“Low key ice cream joint, don't be turned off by the lack of decor or sketchy area the flavors are actually good! I parked in the lot on the side, most of the spots are 15 min only so I would try to find a parking spot in the lot other than the street. We got a triple with pistchio cucumber and Turkish coffee. All different and intriguing flavors. definitely get the unique flavors as opposed to your standard chocolate chip since you can get that anywhere.“

They have the new Dubai chocolate sundae.
The eating place is quiet and neat on weekdays.
The ice cream flavors are pretty limited. If you want ice cream then other places would have variety. The sundae and milk shakes are ok, bit pricy. But that’s expected due to the location.“

“These people are incredible and the Gelato is better than 99% of the Gelato I had in Italy. They opened during Covid and SURVIVED if that tells you anything. Both of them are wonderful humans and the Gelato is extraordinary. Plus they saved dogs from food markets overseas. Doesn't get much better. Please check them out.“

“The cookies and cream ice cream is so good! They also give you a generous portion. The ice cream doesn’t melt easily even when we were eating outside in a hot weather. I have to mention they have a lot of vegan options too! And lastly, the staff is really nice which makes the overall experience really great. 😊“

“I came across Playa Provisions when in town for business. It was a short Uber from the airport, so I figured I'd give it a try. This place is an absolute gem! It is a unique setup that has everything you'd possibly need from morning until late at night: Cafe in the front for coffee and fresh baked good, as well as full breakfast menu. Later in the heat of the afternoon, take a break from the beach (right across the street) and enjoy hand scooped specialty ice cream cones and shakes. Oh look, it's dinner time... and Playa Provisions opens their dining room and bar, some of the best, most relaxed ambience you'll find for miles around. But don't let the casual setting fool you, this is some incredible, elevated cuisine. Chef owners Nick and Brooke (who you might recognize) crafted a menu that's I've been eating my way through, and have yet to find a dish that's not delicious. You've been eating and drinking all day, and are exhausted? Don't leave yet! Wander into the back 'secret' whiskey bar, (Grain Whiskey Bar) and enjoy hand crafted cocktails from award winning bartenders (no, literally), in a gorgeous wood laden atmosphere. I consider myself a foodie, and try as many different restaurants and cuisines as I can. And yet, Playa Provisions remains my favorite restaurant in LA (and that's saying something, considering the amazing places in LA). Run, don't walk, to Playa Provisions. You'll thank me.“

Sebastian allowed us to sample some products and provided some creative suggestions when it came to combination like a peanut butter and jelly like option when it came to gelato. He was extremely patient with me as I made chose a flavor or gelato to take home and even promoted the points system when imputing our phone number before purchasing it. His service alone is 5 stars alone and the products that were sold were extremely delicious as well, I am looking forward to trying more flavors and running into him again for more suggestions he comes across of.“

My favorite flavor is the Stracciatella or cookie butter, but they are all good. Seasonal eggnog ice cream is our favorite. Coffee is absolute perfection. Cortado and Latte are especially good. Handcrafted drinks, made with love. The owner is super nice, always takes time to talk to my son and I. This place is a gem, and it is run by genuinely kind and good people.
