I did a burger tour around LA last month when I was in town. This place barely made my list of the 5 places I narrowed it down to, and boy am I glad it did. It was the best burger I had during the trip.

I don't know if it's something in the beef blend they're using or if it's just the combo of grilled onions, that sauce, and those beautiful smashed patties, but it managed to be so much more than the sum of its parts. Easily one of the best burgers I've ever eaten. Bravo.

My wife had the reuben, which was also great. This is the burger I'd eat again if I went back to LA.“

Their original fries were also very good and a good sized portion. “We were down in Hollywood for a play and found this great spot for dinner. Everything was very tasty. I had the Stout burger with onion rings. I will say thr onion rings were my favorite. Nice, thin cut onions, batter and perfectly fried to the perfect crisp. The burger had a great mix of flavors with caramelized onions, bleu cheese and horseradish sauce. My husband had a burger with an egg and enjoyed it with his nitro stout. Staff were friendly and helpful too. Thanks all for a great evening.“

“Great place. From the east coast, was in the area (Glendale). I heard through colleagues this had a great burger. Silver lake is a wonderful out of LA location.
I ordered The-Fix burger. Great tasting burger, perfectly cooked medium, with all the accrutchiments. Taste beefy & tender. Canr with some perfectly cooked, buttery fries. Only drawback, I think, there is too much buns for the burger. it overwhelms it. Great place overall.“

I snagged a bite of my son’s breakfast burrito (he had it for dinner), and I totally get why it’s a favorite. It was super tasty and hit the spot.

So delicious that this first time coming here and being wow by the taste.... I definitely recommend it to anyone... Come and tried it. And definitely dont forget to ask for their special cargo sauce on the side you will want to put it every where. Excellent love it

“Great diner. Eat here a few times for breakfast. It's on the ground floor of the Hotel Normandie. The restaurant didn't open until 9am so I wasn't able to get an early coffee. Luckily there's a donut shop directly across the street for the early morning caffeine fix.
The staff at the restaurant were very friendly and welcoming. Even with the group of us that had been waiting at the door at 9am. The food was delicious. Basic diner food. Eggs,pancakes, burgers, etc. Eggs are cooked perfectly and I added the hash browns. Totally recommend the hash browns, so good. I also had yogurt, fruit, and granola dish. A big portion of fruit and the yogurt was fresh and delicious. Fries and burgers are also very good. Nice place if you're in the area. Prices and food are good. The staff are all very friendly.“

Favorite is Blue Chip Combo meal. Love the crew here. Always accommodating and patient with us. Makes our day happy and food is consistent. Burgers and breakfast delicious too.

Parking: Always busy but never disappointed with our food. Best to call in your orders ahead so they are ready by the time you get to intercom. Just tell them your name and your picking up your orders. Love the fried Zucchini and fries too.

“I have passed by this place so many times that I have lost count and I frequently dine at Monty‘s across the street so had to give this place a try and we are happy that we did so. It’s the traditional to go burger stand with limited outdoor seating, but in general is designed for to go. They have a small free parking lot attached, but it was full when we arrived so we had to do neighborhood street parking. They have a fairly large menu filled all sorts of classic diner options. Everything we ordered came out pretty fast as well.

For our first time we wanted to try a mix of items so we ordered the Double Chili Cheeseburger, the Club Sandwich, and a BLTA. All were very good, although none were great. I would say The Club was my favorite of all of them, but honestly, I would give this place another try and plan to be back in the future to try more items.
