“We stayed in a nearby hotel for 2 nights and came across Pacific Catch as something of a default option when we were tired and just wanted a quick, relatively healthy meal. What a delight, this place totally exceeded my expectations. It was so good we came back again on our second night.\n\nThe food is extremely fresh (I had the ahi sashimi each night, once as a share plate, the second time in a bowl) and tasty. The service was excellent.\n\nI would definitely go back if I am ever in the area again.“

WOW - What a beautiful and clear day, with just a 'hint' of fog over the Golden Gate Bridge to the ocean side. The food was Fabulous - mine was a 'classic' "Crab Louie," with lots and lots of wonderful crab, and Tiramisu for dessert! Our servers were Alex and Francisco ("Francisco:))" who attended to our every need - even politely and notably giving extra time, as I was Determined to enjoy EVERY bite of my more than delicious, Crab Louie!! With a menu that is FULL of Classic Bay Area Seafood offerings, an Iconic setting and ambiance, and Incredible view of San Francisco Bay, Golden Gate Bridge and The City, I would change nothing about my visit! “Delicious, authentic Vietnamese restaurant in the heart of downtown San Rafael. I just had the very best bowl of pho ever! The broth tastes amazing - I suspect that their pho broth is homemade. Golden Era looks unassuming from the outside, and I have been reluctant to try it, but this is now my absolute favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Marin. I had the chicken wings and beef rib pho. The chicken wings were generously sized, crispy and fully cooked, yet juicy and tender. I realize I've become accustomed to freezer burnt undersized wings at other local Vietnamese restaurants. The beef rib pho had a huge tender, cooked to perfection rib, AND several large pieces of incredibly tender sliced beef (prime rib? so good!). I'm blown away by the broth! Every other Vietnamese restaurant I've ever been to has the same powdered, tastes like gym socks buillion broth. Okay, maybe Slanted Door and Golden Era 1 have housemade broth.

This is the tasty, high quality comfort Asian/Asian fusion food you've been looking for. And at such good prices! The menu is on the small side, but I think that's a good thing, so they can focus on their delicious dishes. Family run, these folks try super hard to make delicious food for their customers.“

“Extremely fresh chinese food - top dishes for me are the Special Steak which is perfectly tender, the Tommy Fried rice, and the Steamed dim-sum. Always good - and quick.

Update:- years later, still a big fan. Super Chinese food that’s always consistently top notch and honestly as good as anything I’ve had in expensive Hong Kong or Beijing renowned eateries. Such a Sausalito gem and glad it’s a stones throw away!“

“Loved the Bump Bar. Had an early Valentine's Day and Late Anniversary dinner in Feb 11. Enjoyed sitting at the end of the bar. Hosts and chef were friendly and inviting. Enjoyed learning about the Japanese grill used on the trout and steak dishes (which were delicious) never had potatoes prepared like the potato dish we had that night. Really enjoyed the California Caviar Company house flight of Caviar. We will go back again in the future. Thank you for a great night.“

“Eclectic restaurant in the old part of Hamilton field. Inside and outside seating. Really good and fresh calamari, where you can actually taste the squid. Fish tacos are excellent, fresh fish perfectly cooked and good value. Shrimp tacos were also good. Fettuccine jambalaya had a well developed sauce with a good mix of proteins. Finished with a Snickers cheesecake and strawberry pavlova, both excellent. Service was good with very friendly staff. Only downside was the smell of the deep fat fryer, probably should have sat outside. Recommended and will return.“

Right off the beach parking lot with park and seating area, and steps away from the beach itself, Parkside Cafe is a place I fully recommend. Extensive menu helped all in my group feel happy ordering from here. Apparently popular with the local population, too. Fast and professional service. Great beach atmosphere.“
