. With time they will learn to manage and get the hang of the traffic a restaurant requires.
