“I've driven by countless times and never knew what it was. I won't make that mistake again. The food is varied and all good. From Pho to curry. Everything was made fresh, and we were all happy. The only miss was that there was no mint with the fried eggrolls.“
“We are regulars here because the service is top notch, the food/sushi is excellent, and the bartenders remember us and our favorite drinks every time we grab a seat at the bar. The Rose Roll is second to none, the Ramen is bomb, and my partner loves the Lemon Cilantro Roll as well. It can get really busy late night on the weekends and sushi during these times can take a long time to come out (understandably) so plan ahead, be patient and kind. Mahalo!Parking: The ground floor of the parking structure next door is free for restaurant parking! And it has EV Chargers!“
“Restaurant Review: Panda Machi Alpine, San DiegoNestled in the heart of San Diego, Panda Machi Alpine offers a delightful fusion of Chinese cuisine and sushi, promising a culinary experience that is both unique and memorable. The restaurant's ambiance strikes a fine balance between elegance and comfort, making it an ideal spot for both casual lunches and special occasions. The star of the menu is undoubtedly the Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings, a dish that tantalizes the taste buds with its perfect blend of spices and crispiness. Each bite is a testament to the chef's mastery in balancing flavors and textures.Another standout is their Salmon Nigiri, which has been hailed as 'the best on the planet' by many of its patrons. It's a simple dish executed to perfection.Panda Machi Alpine also offers a range of affordable lunch specials, which are a hit among the local crowd. These specials provide a great opportunity to sample a variety of dishes without breaking the bank, making the restaurant a must-visit destination for food enthusiasts. In conclusion, Panda Machi Alpine is more than just a dining spot; it's a culinary journey that brings the best of Chinese and sushi under one roof. Whether you're a local or someone looking for a destination drive for a unique dining experience, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.“
“We've been coming to Domo since they first opened. It's our go-to sushi spot. One of my favorites is the Hamachi-Buri Kama. They only have so many each day, so it's first come first serve and takes about 15 minutes to prepare.“
“Haven't been here in over a year because I thought it was overpriced last time I was here. BUT came in because of the happy hour sign to see what was new. Surprised to find better prices good food and great service thank you and I will definitely be coming back more oftenPictured is the happy hour spicy California roll, great but the Chula vista roll is next.“
“This place is dope!! After a phenomenal dinner experience, it’s earned our favorite sushi spot in Chula Vista.Happy hour Monday through Wednesday is all day. Lucky us, we had dinner on a Wednesday night here.Immediately loved the vibes.Drinks were great. I loved the mango martini with chili. Our food was just as good. Lemon cilantro roll was the perfect amount of fresh fish, lemon and yummy goodness. The crunchy roll wasn’t bad either! I loved how fresh the shrimp tempura is. We also loved the seared tuna nigiri on the HH menu. It was super spicy and had a smoky kick. We loved it!We were most surprised at the top tier service. All the employees were kind. Everyone greeted us when we got there and when we left. Our food came out soooo fast! I couldn’t believe it. All of our rolls were ready within 5 minutes of ordering it. Insane! Shout out to our server Nika. She recommended the spicy ponzu sauce and I loved it so much. The restaurant is almost like a club. If it’s your birthday, there’s a mini show with cow bells, a happy birthday sign, lights and all.“
“Came in for a quick father-son dinner. Waitress (older Hispanic female) didn't seem too interested to service us and checked up on us maybe twice during the entire meal. Cameron, the other sushi chefs behind the bar, and other wait staff took care of us and gave us a better experience. I regret not having cash on hand to give them the tip they deserve. If I come back, it'll definitely be because of them.Food was fresh and delicious, definitely no complaints there. Food came out at a reasonable pace, considering how busy the restaurant was.“
“I love this place it is our friday spot. A couple of years ago i made the mistake of talking my 3 kids into trying sushi. Since then going to Ahi became more costly. This place is a great value for sushi loving families and the food is great. The service is awesome as well. You could find a more expensive sushi joint if you wanted to but why?“
“The restaurant is clean and not loud at all. I can't be in loud crowded spaces and this place is so welcoming. The food was fresh and our orders came out quickly. The best roll was the salmon lover roll and the smoked salmon nigiri sushi. Definitely a must try“
“The food and the variety of rolls are very good. I tried the toro and it was so fresh and melts in the mouth. The restaurant is located in a busy plaza, so recommended for dinner more than lunch to find a spot for your car. Their service is fast and they have that nice ship which gives an amazing presentation to “
“Smaller than I remember, but I understand that with the times, I guess. Also, remember, if you order anything to go and you want it to be separate from other sushi rolls. You have to specify that, or they will shove them all together to probably save money. I don't know.?“
