“The vibe here is friendly and creative—lots of locals working or catching up. I ordered the Soul Bowl and a drip coffee; both hit the spot. The playlist is great and not too loud, which I appreciate. There’s a nice breeze on the patio in the afternoon. Staff were quick to buss tables and keep things tidy.“

“The service was great the gentleman name was Bryon he was very smart and on point. He was by himself but he had the right music playing and a smile on his face. My food was great the server suggested I try the j*** salmon with fried rice and cabbage excellent choice. He also mention Patties which I never had before wow they were good. I appreciate his patience because it was serval occasion were people just walked up trying to order while I was sitting down ordering. Overall great experience I’ll be back soon!!!“

“Was visiting from Arizona was blown away by this place. I lived in the south for 30 years and this cooking reminded me of being back there. Who knew you could get grits in LA but chicken and waffles are to die for everything‘s good. We sat outside and had lunch. It was such a beautiful day, nice owner and staff“
