“As a family with a celiac, this place is a godsend. The food pairs so well with their wine selection. The owner is a Som and knows her stuff. Bummer that their bakery had to close due to the terrible economy, but they still have a small selection. The biscuits are pretty insane! A+“

Came here on a suggestion from a friend who's very sensitive to gluten. She could literally eat anything on the menu she was overwhelmed for the first time in ages!

Reasonably priced considering the food and atmosphere.

Food was excellent, the garlic bread was incredible!

I got the chicken and beef shawarma plate as a main dish. I loved the chicken it was juicy and flavorful. The shawarma, was a little over done on the spices but the meat was insanely tender.

We also had the garlic sauce, only get that if you love garlic otherwise it'll be too much.

For dessert I got their huge cookie which was really good!

I don't usually like gluten free food, but this spot nailed it perfectly, would recommend even to non gluten folks.

Atmosphere is beautiful, it definitely feels like you're somewhere else once you're inside or even in their outdoor area.

Staff was very friendly and more than helpful!

As soon as we parked the smell of the outdoor grill hit us. We knew we were in for something special.

We were sat immediately with a reservation, and had the best service. Mike was our waiter and was everything you want in a server and more. He was present but not overly so, he knew his wines well, and was clearly very passionate about the food. He’s service absolutely made our night!

The food was the only thing that overshadowed Mike’s excellence, every bite was divine.

We shared the hummus toast, zucchini, Japanese, sweet potato, Shishito peppers. And for mains enjoyed a chicken skewer, lamb chops, and ribeye.

The lamb was seasoned and cooked perfectly, being my best bite of the night, but the chicken skewer won the hearts of the larger group.

We finished off with their chocolate cake which was perfectly gooey in the center.

There is so much more I would come back for. The atmosphere was just spectacular! Beautiful outdoor seating area, suitable for larger groups or small tables. Good music and great vibes.

All in all I’m just upset that I didn’t come try this place sooner. Definitely going to be a staple of mine moving forward.

“This is my go-to spot with my cousin and some girlfriends. We usually get the mushroom pizza and the garlic bread knot. The drinks are always great (we alternate between their cocktails and the wines). We especially love the outdoor patio area—the ambiance is nice and relaxed. It's a spot that we will definitely come back to again and again.“

“The best vegan baked goods around town! I had the cornbread, almond cookie (gluten free), chocolate chip (gluten free), and Armenian pizza with a mixed tea. So good!“

“Last time I went I had the fior de latte, pistachio, hazelnut flavors which are absolutely amazing. They have so many interesting seasonal flavors like tiramisu, peach, truffle, and even rhubarb. Its amazing the amount of international presence in the ice cream. All natural ingredients, nothing artificial, everything tastes so organic, smooth, and exactly like the base flavor. And the owners are so charming and hard working. However, it is VERY expensive for ice cream, id go back everyday if 3 scoops and waffle cone wasnt almost 20 bucks. I understand it is because everything is to the highest standard and super amazing quality, unfortunately the price is just very high. So all in all, amazing treat, amazing place, with high price tag.“

“Honestly, not sure why they received some low ratings for service. The food was fresh and exactly the type of asian rice bowl taste I expected with moist soft rice and lightly sauced grilled chicken; not greasy at all. The cash register employee and cook were both extremely nice and explained everything on the menu in detail and with good etiquette.“

“Such a cute little space with a great ethical commitment and excellent food! I brought my partner here to grab a quick lunch to go. We each got a banh mi (I got the lemongrass chicken, no mayo, and they got the pork) and a sparkling limeade. The person who took our order was super friendly and the food came out fast. We were both impressed by just how big the sandwiches were and how much protein was on them! And the limeade was incredible - just slightly sparkling with a hint of saltiness.“

I do have to say, though that I like this location far better than the one on Abbott Kinney because they have more choices for me. “Never had a bad cookie here. I love how creative and simple their offerings are each month. For a small bake shop everything is crafted with love, from the decor of the shop, to the packaging, down to the fresh ingredients in each cookie. The Cheeto cookie got me hooked and I'll keep comitback for more!“

This location is located in the Culver City Cuisine pick up area and I order from restaurants here all the time and had no idea moon bowls was located there as well. So good and healthy! “Excellent place for all bakery products. This always a queue, soliciting the lovely Brazil. I loved the big Sangki bread and the Banana Bread. The hummus and yoghurt dip, what's awesome? It's her secret recipe for over the years. I heard conversations where the third generation had come to buy from the bakery. It is an excellent place to have your morning breakfast and start the day with an excellent taste combined with health. Reasonable prices great value for money“
