“They call it a nightclub, I think of it more of a great dive bar. It is clean inside and there are places to sit and they have pool tables and a dance floor. They always have a cool DJ. It is not quiet so be ready for that. Everyone is just having a great time.

The customers are nice and I have never seen an issue there. The staff is super great and they have enough people so you are not waiting at the bar for 20 minutes to get a drink. Their prices are fair and we are always able to find parking, usually on the street.

You can't miss the place, it has a huge green horse on the roof. They have the best tacos and we love taco Tuesday.

Now, it may get a little crowded on the weekend so we tend to go on weekdays.

They make the best drinks. When we go with a group I never drink because I am the one driving. Sometimes they give me my coke for free.

It is just a great locals place, but they love tourists and get them as well.

You will love this little hangout.“

“Farmhouse kitchen is the best Thai restaurant I’ve ever had. On top of the food being great and delicious, the presentation makes you want to order everything from the menu. Chef Bo was so nice to come out to our table and all I can say is she was a very nice, young & talented person. She even made me a special dessert for my birthday. “Cool little bar, not a lot of room, but I think this is the type of spot you pop in on the way some where else so not a lounge type of bar. We met up with friends here before a concert and its was nice. Bar tenders were very attentive and made sure we were taken care of while we were there. I ordered an espresso martini, superb! Almost got another one but didn't wanna go overboard before the concert.“

He was accommodating to our group of ~30 people. He and the staff were so friendly and took care of orders quickly. Will definitely be back for dinner and drinks!“

“For Venice this was 5* for me. Attentive staff, good cocktail/wine list, and most marvelous sausage/rabe orecchiette pasta. Loved the meatballs, okay pizza (mostly because all LA pizzas taste the same, soggy in the middle, yeasty fluffy crust and whatever else on the middle), but the pasta...it was a little chewy, a little doughy (all in the best way possible), perfectly saucy, spiced to perfection. The Nebbiolo they source washes down splendidly after all the protein/carb intake. Servers are attentive, knowledgeable, non-intrusive but always around and quick.“

“So so good! Their basic house salad had a very clean, delicious taste with a lemon vinaigrette. We also got a cheese pizza and 10/10 would recommend. Was a thin crust pizza but good crispy crust, not too thin. I got a strawberry spritz, non-alcoholic drink that was fresh and my friend got the Espresso Martini. I'd never tried one before but had a sip and will absolutely get it next time, very smooth. The bartender was nice and attentive.“

“Hands down my favorite bar. We discovered this bar while working on the Fox Studio Lot and have become regulars ever since. The Mozzatini is to DIE FOR. And the bartenders are just so nice. This bar doesn’t have the pretentious feeling most bars have in Los Angeles. I will continue to be a regular for as long as it stays this way. But really, try the Mozzatini. Its so so good.

Parking: There’s always parking off from Pico, but you may need to walk a few minutes. Just check both sides of the road. And don’t park in the neighborhood, you will get a ticket.“

Baked scallops, great flavor; lobster pasta I highly recommend because the sauce could be eaten by itself it’s so good; smoke salmon Benedict was done to perfection and the highlight for me was the addition of avocado and a very thin super crispy muffin! I always think muffins are too big so that was a big plus for me.“

Beautiful restaurant and ambience. Great drinks and customer service. Though I’ve never dined during dinner to try other items on the menu, the cheesesteak is enough to keep me coming back!

We priced out a ton of venues, particularly in Los Feliz/Silver Lake where we live, and Spare Room was hands down the best option and worth the 'schlep' from our side of town. Great cocktails, stellar pre-order food options (you can order there but for bigger groups it's worth pre-ordering), the bowling was a super fun activity to keep people entertained, and all of the servers were very attentive and friendly. Whether you're looking to host a party or just a fun night out with friends, Spare Room should be on your short list for sure. Also the hidden photo-booth! “We have been going to Horses ever since they opened since it’s right in our neighborhood. The most friendly staff with a big shout out to Amanda. The most amazing craft cocktails and absolutely delicious food. I think we’ve almost tried everything on the menu and have not been disappointed once. Can be hard to get a reservation, but we usually get there at 5:15 and are able to sit at the bar with no problem.“