“The wait staff was attentive and prompt. Our food was delicious. Special requests were honored with a smile and at minimal to no extra charge. I added avocado to my poke and it only cost $1!My friend forgot her leftovers and one of the staff ran out to the parking lot to give it to her. That's unheard of and was very appreciated! Great experience! We will be back.Parking: Always plenty of parking“
“My pops and I come here a lot on Saturdays when we are both off of work. The first time he ever tried wasabi here was the most memorable, funniest, happy-sad memory I have ever had with my Dad. The sushi is really good, the service (No table service, but you can dine in) is great. The atmosphere is amazing with most people ordering take out, and only a few tables available. No table service, which I have found great as I'm used to - sort of a Mexican thing. Y'all pick up after yourselves and don't forget, ever, to push in your chairs after your done eating ! ?Parking: It's right in a shopping center, plenty of parking right up front.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, there is handicap parking ?️, plenty of it right up front, including van access ♿.“
“Yi Sushi is my fiancé and I’s absolute favorite sushi restaurant! We order to-go probably once a week and come dine in every so often, and every experience has been delightful! I LOVE their sashimi, always super fresh and good size pieces as well.“
“We've been a Poki bowl binge this week. We were in the area today and decided to find a poki one n half near by.We got our usual regular bowls with 3 scoops of protein. I like this spot because they have lobster! The staff was quick with our order. This location is well kept and clean. The bowls were so good we always finish the entire bowl.Overall happy with this location as well. Not close to us but it will be the one we go to if we are in the area.“
“I have been here a few times with my family and it's one of the best Asian spots close by. Otay Sushi has such a unique (in a good way) menu. My favorites are the bulgogi entree, chicken karaage, and super albacore roll. You can never go wrong with those. It is also super cool that they have a spicy salmon handroll for 3 dollars, and it tastes delicious! The service is also great.“
“Calm atmosphere. There's a good selection of rolls ? and Japanese cuisine. I had the Sunset Roll, Seared Ahi Roll, Udon soup ? and gyoza/tempura shrimp ? appetizer. My only real complaint is that the Wasabi does not have any 'kick' at all, very, very mild.“
“Savoring Perfection at Alpine Sushi: My Top Spot in San Diego! THE HANDS DOWN ABSOLUTE BEST!!! The owner is the most kind and talented chef. Every bite at Alpine Sushi is a symphony of flavors, a dance of freshness that captivates the palate. The attention to detail in each roll is nothing short of artistry - a testament to the chef's dedication to perfection. The prices are unbeatable for the quality and grade you get. Some favorites; Crispy rice tuna, Lady roll, Salomon roll, Crispy chicken wings, dragon roll..... there are so many“
“Great doesn't even begin to describe Konnichiwa. I come from a family that has fished in SanDiego for the last 60yrs so I am well aware of quality of seafood. This establishment is the bomb. Chef Juan and his crew prepare your plate with flair and fashion. Quality of food is impeccable. Fresh, fresh, fresh and the service is first rate. Amanda, Ben, German and Julia serve you top rate from the moment you step inside greeting you and making sure the fantastic flavors are to your liking. Carol the owner should be proud to have employees that care about the quality and service they deliver. (No after COVID customer service here) Don't let the size of the building fool you. Small but japanese style seating. Fantastic atmosphere with emoji style comic book flair everywhere. ありがとうございます, Domo arigatou and thank you. Super glad to have met you all and hope to see you in the future when I return to my homeland roots. Ciao.“
“Good quality sushi. I was able to get my money's worth of sushi while doing th ayce. On our first round, we ordered a dragon roll but didn't receive it. No biggie. We ordered it again on our second round, and we thought we wouldn't receive it again, but it just came out late. I really like the beef gyoza.“
“I'm a BIG sushi lover and I was impressed by how delicious the food was here!! Everything was delicious from the sushi rolls to the miso soup. Order the lemon cilantro rolls!!! They were mind blowing good! Place is kind of small but there were people in and out. It's clean and plenty of parking. No loud music thankfully! They were showing a basketball game. People were eating, chatting, watching the game and drinking their saki. Very friendly service. Very good vibe. Plenty of parking. I will be BACK!!“
“I really enjoyed my experience at Loft 94. It's a great spot in Jamul Casino to get some delicious food. The service there was pretty good. It wasn't too busy because we went on a Tuesday night. Unfortunately it was already dark by the time we got in, but I'm sure the views during sunset would be amazing. The terrace was beautiful with large fire pits, heaters, and comfy couches. The food was great. I ordered the Mazeman Ramen with Pork Belly. We also had the Ouchi Eggs (SO GOOD), the wings, and Shishido peppers. The ramen was good, nothing very unique, but a solid choice. The pork belly was juicy and real fatty. The wings were pretty good and worth ordering as an appetizer. The drinks we ordered from the bar were not the greatest, but cheaper than if you ordered at the bar down in the casino.“
