Not only is the venue beautiful, but the staff was exceptional. They were incredibly accommodating and worked closely with us, making sure every detail was handled with care. They were flexible, supportive, and truly invested in making our wedding day flawless. We couldn’t have done it without their hospitality.
We also highly recommend working with Alyssa Bray-Events, who helped us bring our vision to life and made the entire process stress-free. They worked seamlessly with the venue to ensure every detail was perfect. In addition, Alicia Parks Photography was incredible at capturing the beauty of the venue and the joy of the day, creating memories we will cherish forever.
If you're looking for a wedding venue in Sonoma with an amazing team behind it, MacArthur Place is absolutely the place. We are so grateful to have had our wedding here, and it was truly the best day of our lives!“

“What a great place for lunch! Behind the storefront is a lovely patio for outdoor dining, so don't let the storefront fool you.
We tried truffle onion rings....they did not disappoint. The pizza selections make it hard to pick just one.
The house wine was ok.....not the best I have had in Sonoma.
The service is very friendly.

“Some of the best salami we’ve ever had, and the bagna cauda was amazing! Also enjoyed the breadsticks and tiramisu. Didn’t realize the owner is actually a former Michelin star chef - he was so friendly and helpful (I’ve worked for a few celebrity chefs before and find many of them egotistical - this man was not). Hope Ovello stays around for a long time. Can’t wait to come back and try more items.“

“This weekend we went to Union hotel in Santa Rosa to celebrate my sister’s bachelorette party and we had such a fun experience! We are so thankful to our server Misty and the rest of the team! They went above and beyond for us! Thank you so much, delicious pizza, yummy raspberry lemon drops and the perfect ambiance for us ladies! Will definitely be back :) Misty even helped us record an awesome TikTok video to Shania Twain’s… Man, I feel like a woman! Thank you Misty for helping my family and I create a great memory!“

“We drank a bottle of good Resiling from Sonoma with delicious Fish and Israel couscous and the hot seafood sampler.... pricey but DELICIOUS. The tiramisu was almost as good as the one we had in Italy, and the coffee was the bomb! The host was friendly and staff on point although our waiter would've scored a bigger tip with a little more attention to our table. We recommend this highly!“

The batter on the clams was very light and crunchy. I also tasted his chicken and it was outstanding. Of course, we also had an order of the plain breadsticks. So happy I live in a town with two Mary's Pizza Shacks.“

“Nice little market w/fantastic sandwiches. I never thought I’d order anything other than their Godfather sandwich (tri tip) until I tried their meatball sub, now it’s pretty much a toss up between the two. Good selection of drinks, basic grocery needs, and candy/treats as well. I definitely recommend checking it out!“

“It's in a great location close to Howerth Park. Good for walks after dinner and the park has a great playground for the kids. Also like that it is close to a Yogurt shop. Food is always consistent and good with friendly service most afternoons and evenings. Can get busy though. Does a lot of business and there may be up to a 20 min wait for tables at peak times on weekends. Plan ahead about 30 min.
Vegetarian options: Would be salads and vegetable pizzas and pastas.
Dietary restrictions: Will work with milk, nut and gluten-free.
