“They really have their service down. The staff was extremely attentive in an unobtrusive way, on top of being personable. Truly no notes on the service. The dining room atmosphere was decent. My only complaint is the bathroom location makes it feel disjointed from the restaurant (totally nitpicking there). I heard they are trying to get a michelin star, given the price point, and that the dishes were for the most part tweaked/elevated versions of classic dishes, I don't think the food was quite consistently excellent enough to get there. I think they are reasonably close. The crab pasta course was overwhemed a bit by the red pepper sauce it was a touch too acidic which competed with the flavor of the crab. the cheese desert seemed a little simplistic, and they weren't interesting enough to make up for the simplicity. The tuna carpaccio, while very tastey and well balance flavorwise, didn't highlight the tuna which was lightly seared, muting the flavor, and making it not feel like a tuna carpaccio dish. The duck was well cooked, but all the seasoning was in the sauce making it you you had to get the ratio of duck to sauce right for the seasoning to work. Ideally it would have been more evenly distributed. I think they could also use a little work on portion size. The carpaccio, and rissoto were a bit too big.
All of these details are very nitpicky, and we had a very nice evening, but if they want to get to that next level, I think these details need more attention.“

“We couldn’t have asked for a more stunning and magical location than MacArthur Place for our destination wedding in Sonoma, CA!
Not only is the venue beautiful, but the staff was exceptional. They were incredibly accommodating and worked closely with us, making sure every detail was handled with care. They were flexible, supportive, and truly invested in making our wedding day flawless. We couldn’t have done it without their hospitality.
We also highly recommend working with Alyssa Bray-Events, who helped us bring our vision to life and made the entire process stress-free. They worked seamlessly with the venue to ensure every detail was perfect. In addition, Alicia Parks Photography was incredible at capturing the beauty of the venue and the joy of the day, creating memories we will cherish forever.
If you're looking for a wedding venue in Sonoma with an amazing team behind it, MacArthur Place is absolutely the place. We are so grateful to have had our wedding here, and it was truly the best day of our lives!“

“Fabulous, delicious food from the appetizers to the desert. A huge shout-out for the excellent service. In this day & age even classy, expensive restaurants often offer mediocre service. The waitstaff at the Depot Hotel was highly efficient, observant, attentive, and courteous. It was a delight!“

“This is not just a pizza restaurant there are other dishes that are mostly good & have their own character. Their pizzas are tops & unique I love them. The service is attentive.
We keep going back since it is in a town we live in & the place is nice.“
“After a recommendation from the good folks at Winery Sixteen 600, we ordered two sandwiches for takeout and they were so delicious - the mortadella and the pastrami. We loved both. When we picked them up, they offered us free samples of soppressata while we waited just a minute. They were so friendly! Highly recommend!“

They went above and beyond for us! Thank you so much, delicious pizza, yummy raspberry lemon drops and the perfect ambiance for us ladies! Will definitely be back :) Misty even helped us record an awesome TikTok video to Shania Twain’s… Man, I feel like a woman! Thank you Misty for helping my family and I create a great memory!“

“Delicious sauce, amazing dough and fresh quality ingredients. Having been raised in Chicago, I am kind of a pizza snob. So when I say this is the best pizza I've had in my 30 yrs in Sonoma County, you should take notice. Brava!!“
“If Enoteca were a bottle of wine, it would be a perfectly aged red—full-bodied, rich, and likely to make you want to tell all your friends about it after the first sip. The atmosphere is equal parts cozy and classy, like the kind of place where you can feel sophisticated and still laugh until your cheeks hurt.
And then… there’s Lilly.
Lilly isn’t just an employee—she’s the heart, soul, and uncorked magic of Enoteca Sonoma. She could probably sell wine to a vineyard owner, and she somehow knows exactly what you need before you even realize it yourself. Need a pairing suggestion? She’s got it. Need a story about the wine that makes it taste even better? Done. Need someone to casually convince you to order another glass? She’s your girl.
Basically, Enoteca without Lilly would be like a wine glass without wine—functional, but missing the good stuff.
Five stars, two thumbs up, and a toast to Lilly for making every visit feel like the perfect pour. 🍷“

“Come for the SALAD...Stay for the Pizza, Raviolis and in this case....Split Pea soup. Good meal tonight. Love us a bunch of Mary's Pizza!🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕“

“Love Mary's. My grandson and I each had a meal that was new on the menu. Mine was the Fried Clams and his was the Chicken Picata. Both were outstanding. The batter on the clams was very light and crunchy. I also tasted his chicken and it was outstanding. Of course, we also had an order of the plain breadsticks. So happy I live in a town with two Mary's Pizza Shacks.“

“The Sonoma Grille has been a favorite since we’ve vacationed in Sonoma over the years. It is within walking distance of lodging and Sonoma Square. We enjoy sitting at the bar; the cocktails are yummy and the service is always great! A generous portion of hand dredged Calamari was fresh and came with 2 sauces. The Pepperdelle was flavorful and the tiger shrimp were a nice size. The beet salad was fresh and hit the spot. We will definitely be back the next time we are in the area. This restaurant does not disappoint.“

“Wish we could visit you more often but we live in Dixon (1 1/2 hrs. away) and we went to the fair today and chose your restaurant for lunch/dinner. Very nice interior, seated right away, and taken care of quickly. We want to give 5 star award to our server Eddiann. Hope I spelled that correctly. She was attentive, courteous, helpful, and went out of her way to make sure we had a great dining experience. She makes Mary's a great place. Definitely a keeper. Next time we're in Santa Rosa we'll know where to dine. Thank you!!“

“Nice little market w/fantastic sandwiches. I never thought I’d order anything other than their Godfather sandwich (tri tip) until I tried their meatball sub, now it’s pretty much a toss up between the two. Good selection of drinks, basic grocery needs, and candy/treats as well. I definitely recommend checking it out!“

“Went for their remarkable handmade pasta, but decided to try the new Korean BBQ entree. A Wagu-style short rib, specially marinated for days, served with special Korean plum sauce. It is expensive ($138), but would easily serve 4-6. We had another full dinner from the leftovers. You also must have the kimchi fried rice side. We ordered the Autumn salad as a shared starter. Burrata, chicory, persimmons, fabulous dressing. Easily served two. No room for dessert, but they do great baked goods. I can also attest to their superior pizzas - the Diavola with Calabrian pepper honey. Yum. As always, Heidi was an attentive, gracious hostess and our server was friendly with just the right level of attentiveness. Should be on everyone's list for Sonoma Valley.“
